haha, NICE! in 16 years of marriage I can honestly say that I have never been on the couch!! besides, they are all too short for my long legs anyways!!
On a side note, the back of my bad knee was swollen the last few days. This is new for me. Even before the surgery I never had swelling BEHIND the leg????!!!! I think I twisted it a bit on my hike through the mountains Monday and it has been a pain ever since. I have legs tomorrow, so I took the day oof from cardio today. Thoughts from the crew out there????
If your knee is swollen, especially in the back (odd place that's for sure!), I would take it really easy tomorrow. I would not do any leg press or squats that's for sure. Obviously you have some fluid or swelling in the joint and that's not going to feel too hot if you are trying to put 500 pounds on it. I would look at some indirect leg movements like extensions (if they don't irritate you), leg curls, calf work, SLDLs etc... If my knees bother me I always give them an extra day off or will do like I described above, seems to keep the swelling from increasing and sometimes it helps it go away. Always been an advocate of active recovery from injuries like such, getting the blood flowing around the joint won't hurt if you're smart about what you are doing. Also, if this is your rebuilt knee, I would be doubly careful. You don't want to damage it again!!!!!!!!!
