Thunder, I went to a SPLIT HOLY SHIT can you believe it and man I am loving it. The body craves change and the slow reps need more volume than I was giving them before.

I need to go check that out too. I'm plotting something new for when I go on. Right now I'm on upper/lower circuits that I mixed w/ dedicated muscle days. So instead of doing full body circuits, I have, say, a chest and back day. On that day, I'll go through 3-4 circuits, 3 sets each, comprised of 4 exercises including a heavy compound lift for each target group (in this ex. chest, then back), then a lower body compound like deads or DB squats, then an iso move for the target group (ie: a flye for chest). The idea being, this would allow me to preserve muscle mass while turning my lifting sessions into HIIT sessions. It's grueling, and I actually feel a little bit of dread every time I walk into the gym for one of these, because by the end I feel like I'm at the point of puking. But damn does it seem to work.

For the new split while on cycle, I'm thinking of maintaining that scheme for 2 days weekly to complement my regular HIIT cardio, because I really like how it's helping me lean out. And complementing that w/ 2 more lift days, doing standard dedicated days of normal set schemes (probably a chest/back day and a shoulder arms day), focusing on heavy lifting and intensity techniques, like drops and rest-pauses.

Decline Machine Presses--120X12, 240X10, 300X8, DC Rest-Pause Set: 440X8-4-2=14 total reps. Immediate drop to 320X14 grueling tough reps!! I love this heavy stuff. No more light sissy weights. A DC Rest-Pause set going immediately into a drop set.......oh Hel yes!!! :smite:

Pec-Deck Flyes--100X12, 200X15, 220X12.
Incline Machine Presses--160X10, 320X12, 320X11. This is so freakin' hard. You have to really summon the power for the compound set after going all out on the isolation set. The pecs are already fried after the pec-deck flyes, and then you gotta hit up the incline presses immediately. You have to dig down deep for that shit!! :yup:

High Incline DB Flyes--30'sX12, 60'sX14, 60'sX14. I must say that I even surprised myself to do so many reps on the db flyes after hitting up the crossovers. My pecs were really swollen and gorged with blood following this activity!! :shocked: Veins running across my delts.....oh yeah.

TRICEPS

2 Hand Behind Head DB Extensions--40X12, 70X10, triple drop set: 130X12>90X13>60X15. Very intense stuff. The lactic acid burn was absolutely searing at this point. :firedevil:

Reverse-Grip Pushdowns--80X12, 150X12, 130X13.

I'm going at it full-bore now. No holding back at all. I don't know how much more poundage I can squeeze out of this run, but I'm not going to limit myself either physically or psychologically. The weight increases here on out will be adding those cute little 2 and 1/2 lb. plates to up the resistance.

Sweat, sweat, sweat. Dripping like rivulets of rain down a mountain side. Melting the remaining fat off my Asgardian hide. Getting all kinds of lean now. Veins, striations, cross-striations, and muscle separation becoming sharper and sharper everyday.

I ran into a guy (very well-built) that I hadn't seen in like 3 months. He said, "Damn dude, you're really getting big now. And lean." I told him that I've been hitting it hard lately. It's nice to get compliments like that. It fuels the fires of determination and discilpline!!!:firedevil:

Seated Arnold DB Presses--30'sX12, 50'sX10, triple drop: 85'sX12>55'sX14>35'sX15. Oh what blessed pumps!!:hail: My delts were thoroughly engorged with growth-inducing blood. I was most surprised to get 14 reps with the 55's after hitting up the 85's for 12 reps. My recovery borders on the incredible on this cycle!! :saeek:
Upright Cable Rows--60X12, 100X10, triple drop: 180X12>130X12>90X14. On that lightest 3rd drop, I was bringing the bar way up to my forehead to get some peak contractions on my delts. Especially the medial delts.
TRI-SET ACTION: all 3 exercises are done back to back with NO rest allowed between any of them.
One-Arm Bentover Cable Rear Laterals--30X10, 60X11
One-Arm Cable Side Laterals--30X10, 40X11
One-Arm Cable Front Laterals--30X10, 40X10.
I was going to do another round of this tri-set but my delts were ridiculously blowed up by now!! I could hardly even move them to do stretches!! :fool2:

QUADS

2 light sets of leg extensions to warm-up: 150X15, 150X15.

Machine Squats--150X15, 220X12, 320X10, 470X11 drop to 350X12. It's so brutal to do a drop set after a compound move like squats or deads. It just really taxes you to the maximum.
Seated Leg Presses--250X15, 400X12, 710X14 drop to 500X26. A 10lb. increase from last week, I'll damn sure take it!! :yup:
PRE-EXHAUST ACTION:
Leg Extensions--100X15, 170X22, 170X21
DB Squats--40'sX10, 80'sX10, 80'sX10. This was a great combo to finish off the quads. Fierce contractions to be sure!! :twisted:

HAMSTRINGS

Stiff-Legged Deadlifts--130X12, 225X10, 275X8, 380X11 drop to 275X12. No need for a third drop. This is just simply brutality at its finest!! :aargh:
Standing One-Legged Hamstring Curls--40X12, 70X10, triple drop: 135X11>90X12>60X15. This really blew up da hammies!! Nice and full. Swollen with blood.

CALVES

Seated Machine Calf Raises--200X20, 300X15, 410X22, 410X21. And this was all they needed. Felt so heavy and good. Nice controlled movements with slow contractions and squeezes at the top.

I tore right through this battle with rage, anger, and intense aggression.
