AE's boy do I Need2Slin log (sponsored)

Keep up the good work AE. Lean and Mean in no time :)
No HOA up here Canada really.
you are quite fortunate Steve, they are whiny little PITA

I rent in an area with stuckup garbage men.

If they don't like your trash they leave it.

One time they thought there was too much recyclable stuff in the trash bags (not sure how they determined this) and the town gave us a $500 fine, no warning.
thats crazy, without warning.
man im lucky i own a house in a nice neigborhood and no HOA... lol... couldnt deal with all their BS youre the bigger man AE
I always get even, but I bide my time. Itdrives my wife crazy, she always knows when some lttle devious plan is hatching :)

Had a real nice chest day today considering the back is still not near 100%

Flat bp (12 sets) 3 sets @ 315 4-3-3 reps
Floor press (7 sets) 295 sets of 5 :woohoo:
Incline flys (4 sets) 55lbs sets of 8-10

Had surprising strength and felt good. Not too sure about tomorrows workout, have a late meeting at work so we shall see

sorry for the delay, work has been a tad crazy. Got home late so put in a modified shoulder workout

Arny presses (5 sets) 70-70lbs sets of 8-10
BB Shrugs (5 sets) 405lbs sets of 8

Side laterals (5 sets) 30lbs to failure
Rear laterals (5 sets) 30lbs to failure

the exercises that are paired together were supersetted. Trying to make the most of the limited time I had

just got 4 bottles yesterday! stoked to get on after reading this stuff. Also, my HOA got me twice so far. once for having a mosquito sized whole in my screen in the front window lol. and one time when we went on vacation for some reason the little ******* paper boy started littering my driveway with a paper I never ordered! needless to say two weeks later I had amassed a sizeable fine.

Deads day yesterday

Sorry for the delay, was not home too much yesterday and work has been nutty

Warmup
Chins (4 sets) bw sets of 6-8

Deads (10 sets) 455lbs easy 1 sets of 405lbs
DB Rows (5 sets) 75lbs sets of 10-12

I have been a bit fatigued recently that is not as a result of N2S. My work life has been a bit all consuming. I am hoping that at least at the end of this week, it will have settled down a bit.

Nothing of any major consequence to note. Strength is consistent, vascularity is excellent. Hoping the final week + of N2S goes as well as the previous

WOW I would put on a mask and on morning chase him down and beat the sh!t out of him.

Did chest and tris yesterday. First thing I noticed since I ran out of orange triad and am using now adam, my shoulders are killing me. So, I will be placing an order from NP today that will cover that issue.

Chest:
Incline bp (8 sets) 2 sets @ 275lbs 5 reps per
"dead" bench (6 sets) 1 set 315lbs 1 rep focused remainder at 255-275lbs
Incline flys (4 sets) 55lbs to failure

Tris
JM Press (6 sets) 205lbs sets of 7
CG BP (5 sets) sets at 225lbs sets of 7-9

agreed, I regret not picking it up. Going to be grabbing more shortly. It covers so many bases that you dont realize till after you stop using it

hows the weight sittin bro? You noticing any changes in body composition? Any changes in appetite?

Need2slin noticeably drops my blood sugar as much as anything I have used including insulin. I am not joking...

Stronger than IGF1
DESTROYS SlinSane, Yellow Gold, Anabolic pump

Obviously insulin is stronger IE needs multiple carb feedings BUT the feeling of need2slin without carbs is almost as frightening.

Haha that's pretty badass!

Haha that's pretty badass!

I need to qualify and change my statement...

It is definitely great but I realized I forgot to take a medicine that my body is use to for 2 days in a row and that is part of what I was feeling today. It also clouded my thoughts and made me not realize that was part of the cause

I am going to hit up a weigh in tomorrow, however, I am a little leaner. Appetite is always up, good thing I always have food readily available.

Had a very energetic workout, I will explain the reason at the end

Legs:
Bench Squats (lost count of sets after 13) 405lbs 2 sets 4 reps per

This just felt good, so I kept going and didnt do anything else for quads

Standing calf raises (7 sets) 315lbs reps of 10-12

So I was finishing up work, kinda tired and my cell rings. Its my wife, who is waiting on a call about a job. For those that dont know, she has not worked full time in 18 very long months. As it turns out, she is going to meet the president of the company she interviewed with last week. She should have the official offer on Wednesday :woohoo: no more penny pinching, as it will be more $ than she ever earned.

Going to be going out for a celebratory dinner shortly

Awesome news AE. My girl just graduated recently and found a decent job at Charles Schwab. We went out for a celebration dinner last week :) So I feel you...

Only difference is I'm still broke as a joke going to school lol.

I remember those days. However, stick to the hard work with school, it pays off in the end. Karma my friend :)

I just finished my 2nd masters last spring, and am months away from my Principals certification. Hoping to be a VP starting 7/1 (if things break the way I believe they will). That would throw us over the top. As it is now, this is the best we have ever been financially, so a VP spot would be huge

School did nothing but take 110k from me and drain my trust fund. Haven't been able to find a job in 2 years and might need to move out of state away from all my friends...

It is a rough market depending on what you do. Good luck

thanks man, she is so psyched. We never thought it would be 18 months after she got laid off

God works in mysterious ways. Glad you've landed a new job. Sure will make life less hectic. :D

I lot of my friends are in the same boat as you, however there have been one or two that recently landed very nice positions with companies because they DID have a higher level of education then the next person. I think that a college degree benefits you when the opportunity arises, because imo i'd rather wait it out for a few years and then bag a job with the big cash, then never experience school and have a limited income (save for the people who strike it rich with innovative million dollar ideas.. )

Depends on where you live... In a metropolitan area everyone and their little sister has a degree. A degree is like a high school diploma and a masters is what college use to be. Going to private schools that are not top tier is a total waste and I learned that the hard way.

Well I guess I can understand how the area you live in will affect that. I guess sometimes the best thing you can do is relocate to a better market for what it is you went to school for. I was just sharing my experience. Quite a lot of money to spend though, to be seeing little results from it. I wish you the best of luck in finding something stable that is a reward for your time in school.

back and bi day

just as an aside, the congratulatory dinner for my wife was awesome. I had a huge bison burger, so good

So got in some back and bis today

Wide chins (5 sets) bw to failure
t bar rows (5 sets) 3 45's set of 12
bb rows (5 sets) 185lbs sets of 8

bi's
alternating curls (4 sets) 45lbs sets of 10
bb curls (4 sets) 100lbs sets of 7-9
1arm preacher (4 sets) 50lbs sets of 7-9

So I had another weigh in this am. After my run and post run shake and once again 202lbs. Very weird indeed. Vascularity is up. With dinner last night I did take 2 N2S as I knew there would be more carbs than usual. That seemed to help greatly

nice back workout. bison burger sounds good too.. was it at least a 1/2 lber??

lol

Adam, congratulations to both you and your wife on the recent good news! When there's so many stories of unemployment and recession, it's good to hear you're doing well for yourself.

Thanks man. It was a long haul, but we proved we could make it on a teachers salary which is an accomplishment in it's own right. :)

got in an earlier then normal heavy chest day, followed by 30 minutes of treadmill work

Flat BP (12 sets) 335lbs easy 1 rep 2 sets @ 315lbs sets @ 3 reps
Floor press (7 sets) 300lbs 5 reps :woohoo:
Incline DP press (4 sets) 75lbs 12 reps per

Strength is very solid considering I am at 202lbs. If I feel good next week, might make the attempt at 350lbs. We shall see :)

sorry for the delay, been a busy week, and tomorrow is the only day I will get home "normal" time.

I hit shoulders around 8pm last night, which sucks when you run at 4am. :aargh:

BTN Press (6 sets) 135-175lbs reps ranges of 5-9 per set
BB Shrugs (5 sets) sets @ 405lbs rep range 7-9
Side laterals (5 sets) 30lbs to failure

Gotta say, I was spent, took a shower and went to bed, no shake

Will give a more detailed update tomorrow

No post workout shake!? Ahhhhh man, that negates all the effort you put into it!

We're not just told to think it, science along with every other known law and finding of metabolism and protein synthesis ever discovered in modern medicine DEMANDS it!

Oh lord I thought that was a joke... Ok fine. So no one who chooses whole food after workout has ever grown (including many advanced bodybuilders) and working out is not worth doing when you run out of protein powder ha. Seriously do you really think this is true? John Meadows who is a pro bodybuilders and established personal trainer with very average genetics is just one of many experts who chose solid meals. Really this totalitarian view is a little ridiculous. Protein is fine but many more advanced guys do not use shakes.

Sitting at my daughters karate class, which is offering my only update time. Did my dead day.

Deads (10 sets) sets @ 405 3,4,4 reps
BB rows (6 sets).sets @ 205
Wide grip chins (4 sets) bw to failure

I am jealous of your strength in this whole log. You are a bit ahead of me in almost everything.

update

So yesterday was the longest day of the school year. In essence, I am at work by 6:45 am as usual, and not home until 10pm. However, as I drove in the morning I started to feel sick (head coldish) So, I did my chest tri workout at school, and by the time I made it to my office, I had a fever and could barely function. That was 330, so only 6.5 hours left :)

Needless to say, by the time I got home, I was sick as a dog, and barely got any sleep. Fever is still around 101, and I am achy as hell. I wont be lifting today, and I hope that I will be able to tomorrow.

This is what I did yesterday afternoon

Incline BP (8 sets) 275lbs 2 sets @ 5 reps
Incline flys (5 sets) 55lbs
JM Press (6 sets) 205lbs 6 reps :woohoo:
CG BP ( 5 sets) 245lbs sets of 5

Sorry if I missed it, but what's a JM press?

Hope you feel better. Get some chicken soup, vitamin C, Zinc and echinacea! Lots of the Halls Defense stuff works pretty good for me at the onset of illness to help prevent / recover faster.

n essence, a JM press is with a BB. Take a typical close grip, bring it down as if doing close grips, then lower it into a skull crusher motion. If I knew how to link a video I would show you. It destroys my tris. It is the most highly recommended tri exercise from Dave Tate

THANKS! I'll def. check it out! Sounds wicked, and a huge weight on there too!

Nothing like a being sick workout

So I have a tendency to get a tad restless at times, and today was no exception. I did my normal treadmill work this am, coupled with ab work. Got a ridiculous sweat going, which I was happy as I rationalized it that I was sweating the sick right out of me.

Gave a solid effort for lifting this afternoon.

Tried a little focus xt/dicreatine malate/ba/citrulline mixture. Wow!

Back
underhand pullups (4 sets) bw sets of 8
db rows (5 sets) 75lbs sets of 8 (fatigued much quicker than usual)
wide chins (4 sets) bw sets of 7-9

Bi's
standing alternating curls (4 sets) 45lbs sets of 8-10
seated incline curls (4 sets) 45-50lbs sets of 8

I was done after this. I actually flatened out thebench and I was spent.

I was happy to get a little something in, and I hope with more recovery tomorrow, heavy chest wont be too bad.

Tomorrow will be my final day on N2S :( I will update with a very formal final write up

Started my final day, weighed in at 203. Also, did my first treadmill morning with my new "shoes". I bought the Vibram 5 fingers KSO last night. What an odd experience, but felt kinda interesting in a positive way. I am going to use them lifting as well
