KLEEN's Recovery and Cut Log = RLS Dermacrine, NTBM Gear and other goodies to start.

275 for 12 would be real good. You would be able to rep 315 for an easy 5-6 once your able to start going heavy. Sound like a gret plan.

And yes keep it in bold...print it out...put it on the fridge, on the bathroom mirror, everywhere. Like you have said to me 100x, it's great your hungry, its great you wanna improve yourself, but you gotta give yourself credit when credit is due. You're looking like a bodybuilder, you're making gains, AND your not even 100% yet. Really? That's what I call beast.

Yeah that is my thought. I mean some day 315 x12 would be awesome and nothing saying I can't get there but for now I am shooting for things that I think are safely attainable in the next 6-12 months. I think the 275x12 may be something I can do by years end if things go great. I was benching 245 for 15 before I hurt myself so it is not too far a reach.

The 405x20 on Deads I think I can do in a year or just a little longer but we will see. I really just started pushing the dead lift again and my strength shot up. I am definitely a puller more than a squatter and that is okay with me. With the Trap Bar I get so much quad, glute, and hamstring activation it is ridiculous. Basically to put the bar down in a center line puts me about 1-2 inches above parallel. Yet hits my traps and entrie back hard too. Oh and the urge to hyper extend the lower back during the lock out is not there which is another benefit to not cause injury.

Trap Bar Deads

So the 275x20 went off rather easily. I got through 14 reps raw grip then spun my versa's around real quick and finish the 20 reps with out any need to pause other than my callouses trying to rip off lol, man that rosin makes the grip strong callouses stuck to the bar more than they were stuck to my hand almost.

I will stick with my plan to go up to 285 next even though I know I could do 295 or 305 for sure. Heck maybe even 315 with multiple rest pauses. However I am going to practice what I have been preaching and progress in a methodical manner. We are only talking a 3 week build up to see that 315 on the bar unless things get real hard before then and I slow down to 5 lbs per workout. Currently I don't expect that too happen but I am also still working at cutting some fat.

Good stuff Chris!! Everything looks nice and your lifts are looking great. Good job man. I can't imagine what your numbers will look like when you are at 100% effort

Alright so my Bro just called me out about not spending enough time in his log. So now i am going to be spending a lot of time here hope you all don't mind. :*******: LMAO :kidding:.. Love ya Bro.

I agree staying methodical is the way to really make progress. You are really making some serious things happen for you body and specifically your recovery. No use in trying to jump ahead when you know you will get there regardless and the methodical way will make sure you aren't injured.

I love my Versas!!! I effed up and left them on a cardio machine bc I was at a different gym that didn't have cubby holes and I was carrying them with me to cardio, which I never do. Thank GOD they had them when I returned. I called the same day and the guy was like, nope they aren't here. I decided to go back up there the next and sure enough, somebody had brought them back that morning.
The lady at the desk said that the person who turned them in couldn't figure out what they did....lol.

I just that's good for me at this point bc they are my saving grace for really heavy lifts.

Killin in the name of KLEEN!!!!! Good job in here bro.

Morry you'd have to snap some necks if they walked off with your versas. Those things aint cheap. Probably why my broke ass hasn't picked a pair up. I rarely use straps though..

:saw:

Yup....

Fast Day #2 and Appearance updates and responses.

Appearance, man after some carbs yesterday the improvement in my physique since the beginning of the week is obvious to me. Abs are definitely coming in better. More vascular, waistline is smaller and I filled up very nicely on about 200 grams of carbs yesterday. I will be carbing up moderately heavily on Saturday then soaking in an extremely hot epson salt bath. I should wake up on Sunday looking like a champ. I will take some pics before I go to the concert. I may be an egomaniac and do a beach body pump workout before I do them just so I can have a little swell on for the pics.

Good stuff Chris!! Everything looks nice and your lifts are looking great. Good job man. I can't imagine what your numbers will look like when you are at 100% effort
Rick, I am really interested to see where I can go with weight on a lot of things with the new weight progression mindset while keeping intensity completely under my control. I have never really lifted for strength as a goal to be honest. More the intensity and I fell into the you must change your workouts every 6-8 weeks dogma for a long time. Granted while working from new angles shocks the body it doesn't do much for continuing to develop strength in specific lifts. I hope to stretch these gaining cycles out extensively as in 15-20 weeks if possible but even a 12 week steady period of progression while avoiding over training at all costs will produce a lot of gains in both strength and muscle.
Alright so my Bro just called me out about not spending enough time in his log. So now i am going to be spending a lot of time here hope you all don't mind. :*******: LMAO :kidding:.. Love ya Bro.

I am glad you are here Sir! About damn time!!!! Go back and read this bad boy Bro, there is tons in here to help with your goals on weight loss. I think you should definitely thing about entertaining the lean gains protocol with calories around 1800 on cardio and rest days and about 2500 on your lift days. Will really move the weight loss along while allowing you to both burn fat and build muscle on your workout days by doing a cardio session in the am while fasting and continuing to fast until you break fast around 12 or even 2 depending on when you get home from the gym because that is when you would have your biggest meal so you need to allow for time to get that meal in when you get home from the gym so exactly 8 hours before that is when you break the fast. Anyway if you want to give it a shot then read through at least my posts in this thread and you will have just about everything you need to get started any thing you cant figure out or need help on call me and I will help you get started.

Yeah that and I like to use them on occasion just to keep my elbows happy. Sometimes gripping so hard gets me a little tennis elbow and when that starts a little I use the versas the next workout or two even when I don't need grip assistance and it clears up before becoming an issue.

Yeah I got mine as a gift but now my wife wants a pair. I use mine much less since I carry a pitchers rosin bag to the gym. No chalk ok, this aint chalk, and doesn't make a mess. ;) Grip is like sticky tape now. LOL

I love having moderate carbs back in my diet. I am always looking full...

Makes a huge difference for sure. Well I just ate a little bit of lettuce with a little salsa on it definitely did not make it over 50 calories. I didn't want to make everyone in the meeting feel weird about me not eating. I did get to take some chicken to eat tomorrow though! I am going to keep on with this and basically try to peak for the pics in a lot of the same ways many of the NTBM competitors did with there shots. On top of that I will probably post them up in that thread too just to kind of pay homage to you all for being a good part of the motivation behind the transformation. Pitting myself against you all even though I was not able to compete made me hold myself accountable more and that made it easy to diet down. Granted I still took more liberties than many of you all did I made some stellar strides in my transformation.

That sounds like a great idea Chris!! Lets see Kleens amazing transformation alongside all the others that have done so well....I like that man. I'm ready to see how it comes out in your pics because your progress pics have been excellent up to now...
