UPDATE

Hit the gym last night and it felt great to be back. I went very light and with moderate reps to get the blood flowing. Everything was done very very slow and controlled. The intensity inside me wanted out!!!!! I refrained and kept it light though but it was not easy. My regualr gym is closed for the summer due to construction on the buliding so I will be forced to hit a different gym for the next 2 months. It is in the basement of an old warehouse and is a striaght up dirty grungy typical meat head gym lol. I must say I am not really a fan of it but it will have to do.

Warm Up:

15 min of stretching

Flat bench w/ feet int he air: 10x135, 10x135, 8x185

Workout, Chest:

Flat bench w/ feet int he air: 15x185, 5x185, 5x185, 5x185, 5x185

Seated upright bench machine (simulates decline) 15x135, 10x225, 10x225, 10x225

My elbow is a elbow is a bit sore this morning due to my forearms being tight. I will continue to stretch and massage it today and that should help. The pain is no where near where it was that for sure. I am going to hit the gym tonight and pound out a back workout. Monday I will start to pop the Citruvol-ULTRA and Cre02 again.

On another positive note, Tomahawk flying in this Tuesday and will be staying at my house for roughly a week. Looking forward to training with him and learning a few new things. He will also have the pleasure of coming out to power lifting practice with me. How many people think he should throw on a bench shirt while he is here? lol.

I ordered some more Cre02 & Citruvol-ULTRA to offset what I had taken already. I agreed to run a solid log for MST and I will defn hold up my promise no matter what!!!!! I am basically going to start this log fresh so I will reset the updates back to day one. I am amped up beyond belif today to hit the gym after work.

Not a problem. My old man had always tought me to be a man of my word no matter what. I promised MST and everyone subb'd a show and that is what will be given. Just bear with me one more week and I will get this going full speed once again.

UPDATE

My strength is defn down drastically from that 3 week break but I know it will slowly return over the course of the next month or so. I am in some pain today again from last nights workout but it still is no where even close to where the pain was. It is killing my that I cant load the weight on there and throw it around like I was a month ago!!!!!!

Sides: My appitie is up due to burning calories once again. N/A for the time being

This new gym I was forced to go to is kind of growing on me despite the fact that its pretty dirty. I met up with a few of my buddies that are now compeating in the body building side of the sport that are now training there as well. I haven't had the chance to train with them in almost 4 years. Defn going to be good to slam some plates with them all summer long.

After watching them train, I was kinda of some what amazed though. When they were benching they lifted their asses off the bench with every rep!!! I know Aaelael is a body builder with a few others following this log. Is this a common thing for you guys? In my book it doesnt count if your ass comes up but I guess to each their own. defn interested in hearing some opinons here. The kicker is two of them are certified personal trainers!!!!

I came across some of my old workout cd's from when I was in college last night. This is decently old but still gets me fired up!!!!!! I hope it will do the same for everyone else!!

Injured or not my libedo is still way up, I couldnt wait to get home to my beautiful girlfriend last night!!!!! My mind was set on two things after the gym, mass amounts of food and her!!!!!! I will always still throw the libido check out there though lol.....

Tonight wil be my shoulders workout. I am going to try and up the weight a little bit depending how I feel. This light sh*t sucks. My mind just keeps saying LOAD IT UP AND FU*KING THROW THE DAMN WEIGHT ALREADY!!!!!! :grumpy:

UPDATE

Felt pretty good last night. Hit the gym all fired up after dealing with idiots all day at work. Between that and getting pisssed off about my injury just added even more fuel to my shoulders workout. My appitite has offically returned to its full potential as well. My current body weight as of this morning was 167 lbs with a shirt and tie on. My over all goal is to get up to 180 lbs by Christmas.

Sides: Appitite & libido is elevated but that is a usual side for me lol. After my workout I wanted to eat everything I could. I had two double mexican pattys and two sausage pattys on the grill, a scoop of oats, 2 scoops of whey and a half of water melon lol.

Warm Up:

I was a little bit pissed after my first exercise but was right back in the zone once I started to shrug. That is the first exercise I have done that as returned to my normal strength. It was defn a self esteem boost for sure. My workouts should return back to my normal routine come next week. I am currently not doing as many exercises as I usually do in order to ease myself back into the swing of things. It's almost go time gentlemen!!!!!!

These songs came on last night in the gym while I was shrugging. Between this song and my workout partner yelling in my ear "SHUT UP AND F*CKING GROW, SHRUG THAT F*CKING WEIGHT, BE YOUR COMPETITIOR'S NIGHTMARE, WILL YOU LET THEM BE BETTER THAN YOU" really gave me that extra push to bang them out and set the pace for the rest of my workout.

After that workout I can really feel my aggression, drive and intensity returning to normal. This is what its all about gentlemen. Coming from a guy that was 5"4 & wrestled at 112 lbs my senior year in highshool, 125 lbs in college and now almost 170 lbs years later. I have always worked harder to be better than my competition. This is what drives me to bang out that extra rep, throw on that extra weight, and not take no for an answer. My quetion today is what drives you?

UPDATE

AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Slammed out a solid session!!!!!!!! This new gym has defn grown on me. I ran into some more of my old meat head buddies I haven't seen in years again last night. We put in a Killswitch Engage CD on the stereo and cranked the volume up. The intensity through out the entire gym was insane. There were a handful of guys in there we didn't know and they all made the comment of how intense the atmosphere was!!!!

My workout was pretty good. I still kept it decently light and focused on a lot of hammer curls and hammer curl variations to strengthen the tendons as advised by my trainer. My elbow is feeling better and does get a little bit sore but I can tell it is defn getting better.

Warm up:

15 mintues of stretching

Hammer curls sets of 10 with 25 lbs

Standing Straight Bar Curls: 10x65, 10x65

Workout, Bi's & Light Tri's:

Seated Hammer Curls: 10x45, 5x55, 5x55, 5x55, 5x50

Over Head Curls w/ Cables: 10x55, 10x65, 10x65

Standing Inner & Outer Hammer Curls: 8x25, 8x25, 8x25

Standing Reverse Curls: 10x40, 10x40 10x40 (super slow to isolate the muscle)

Today and tomorrow will be off days but I will be making my trip to Power Lifting practice on Sunday morning to do some shirt work. I am so f*ckin pumped to throw my shirt on its insane!!!!! Next week is going to be sick as well. Going to be teaming up with Tomahawk and doing a week of 2 sessions a day. Really looking forward for the opportunity to train with a fellow AM brother of ours. I am sure most of you will agree the us on AM are of a special breed!! You can bet there will be some videos and photos of our lifts posted in this log. :ntome:

UPDATE DAY 1

Ok gentleman its time to get this thing going again. I took a week off of work last week and didn't have access to the internet. Tomahawk made the trip up to Upstate NY from GA and trained with me for the week. I wasn't able to train as heavy as usual but I will defn be bumping up the weight this week and see how it goes. My elbow is not 100% but most of my natural strength has returned. Lets do this!!!!!!!!!!!

I incorperated the Cre02 & Critvol-ULTRA about 90 minutes before yesterdays workout. I did notice that I felt like I could have kept pounding out sets and had to take less rest in between sets too. Also had some great pumps. Looking forward to pound this cycle out.

Current Body Weight

Sides: Some loose stool from the Crituvol-ULTRA but nothing major. Libido spike but I am not complaining.

My newest thing for calories is to have a large Mcdonald's Tripple Thick Milk Shake. It has 570 calories lol.

Tonight will be my shoulders night and I am looking forward to shrugging some serious weight with one of my old workout buddies.

UPDATE DAY 2

Tore sh*t up last night in the gym. It was very hot in humid in that sh*t hole of a gym I have been working out in. I literally drank a gallon of water while there. I was in a terrible mood after work yesterday. It has been 90 deg and humid at my desk because the air conditioner unit is broken in my office. The longer I sit there and sweat the madder I become. It really fueled my workout though for some reason and it helped me set a PR.

- Current Body Weight 172 lbs

Sides: Loose stool again. My libido is way up. Just seems I can't get enough. lol

I was spent after this workout. My trainer gave me a brace for my elbow to add some support that I have been wearing while working out. It defn seems to help out a ton. When I get home and take the brace off I throw a bag of ice on it and enjoy a McDonald's Triple Thick Milk Shake lol.

I noticed again that I need to take less rest in between sets and it seems like I could keep pound sh*t out all night long. Even when I went heavy with my shrugs I still felt good. Tomahawk can tell you first hand that shrugs are my thing after we worked out last week.

I laughed when I was told this so I figured it would share it. When I was at the doctors last, he told me that my body weight and height according to his charts state that I am considered morbidly obese lol. He laughed of course as he knows what I am into and very cool about it. The doc said that for someone to be healthy at my height should be weighing in at 135 lbs. I looked at him and said "Doc, and I am only going to get bigger" lol!!!!!!!

Lets throw that libido into over drive!!!!!!

Joey, great to see you could join the party brother. I found this pic of you an I from what has to be 4 or 5 years ago now from what I believe was the "Naughty School Girl Party." :fest30: Bluenosebully is a personal friend on mine that finally made his way to the boards. He is defn no stranger to the game. Lets get him some reps to start him off right gentlemen. :thumbsup:

As for the Ragnarok. I took the sample that MST was kind enough to send me. MST's Ragnarok is a very solid product and imo very underrated. It is one of the better pre-workout products I have taken for sure. In the past I have taken No Xplode, Jack3d, Super Pump, Satur8 Rush along with quite a few others. I could feel the Ragnarok kick in within 15 mintues of taking it. I didn't get the shakes like I usually do with most pre-workout drinks. I did notice a nice lillte tingle in my chest and tri's from it but over all it added some serious intensity to my workout. I have ran some pre workout drinks in the past that didn't kick in until bed time lol. It wasn't the case with Ragnarok. I would love to run it for a solid week or so if MST would be so kind to shoot me some more samples :thumbsup:

I find I respond better to the jack3d when I take it sub. It maybe just me but I do notice a difference. I will let everyone know when I get some more Rag though for sure.

Ragnarok FTW!!!!!! Its anyone hasn't tried it yet I highly recommend picking some up and giving it a try. It is fairly inexpensive and works very well. You will not be disappointed.
