2011 ScottyDoc's famous FINAFLEX sponsored Hallow-Lean / 16wk SHREDDDD!!!

Lol well if your on a mission to get fat as you say. I have plenty to shate for many. Lol. You can do this. You have proven you can before so lets do the damn thing.

Doing it... it is as good as done, just will take time, keeping it is where the worry lies, that is what I was talking about!

Bro, I've said it before, I'll say it again, we are kindred spirits, made from the same mold! When I put my mind to it, I can achieve just about anything with my body, but holding/maintaing it seems to be harder for me then getting there! I mean don't get me wrong, cutting down and getting lean is not easy, but mentally, once I'm lean and I have achieved my goal, I always seem to slip a little, then a little more, then next thing you know it is almost like I'm on a mission to get FAT! I guess it is my all or nothing type of personality... It is like I'm either full throttle or dead in the water, there is no middle ground, but I have maintained it for 9mos before and I know how to maintain it, just a matter of sticking with it and not letting it get out of hand again, because even though it goes against my all or nothing personality, it really is much, much easier to maintain a certain level than it is to start from scratch again so to speak!

The bolded part of this statement especially the larger print is exactly why Lean Gains is so easy for me. I get to do both. All or nothing, on a training day I get to pretty much have it all. Within reason I get to eat, and even eat things I really want multiple times a week. Then on a burn day when I am supposed to be controlling it is a nothing mentality, and since there is a balance of both I never feel like I am never really that restricted. Today is a burn day but my son has a birthday cake at home and we got home from the movie too late to eat any so I am having a peice tonight. However I have not eaten at all today and wont for another 30-60 minutes and that will be a protein & blueberry smoothie, then tonight meat, veggies and a peice of cake. I will still wake up looking leaner tomorrow. Even with the cake I probably wont go over 100 grams of carbs, and I allow up to 150 grams on burn days.

I'm in this one of course!!!!

You go up and down in weight like crazy brotha!

So I guess the real challenge for me is to be able to say/prove I'm keeping the weight/fat off, Right?

Indeed:)

You had crazy before and after pictures last time, do you plan do be in just as good condition as last day? or even better :O

He wants to look like this - well actually he said he wants to get leaner than 4.6% which is way leaner than this fella. Al, I don't see any problem with you getting to this level of fitness. Question is are you gonna spring for hair extensions or what?

No... my costume plans are as follows: My ex-wife's husband works with metal for a living and we all have a great relationship for my daughter's sake, so he is going to make me the Hammer, I told him I want it to be around 25Lbs, because at first he was going to make it out of solid stainless steel, but then it would weight like 40Lbs; I'm not sure if he is going to put the designs in it or not, I know he can do it, he loves making art out of metal as a hobby, so I guess it all depends on how much effort he is willing to put into it for me, I'm definitely not going to sport $250+ for an aluminum replica, that is for sure. It is going to be 9"x5"x5" and the handle will be 18" long from butt to where it inserts into the metal. I have blue eyes, but they are greenish/blue, so I will buy ultra blue contacts, gonna let my beard grow out like in this picture and dye it blonde, that is easy, when I was younger I used to use the same stuff women would bleach their upper lips with, works awesome because I used to dye my goat-T like platinum blonde to look like the WWF wrestler Big Pappa Pump! OK back to costume... and a blonde wig which I will keep in place with some sort of brown leather crown/band that ties in the back (still looking and hoping to find one that has little metal wings attached to the sides), brown leather wrist bands and some brown leather pants, but not skin tight and not shiny, kind of a worn looking leather that fits like jeans tucked into some black biker or combat style boots, other than that... Tan & Shirtless and I'm done!!!

I'm going as Thor and my buddy as Capt A. Another as Ultimate hawkeye and we have one big dude who has your philosophy. Go BIG or go home. when he trains/diets... it's insane. When he is off... he is on a mission to see how much fat he can put on his body. So he's gonna go nuts and try be the hulk lol. We are going as the Avengers lol.

Too bad my hair is kinda sad... I'm sensitive to hairloss so all this DHT floating from Androhard is making the hair fall out even faster... lol

Doc , I will prolly stop by the store on Saturday to check in with ya . I have been busy and missed the first 4 pages of your post .

What he said, I mean I was the classic example of do or die then lose it in the off season. Now I have a chance to go way beyond of that what I have ever been able to achieve so far. I still have my killer instinct with 200% more control, it's a lethal weapon..

Absolutely, I am getting pretty lean and I am still not counting calories. Just estimating them based on my familiarity with foods and I am doing very well. Now I am not saying this method is the best way to get lean but if I can do it without counting cals then maintaining should be a breeze. Like you said Doug the amount of control is awesome and the freedom to let yourself go more often is awesome. Like I said I don't feel like I am on a cutting or leaning diet. I eat cake and ice cream, pastas, double meat hamburgers now these are not staples in my diet but they are included when i want to have them on Build days and trust me they are thoroughly enjoyed.

Agreed, Cpt. America is.... well Captain America, of course he is always going to be an all-time favorite! Yes, Chris Evans (2011 Cpt. America actor) did put on some quality mass to his already well balanced and ripped physique. I am eager to see it as well, gonna be Kick-A$$! I definitely think you can pull off Capt. America, for sure, especially with your physique, I would look for the smallest, tightest fitting spandex costume as possible, seriously, skin tight, really show off how Fugging RIPPED you are!!!

I think you'd make a great Captain America.
Cheetara would be a good goal for me LOL all that spandex, I'd really have to be in top shape.

I saw your picture and you have red hair, so you could pull of Dr. Jean Gray aka. the Phoenix! or like in that picture I posted me next to Mystique... all blue, pretty much just panties and some pasties over the nipples with blazing red hair! There is nothing cooler than a good looking woman trying to look like a superhero, because all female superheroes are sexy! So matter what you decide, sounds like a win to me!

Kewl-Deal Bro, see you then & there!

(Doug & Chris) I hear ya Bro's, I'm just gonna stick with what I know for right now, but I promise, when this is all over, I will be on top of you guys like Red Beans on Rice for information to start my Lean Gains in attempt to maintain what I have achieved through my dieting and to add a little tweeks here and there and always always always looking to add more mass to my legs!!!

Al I highly recommend lean gains. I have not counted calorie one and am making changes almost daily. What amazes me is that you get to eat carbs, much more than on a contest prep or cut diet, remain much more full looking and burn fat. Sometimes you do need a diet pill in the morning to make it to your fast ending meal but for me that is not a big deal. That or a few cups of coffee and you should be fine. The other thing about lean gains is the versatility it gives you in your diet, you can go higher carbs one day you are working out, drop them a lot on a burn day, add in moderate carbs on a small muscle day, throw in something you are craving and you are no worse for wear. Chris and I both (and Doug too) found that you can fill up easily on less cals then normal and have no drops in strength. Heck on Tuesday I did DB rows (standing mind you, hand on hip) with 120x8 for multiple sets. That is a huge PR and I am down around an estimated 2500 cals and I am 214. You can't even dream of that on any cut diet cause you are starved for carbs and lack the explosive power you need to make that lift. I know I am overselling it here but I just believe it is the best option out there for someone looking to continually improve body composition and eat the way you want to make life better.

I'm in~ Looks good.

You going to do any carb loading? Your diet only has one meal of 3/4 cups oats~ I'd be dead without some type of carbing up lol

No carb loading/de-loading until the end, but if you look again, as in at my next post which I am about to do, I have re-arranged the diet just a tad and it does add a second meal with carbs! They were definitely too low and I was paying the price!

My workout took approximately 1hr & 15 mins. after which I immediately began and completed my 1hr of cardio on the cross-fit elliptical machine

Oh and just for today because I got PMed about my timing during the day...
Diet:
6:00am - Meal 1 - 6 egg whites (1 yoke) & 3/4 cup of oatmeal (cinnamon & splenda)
10:00am - Meal 2 - 6 egg whites (1 yoke) & 3/4 cup of oatmeal (cinnamon & splenda) - Post Workout
1:00pm - Meal 3 - 2 cans tuna in water & 1 can of spinach
4:00pm - Meal 4 - 8oz Baked Chicken breast & 1 cup of green beans
7:00pm - Meal 5 - 8oz Baked Chicken breast & 1 cup of green beans
11:00am - Meal 6 - 2 scoops protein power with water (pre-sleep)

Just some FYI, I like routine and structure, I typically like to do it this way that way I know what I am doing or eating and what time I'm doing it at... (Mon-Fri anyway). I have not really been mentioning this, so I will do so now and from here on, Monday's workout was good, I did get 14 plates on each side on the sled (didn't film that one, but don't worry...), that is not my PR, but it is where I want to be at this point. Tuesday's workout was long, I was doing a friend a favor and trainer her son along-side of me and it just made the workout take forever, which is why I didn't have time to do cardio, but it was a good workout. Wednesday's workout was great, was alone, but still took a little longer than expected and then did my cardio, which was the first time doing cardio in a few weeks and man that kicked my A$$, the workout was great, but I felt like I had heat-stroke (weak & hot) all day long. Today's workout was very well timed, went very well and the cardio was remarkably easier both doing it and after, I feel just fine and that was hours ago!

Looks great, your last h-lean log was epic, so def not going to miss out on this - bring on the thunder!!

Scott The only time did you eat complex carbs is before hit the weights right?

Yes, but on day for and from now on, I will be eating a small portion of complex carbs both before and after my exercise regiment! The last two or three weeks when I start to carb-cycle, then that will be a completely different story, but I'll worry about explaining all that when I get to that point!

Hell yeah man! Looks like a solid session keep up the hard work, I've been thinking about carb cycling as well..

Wow 28 sets in 75 minutes. Pretty impressive then an hour on cardio, what are you a super hero in training?

I completely understand the need / desire for the structure with the diet. I have never been able to follow a diet with out having extreme rigidity. Something about the rigidity of it makes me stick to it but then again when I mess up it is very easy to go nuts, or even just stop the diet all together.

Not selling you on Lean Gains because I know you are already sold on it, just for after this cut. Although I think it would make the cut easier on you. I am not going to say it is more effective at fat loss, but I do think it is better suited to keeping or even adding mass in a cut. Either way I know you are gonna crush this and I can't wait to see. I do have a question, are you farther out this time than you were when you began the cut last year. For some reason your before pics look like you were leaner starting our last cut.

Last cut I started with 12 wks at like 17.9% BF I think, so yes I am definitely further out, but giving myself 4 weeks to adjust to the 2.1% extra BF and considering I want to come in leaner than 5.3%, it is going to be down to the wire again, but that is actually go good thing for me in the sense that it will be the extra motivation I need when I wake up at 5:30am and want to skip the gym or when my daughter is eating a slice of pizza and I wanna go out and buy and eat a whole damn Pizza, etc. Not to mention, it makes for a better transformation, Heheh!

I am definitely sold on Lean Gains, I'm just thinking that at my present bodyweight = 250Lbs, body fat = 20%, & Lean Body Mass = 200Lbs that if I were to just hold on to every single oz. of lean muscle and drop 40Lbs of fat, I would come in at so close to my goal... 210Lbs @ 5%, therefore, if I duplicate exactly, I mean exactly what I did last time, which was to gain just 1Lb of lean muscle and drop down to 210Lbs body weight with a lean body mass of 201, that puts me at like 4.5% which will beat my Silver Surfer (PR) 4.6%. I mean that seems very possible to me, I will be taking more 1-ANDRO & more EPI-V and for a longer period of time, not to mention I have no idea if my Testosterone was low last time or not, I would think it was, maybe not as low as a month ago, but lower than normal, so I'm hoping for the Test to help a tiny bit as well!

What do you think, honestly, my feelings will not be hurt and I'm going to give it every single thing I got no matter your answer, do you think that my goal is unrealistic with a perfect diet and exercise routine???

I completed this workout in 1 hour, I was not playing around and was moving very quickly with maybe 1-1.5 mins between sets (excluding Good Girl / Bad Girl) which was done back to back to back until completion. After this workout I spent 45 minutes in the sauna, now I don't actually spend 45 mins straight in the sauna, but I stay in there for 15 mins, then come out and cool off for 5 mins, then back in for 15 mins and out for 5, repeat, so my total time in the sauna was 45mins in 1 hour. I did the sauna because I do not do cardio on my leg days even if it is a light day because I really want my legs to grow more than any other body part and also because I LOVE the sauna and it may not burn as many calories as cardio, but it definitely burns more than doing nothing!

Some more FYI, even though I'm going as THOR and will not be showing off my legs, I still emphasize growth in this area because it is what is important to me personally and how I want my overall physique to look, symmetry that I want, which to me is more important than the contest, not to mention, if I'm at least as big as Chris Hemsworth and really pull it off with all the other little props and come in looking ripped as $hit, that is what they will focus on the most, my body, which is what I want... Hey Ladies...!!!

Hey scotty what else are you taking supp wise beside 1-andro,Epi-V,ALC+CLA,Pro Xanthine,Pure Test and PCT REV Black. Are you running cycle support or anything for liver and organs beside the PCT REV?

I don't have the bottle with me at work to look at it, but it is made by NOW and it is a liver support, as well as taking large amounts of other NOW products: OMEGA 3-6-9 Gels & a MSM, Glucosamine, & Chondroitin combo (joint health). Besides that, just FINAFLEX products, Oh wait, I am on a multi-vitamin pak by Met-Rx (Arsenal Training Pak).

Thanks really interested in your run here and just looking at how much your whole run would cost with the same stuff you are using. Thats why I was asking plus just wondering if you were adding in other support supps.

I agree, a run like this would cost a pretty penny, it is well worth it if you can afford it, I am not one of those people to be honest with you, while in Nursing School and working for FINAFLEX I could never afford a run of this magnitude! I am just lucky that I get the products for free and the NOW products I speak of, I get them at cost because FINAFLEX owns two Nutrition stores, so that is the only reason/way I could do a run like this! Honestly, I got incredible results last time with 4 caps of each per day, I'm really only running this high of a dose because Chris wanted to see me run a super dose like this since it doesn't cost me anything and this time around, being that I'm going as THOR, I really want to come in as BIG as possible, the last two times, SILVER SURFER especially, I didn't care what I weighed or how big I was really, just that I was ripped, this time, they both matter! Chris actually wanted to see me run 8 caps/day, but when we conversed with Patrick Arnold the other day, he recommended (400-600mg/day) and at 6 caps a day... that's 660mg/day, so I'll cap it at that, LoL!

LoL, I could see me at my SILVER SURFER weight and BF trying to pull of THOR... I would have to say I was a young teen-age THOR, LoL! "Thor... The Younger Years!"

Just crunched the numbers and YIKES!!!! I really want to keep my size but get ripped up maybe just run a hight dose EPI-V+PCT REV Black for 6 weeks with cycle support. Then PCT REV Black+Pure Test+stinging nettle root for 6-7 weeks.

Like I said it is worth the price tag if you are going to do it for real, I mean dedicate yourself to the diet, exercise, the whole thing, if not.... not worth it, I mean it isn't going to magically transform you with half-a$$ effort, like I always tell people, our products are amazing... they are like amplifiers, they amplify the effort you put into it. For example, if you are giving it 100% in diet and exercise, you will get 120% results! That is the best analogy I have!

That is what I'm figuring, I mean the only question is can I maintain this diet, which I know the answer is yes, and I'm sure anyone who has followed my past Log sure knows I can, LoL!

Ya know this Log is kind of funny to me, it is so different than my first Log it's crazy! When I ran my first Log, I would have to say the first like 4 weeks people were bashing me, raising the B.S. Flag on me, saying there was no way, it was impossible, etc. etc.

On this Forum, NO, because by the 5th, 6th, & 7th week people started to really pay attention and change their attitudes and become way more friendly and cheer me on, so it was good enough that I showed them and they pretty much called themselves out saying I didn't think you could do it, but I see it happening keep on going, I think you can do this man, etc. etc. But, on Invalid Link Removed, I did say told ya so to those bunch of A$$-Clowns!!!

Yeah a lot of these other forums are just ridiculous, so many pessimistic a$$holes who think they know everything. Luckily AM is amazing and everyone is open minded or have their minds changed.

I don't understand why anyone would want to bash. Even if they don't think it is possible, why would you bash someone for trying?!!! Someone is trying to better themselves and even if you think it is beyond possibility for them to do, why would you knock them down for setting high goals and expectations and going all out to achieve them, whether they make it or not?!!! Just doesn't make sense to me!!!!

FAB my brotha, I'm right there with you, but what you have to remember is... most of the people on some of these other sites I think are very young, and more importantly, very immature, they are what I like to call, "Keyboard Cowboys!" They make themselves feel better by putting others down, they thrive on the turmoil and negativity they can spread, it is unfortunate, but I too like TINYGUY, am very thankful that we have an incredible crew here on AnabolicMinds, very open-minded, men & women, old & young, all working together to help, motivate, & push one another in a positive fashion, which if I'm not mistaken, is what these forums are for and why most of us joined up to begin with!

BodyPlex in Cumming, GA! It is a great gym and FINAFLEX has a corporate membership for all their employees!

Let's do it! I really think that my form was my problem, now when i DL i look as far up as possible during the entire lift so my back is straight and as soon as i started doing that i would BLAST the weight off the floor. Before i'd look in the mirror which would throw me off form wise..
You got it man just dig deep and focus on that goal and you'll get it a lot EASIER then you thought. :D

Do work Man!! That's what I am shooting for too.

DO WORK! Gonna train the legs/back HARD so i can hit it! All it takes is desire and dedication with a positive mindset and BAM you'll have it before you know it!

Go for it and I'm sure you'll get it. But you know, even if you don't, fighting for it is what it's all about!!!
