You've got me thinking I need to pick up some of that. My stim tolerance has gotten way to high for
My taste.

Good to hear. I'm going to give it a shot on your recommendation. Thanks!
I am still pretty stim sensitive I can't imagine what the ReVamp would do to me... I would probably be flying off of coffee or something. A monster drink would actually send me through the roof.
If you are looking that good after 18 hours fasting I bet you really look like a stud with a food pump!
I filled up pretty nicely yesterday, had a nice food pump by the end of the day with about 300 grams of carbs. Was pretty nice.
Yah 300 grams would do it, the only thing is these lower carb pumps don't seem to last a long time. It's just that you fill up so fast.
I had about 150 at my last feeding in the evening yesterday and it was amazing how pumped I got from it. Still had a full look today as well. I am sure the IGF-1 is not hurting but that was Monday and I am still looking swole.
Nice Matt!
Doug, I think it has a little to do with the longer fasting we do on our burn days. Traditionally when you carb up like that the next day you will have a decent amount of carbs, not high but back to normal. However not so with the LG approach, carbs are lower on burn days and with extending the fast more of the stored energy is being used on the burn days so it would deplete you more quickly than say waking up the next day having a breakfast with moderate carbs then 4 other meals with moderate carbs so you never break into those stores under that scenario, hence the food pump lasting longer in that situation. It is actually the toggling of burn and build we are experiencing that makes Intermittent Fasting so effective.
Yeah, I just finished some hill sprints and what not and have not eaten today. I will have something either around 4 or just wait and eat dinner and have a big enjoyable dinner. Either way I have not been hungry yet today. It is so completely second nature and I feel like I am in complete control of my blood sugar which is truly amazing. I controlled my blood sugar before by abstaining from carbs but now I can use them precisely when needed and then keep them low when I am burning the fat off. I have to admit that it was / is completely freeing to think of food on a daily basis for what I am trying to achieve at that very moment instead of dieting for an overall goal. I still follow the you cut when you are cutting and you bulk when you are bulking philosophy but I switch between them from day to day which in the end gives me the holy grail of composition in a recomp strategy that ACTUALLY WORKS AND WORKS WELL!!!

Man you really said that well. I absolutely eating for that goals day also, and it is very effective too. Cut on burn days and bulking on build days. Alternating those two things is great and I have really enjoyed that strategy. I have never been so happy to see fat falling off while staying the same weight (adding LBM)
Can you tell a difference with adding more BCAA?
I should be able to preserve more mass, I have only been on this regime for a couple days. I should see a slowing in actual weight loss but not in fat loss...when you're body runs out of other things to burn for fuel it may break you're muscle down into bcaa's for fuel, doesn't need to do that if there is already plenty in your blood...Now how well they are absorbed it's hard to say but the leaner you get the more you need.
Agreed, BCAA's are very important for preserving muscle on a hard cut! That is something I would love to see FINAFLEX make, but we seem to stray away from the standards/norm and go with the more cutting edge kind of stuff, always looking to be the first kid on the block with a new toy!
I like new toys...
How about citrus flavored one with 8 grams of BCAA 8:1:1 ratio, 500mg of LCLT per scoop, and 2 grams of glutamine peptides. Many people don't realize the role glutamine plays in increasing protein synthesis, inducing a GH response, improving the immune system, and of course don't forget that glutamine is precisely the amino acid that the body goes after when catabolism starts. It is the easiest amino to break down into glycogen. Notice the Glu prefix that is associated normally with blood sugar, the name is not coincidence it is part of that energy axis.
That would be a new toy that I would choose over other bcaa's.
Hmmm... Learn something new everyday! Educational as always, Thanx Chris!
Yes sir I bet that fealt nice having someone stop you and say positive things after all your hard work.
Good stuff and honestly even if the compliments were homo, they are still compliments and a good thing. Being complimented by a homosexual doesn't make you one or the compliment any less valid.
Gotta be careful wearing those booty shorts!![]()
Nice workout~~ !!!
How do you do rest times for HST? Like do you try to keep your heart rate high ? Or try to take full rest~?
I am sure you tore it up Doug, looking forward to the workout recap.
Sounds great Doug, what can I say other than you are the Fuggin Man Bro!!!
hahah thanks, you're speakin my language...
Oh... I can do better than that... "Your one ripped 'Old Fugger' eh!"
Really loved the Yoga last night, I could feel more recovery and had a much better sleep. I'm hooked I am going to do a second sessioin on Wednesday and do 2 a week from here on out. This is going to do wonders for my muscle contractions and for my recovery plus.. it makes you feel good. I bet I get less injuries as well...
Sounds great Doug, I've often wondered about yoga, particular since I practice a martial art... Think I'm definitely going to have to give it a shot now! How are feeling any aches and pains? Or do you think actually aids recovery? I would think the later, but you never know...
Doug, be careful here, I was doing great with the new lifting and started heading back into my deeper ROMS again and now my hip has been hurting a bit. I think from going too deep on the leg press with a bunch of weight. I am having to really take a moment and revisit my plan for shorter ROM since it was working wonderfully until I started to slip back into old habits and thinking deeper. My ortho said better to think not so deep and just go a little heavier with shorter safer ROM.1 minute or less for the most part but when things get heavy sometimes I take a bit more time.
Front squats 195 X 15 X 195 X 14 I pulled my groin on the first set but I just made my stance less wide and did not point my toes outward. I was going very deep and re injured my groin but it does not seem really serious
Incline db press 80 X 15 75 X 12 only other place that reps were missed.
Lat pulldown 130 X 15 X 2 owned it..
Bent over row supine grip 145 X 15 X 2 killed it
Push Press 115 X 15 X 2 destroyed it
Decline tri extension 90 X 15 X 2 no problem
Obar curls 110 X 15 X 2 even stronger than 105 was..
Calf raise 115 X 15 X 2 no issues
Bar of death only 10 reps, it's hard to do with an injured groin when you're extending all the way out.
Full ab workout after that...
I am looking leaner and bigger it seems, like I said new striations in my lower obliques, deep ones in my shoulder and I look big....
