today was the first dosing of Lucidrol. They have it for a killer BOGO offer. First initial impressions are pretty positive. I took it fasted, and it is stim free, so I wasn't expecting any kick. However, I was looking for extra to do this morning. Don't know if it was me just being pissed because I was supposed to do legs, or the Lucidrol giving me the extra focus etc..., or a combination. I think it is a combination with of 80-20 the 80 being me pissed off.
I ran out of Motivate, and I LOVED that stuff though!!! hopefully the Lucidrol can help fill the void until I can convince Pem to send me about 10 more sample packets!!! lol

Adrenaline does have a way of motivating things. I went thru a bottle of Motivate and definitely think it is an awesome product. You can tailor your dose size to how motivated you need to be.
 
Man AG I am sorry to hear about the knee. DW said it right, that's what you getting for being tough and constantly keeping the intensity sky high. We are our own worst enemies sometimes. Here's to hoping things turn out to be minor at the doctor on Monday; thinking about you big guy and way to get those shoulders in amongst all the turmoil.
 
totally agree. I only had a weeks sample back and played with the dosages... I am hooked on the stuff. I could use just 2 pills AM and get through work like it was nothing, or bump to the max 2 AM and 2 Afternoon and I would have focus and motivation for the rest of the day and would treat the family to some AG home cooking of some Chicken Parmesan on homemade wheat pasta with homemade whole wheat (ground my ME that evening) dinner rolls and steamed veggies on the side, that would make you droll (like I am doing just thinking about it!!!). My wife and kids sure notice the difference!!!! lol

thanks my aquatic friend!!! wish I could have got the 90's up today for the shoulder press, but I do the knee push to get them up and I was tearing up like a 6 year old school girl getting chased by a barracuda on roids!! Man I wish I lived near you and Kleen!!!

Ask yourself that in about 4-6 weeks when the forecast here is 95 everyday with humidity of 75% or above... it's no picnic. But yes, we would gladly have you and the big family down here in TX!
 
No worries, AG...you'll be back with a VENGEANCE!!! Just be smart about this. You never know, this may be a blessing in disguise. It's an opportunity to be more in tune with your upper body...look at it that way. But I will definitely keep you in my prayers.

Today going to have a BBQ, relax a bit, perhaps walk around the block at a decent pace, based off DW's cardio recommendations on his great log... who knows... might even throw some pushups and stuff in the mix throughout the day...

That will involve the lats and traps more engaging the larger muscles of the back will burn a lot more calories than doing the work with your arms and shoulders.

This is all I found on it.

Ripped Juice Extreme is very effective. I bought it on the advice of a nutrition expect and bodybuilder and his advice was to take Ripped Juice Extreme (in capsule form which is sold right next to the Ripped Juice Extreme in liquid form) and it is very effective.
1) My appetite is VERY decreased while on Ripped Juice Extreme. It is very effective in controlling your appetite.
2) I began using this product about 4 months ago after I had completed a cycle on Trenadrol/Epistane. I did a PCT using Novadex and Anabolic Signal and wanted to cut after my bulking cycle. So far I have gone from 208 lbs to 183 lbs using Ripped Juice Extreme in combination with a CLA Tonalin and L-Carnite.
3) Occasionally, to ramp up the effects, I have taken 2 Ripped Juice Extreme capsules at breakfast, 2 at lunch and instead of taking 2 again at dinner time, I take 1 Ephedrine with breakfast along with the RJE capsules.
I am extremely satisfied with this product.

2/2 was awesome and incredible when I used the bottle I bought after the samples ran out :P

Lucidrol is pretty awesome, IMO for stim free you can't get beat it

Hard to believe that I have been dosing the PM for this long. Have this week to go and then will hit my review.
Had a great Mother's day. Spent 3 hours in the kitchen yesterday morning starting at 6am and the food was to die for... homemade from scratch everything. Can you say Chef Extraordinaire??? Needless to say... tons of carbs were eaten, after all .... I had to make sure the food wasn't bad!!! :lmao:
So, today's lift started a bit slugish... going to be hitting the water hard, checking the logs of my fellow brothers in Iron, and then heading to the DR for that dreaded appointment on the knee.
The Lift

Flat BB Bench: Warmed up with 135x20 - 225x10
Then decided to switch the grip around a bit. I have long arms, but think I am using too much tricep in this lift. I have the middle finger on the "ring" but moved it out to my thumb plus an inch. As you can guess, the numbers dropped significantly because of the isolation, also had to wrap the wrist for these.
275x8-4-1 (13) and then 225x8 - 135x15

35's x 10 did that 3 times and could barely move!!!

ok guys the results are in. After 2 hours at the Dr, and they weren't pleasant ones either, they told me that my left meniscus is completely torn up... again. On the 5th of May 2008 the army doctors in GA went in and sewed the thing all up... the Dr. here said that it was a bad job and never really got fixed..., which explains why I have crappy range of motion and terrible knee pain all the time. The surgery is set for July 26th, after I get back from LDAC (an Army school. Think Basic training for college kids. I am an adviser there to torture the cadets) I could have done it now, but I need to finish the Pink and do a sponsored log for AI next.
In the meantime I have been told to stop squatting and running. He said I can do deads as much as the knee can handle. and other lower weight leg exercises.
 
Sorry to hear there is more damage to your knee but at least this time it will hopefully be repaired properly. Take care of it in the mean time and stay thirsty my friend.

That really freaking sucks...stupid docs not doing the job right the first time around. WTF!

Anyway good lifting despite the messed up knee. Lets hope you get a worthwhile surgeon to fix you up properly this time around. We need to get you crushing soem squats ASAP!

not only does that count but you may have inadvertently impregnated your doc with said hold.

hey man, had a few pages to catch up. sorry to hear about the bum knee. fingers crossed hopin that these quacks dont fack up your knee. a close friend of mine has gone through about 5 knee surgeries on both her knees (2 on one, 3 on the other) so i'm hopin that everything goes for the best. in the meantime, sounds like you're bulkin your upper body like Lt Dan!

did a little walking on the treadmill this morning. Was going to swim but there was a senior citizen convention in the pool. all lanes full at 0515 in the morning!!! So walked for 50 minutes on hills at an easy pace and still burned over 600 cals. not bad.

I wish!!!! there are still snow on these here mountains. just on the treadmill. Used the following settings:
Pace: 4
Elevation: 15
Setting: Hill
weight: 230
age: 36
with cool down it was like 605 or something.
 
How does the knee feel on the tread? Have you noticed any further effects of PM?

well with the cortisone shot, it wasn't that bad... but I know I need to take it easy.

initial taste - kind of chocolaty... kind of odd because I was waiting for the PB
2 seconds after taste- this was when the PB kicked me, and it was nice and smooth. Tasted almost like drinking a overpriced high-end club drink. Was VERY impressed with the flavor
Also, I dosed 1 scoop with water - tasted great
2 scoops with Raw whole milk (from our local farmer) - taste was to DIE for!!! would drink it this way recreationally!!! I have got to try it as a frozen drink as well.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
 
Im using the choc lipo protein from LG, and im a big fan.
-Be careful with those cortisone shots. I have mounds of scar tissue in my AC joints from having my shoulders shot up in college on game day.

I resemble that remark! Hey the doc I sent you to WILL give you a shot if you need it. I am about to ask if he will give me one last one while I am actually not working it out to see if it will heal faster.
 
unfortunately the Doc said it will take a full week for mine to really kick in... there were some local numbing agents in it to give temporary relief, but mostly those just made the knee feel very... odd... sort of like Met surrounded by hotties...

I don't know where that all came from, but it was the best back and bis lift I have had in weeks!!! Other than my form on the bent over rows, which probably wasn't THAT bad, I was completely pumped!!! :fing02:

Thanks bro. Almost back to form on those. Was happy to get the 70's up again. Once I hit the 80's range I will be pretty happy.
I wish I had a workout partner like yours!!! lol my wife just hits the cardio gym bunny circuits. We are there at the same time, but... My old lifting partner from Iraq was the strictest prick out there when we lifted, but it gave me great habits. I think he would have killed me had he seen my form on those last few today. 225 is pretty heavy though... nowhere near what Cleetus does, I think he hit in the 300's last week. The guy is a beast
