What's the last thing you ate??

the best are the burgers. most of fast food burger patties are prepared by this company from cow hooves, faces, trimmings from all over the world. then when they try to protect the meat from bacteria they send the patties through this tunnel where they get sprayed by ammonia. and then they turn around and charge you as much for a combo meal as it would cost you to cook two healthy meals.

Last night:
chicken/chick peas/nonfat cream of chicken soup/salsa all wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla then baked. Then I had about a whole bunch of celery dipped in salsa.

This morning:
6 eggs and 2 pieces of home made whole wheat cranberry toast.

todays diet consisted of 12 eggs scrambled with red onion and green pepper and topped with franks red hot sauce. They were divided into 3 meals. My other meal was 8oz of ground beef with jalapenos and garlic and about 3 whey shakes and a filled in the rest with almonds, almond butter, and fish oil caps... Mmmmm :food:

Many people are crazy about eating.They would love to eat more and more.I have just taken my lunch a few hours ago and I ate a cup of rice.This is in my view is the last thing i eat.

2 cans canned salmon, 1 can tuna. Its going to be a rough.
 
I'm not liking it at all. Mine has like small bone chunks in it. I'm only eating it b/c of every time an article comes out about mercury poisoning, my mom decides that I need to read it. BLAH.

dude eat all of it. i eat the skin, spine, everything in that can. its cooked through so its all edible. F the mercury im eating my salmon
 
last thing I ate was 14oz of venison cubed steak pan cooked plus 2 pieces of ezekiel sprouted grain toast with iced green tea

Its just a weird texture. It also weirds me out that it comes out of the can looking remarkably like cat food. I'm still going to eat it regardless. Eating is a chore for me. My body wants to be 150-160 and I'm sitting at 213 currently.

yeah its a perfect keto food if you wanna go all out. eggs/steak/salmon/chicken/vegetables and you'll be shredded in no time. ive actually realized that im always on the border of keto because im eating no more than 50g of carbs a day but i got tons and tons of energy for training and muscles feel full and great. i guess after a year of paleo my body got used to oxidizing fats efficiently.
 
How do you eat the canned salmon? Right out of the can plain? Mixed with mayo like tuna fish? Got any tips or ways you like to eat it? I will pick me up a couple cans to try it out this weekend

yeah man im weird i dont need anything. i just open the can, drain some water and eat it. ive mixed it with spinach and olive oil before. also mixed it with mash potatoes and butter which i thought was great.

I eat too much protein to be in keto. Or at least that's what I've been told. That's basically what I'm eating right now. No eggs though. Steak, chicken, salmon, cheese and green veggies is pretty much what I eat. I want to experiment with keto sticks to see where my body actually hits ketosis.

i dont think thats possible. i put my roomate on keto this summer with tons and tons of protein and he lost 30 pounds of straight fat. i mean even if you are not in a calorie deficit, your body composition will dramatically improve and you will start to utilize the body fat as energy. give it a try.

why no eggs??? they are magical!!
 
Iirc EJL had a post about how too much protein on keto was detrimental to it. Something about conversion of protein into something that makes you fat. I've got another week of pct before I start to try shedding some of this bf. I'm probably going to lower the cals and add in clen at some point.

The only experiment I had with keto was out of sheer laziness and I consumed most of my calories from cheese. I dropped 10 lbs in 8 days with out doing any cardio.

Oh yeah just ate again. Can of tuna + beef jerky + water.
 
Yeah, to truly get into ketosis, its not entirely about having low carbs (although that is critical) as by having too much protein intake your body will use gluconeogenisis to create glucose from the aminos rather than go through the effort of inducing ketosis. so really something in the 1g/lb or under (as low as .6g/lb if I recall Lyle McDonald's figures) still is in range for muscle retention but makes ketosis far easier to get into, and higher amounts may keep you out of ketosis.
