My Epic Recomp Adventure with a CEL Double Tap!

You can also try not going as low until you're used to it. I also stretch before and do light stretches inbetween sets. That sucks about only having one rack. My gym has only one power rack and one squat rack. It got frustrating waiting for it to open up sometimes. I ended up going to Gold's Gym and loved the increased amount of equipment and just all around better choices and selection. Plus the separate room with just squats and deadlift stuff is pretty cool too!

My gym used to have seperate rooms also but they gave one to the massage therapist

....I apologize for not following at BB right now but i was sent to camp

King,
cool pic with the straps :head:

I do tons of warm ups with SLDL just like you said. Also, I use a slight bend in my knees and still get to squeeze my hams super hard. I personally think the ham focus is stronger with a slight bend in the knees vs. with completely straight legs :AR15firing:

Day 55 (Late last night)

P-Stanz at 250 mg

Pre-Workout
Just one scoop of Maximize

Intra workout
IntrAbolic with LG BC+EAA's

Post-Workout
XF UP 2.0 and some pretzels

The Workout

Here's what I did:

Bench Press:
8x135
5x235---> I didn't have my spotter so I went down a little in weight to be safe.
6x250---> Last set felt good so I grabbed some dude to spot me and decided to go for it. Tied my PR of last year!
3x255 PR! I added 5 lbs and decided to push it. I did 5 reps but spotter had to help on the first and last one so I didn't count those.

Rack Pulls:
10x135
7x225
8x315 ---> did this and all previous sets without any straps.
8x405 ---> used my Vera Gripp straps
5x455 PR! I was feeling it tonight! I had some big dude doing calf raises next to me who kept looking at me as I did these. :D I was very impressed with the Versa Gripps on this set. Didn't budge at all, I like them even better then the hooks.

Pull-Ups:
9xBW (body weight at ~206)
9xBW (parallell grip)

Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs:
6x180
5x200 (MAX stack weight)

HS Iso-lateral Rows:
6x400 ---> Added 40 pounds since the last time I did these a few weeks ago. I definitely have to drop some of the weight down to get the better focus on my back.
6x185 Single Arm

High Cable Rows (FreeMotion):
8x160
5x180

Because I was unable to do my arm and shoulder workout earlier this week, I threw a few sets in at the end.

I did shoulder press, dips, preacher curls, tricep push downs, shrugs, and delt flyes.
The cool part was on the standing cable tricep push downs. Before, I could do the entire stack (200 lbs), but I could only do a few reps. Last night, and after all the heavy lifting I had just done, I tried it again. I got 15 reps at the max 200 load! Felt good to see such great progress.

Cardio
Forgot my swim stuff so I did some HIIT on the Row machine.

NOTES:
I went to my gym (Gold's) last night at around 9:20 pm. I only took one scoop of Maximize as my pre WO cause I didn't want to stay up all night! I got to the gym and it was closed! I called them and it went to a recording which stated that they were open to 10:00 pm, I still had 40 minutes. They had been adversting a new closing time of midnight but obviously that wasn't in effect yet, but they were still closed early. So I had to go to 24 hour. Might as well use the membership I still got with them!

Half way through my workout, I noticed that I had ridiculous pumps, especially in my arms. I usually don't get a whole lot but it was crazy last night. The workout felt great and I'm very happy with my results and that I was able to push up my bench and rack pulls even more. I'm loving this stack! Just sad that it's almost over. BTW, the Versa Gripps worked great and I was actually impressed with them.

SIDES:
Dandruff? Nothing else.

Video of the day, Friend Like That by Hawk Nelson

Stretching 'til I could touch my heels bending over with my legs straigth locked, and stiff leg deadlift from there worked wonders on the whole backside of my legs :p

//CC

Yeah my flexibility sucks so a few good warm up sets after stretching helps.

My gym used to have seperate rooms also but they gave one to the massage therapist

....I apologize for not following at BB right now but i was sent to camp

lol, no worries! I followed your last post to the "g" thread and saw that it was deleted.

Screw it, see if CEL will sponsor you and put you on Pstanz HRT lol. It sucks that it has to end; just maintain your intensity through PCT.

Im sure CEL would be glad to sponsor KJ again once he's taken the appropriate time off:)

lol, tempting with such great gains and minimal sides! I mean just look at the strength I've gained with only 4 pounds lost and with a decrease in BF. Huge success!

Im sure CEL would be glad to sponsor KJ again once he's taken the appropriate time off:)

I have much love for CEL and their crew. They've been very good to me. Regardless, I always speak the truth about my cycle, as deception doesn't help anybody. Basically what I'm trying to say is, even though I greatly appreciate the generosity of CEL and respect their reps, especially mw1, I still keep my logs unbiased and as honest as possible.

nICE WORK BRUTHA!!! ALL good things must come to an end!! unless your in an induced state of Hedonism. . .which will only follow a state of blunder hahah. . . take the time with CEL'S PCT!!! I did a sponsored log with'm which you've popped your head into and its nice!!!

right on!

yeah, I know some dudes only post positive reviews but that does nothing for the industry or other consumers. I've had some...not so shinning reviews, but still had the decency to keep it professional! ;)

well my original pct was mainly based on 6-oxo but with the extended period of time that I've been on now, I'm thinking about doing clomid for the first 3 weeks of it.

The end is nigh :( ---Day 57---

P-Stanz at 250 mg

Pre-Workout
Maximize

Intra workout
None

Post-Workout
IntrAbolic with AI Recover Pro ---> Not a good tasting mix. Then a steak dinner! :)

Today wasn't very good but that was my fault...explained in note.

The Workout

Here's what I did today:

Bench Press:
8x135
2x250
1x245
4x225
ehck...got video of the 250 but it's not pretty, was still too sore. Will post vid if anybody want to see it.

SLDL:
10x135
6x225
8x225
6x315

Decline Bench Press:
Couldn't find a decline machine and was too sore to try bench so I tried cables. Didn't work too well.

Incline Nautilus (spl?) Press:
8x135
8x150
8x170
10x190
The ROM on these felt better then the HS but they also felt a bit easier.

HS Super Horizontal Calf Presses:
15x110 Way too light
25x200
40x290 Good burn!

Finished up with some Leg Presses, Hamstrings, and ab work.

Cardio
Eliptical

NOTES:
Well, I considered not going to the gym till tomorrow because I had just worked out late Saturday night, less then two days ago. I felt fine though so I tried it out. Yeah, I found out quick that I wasn't fully recovered yet! I decided to play it smart and not push it TOO hard.

SIDES:
Same ol'

So, considering my beginning of the year goal was to reach the 1k club by the end of 2010, I have gotten much closer with this cycle. My deads are at 355, bench at 255, and squats at 270, all for reps, not maxed. That puts me at 880 (980 if I substitute rack deads for SLDL's! :D). I've made some great progress so far!

AAHHHHH SNAP!!! GRATZ ON THE PROGRESS MAN!!! its very hard work that it takes to get there and you will sooner than lata!!! let the boys rest for a while and join the NATURAL Club for a while muahah!!! take it all in and KILL IT!!! MUHAHA!!

Going to keep going strong all through PCT and will continue the log through that at least. I should have my end cycle pics up this weekend. I'm definitely taking some time off PH's for a little while. My next natty stack is going to be ECA, LX, and TT-33 for some serious fat burning!

Day 61 (yesterday)

P-Stanz at 250 mg

Pre-Workout
Maximize

Intra workout
IntrAbolic

Post-Workout
shrimp and rice!

Tomorrow is my last day of the cycle! :( It has been a great run though. I will do post-pics, measurement, stats, and review in the next couple of days.

The Workout

Here's what I did:

Bench Press:
8x135
3x250 ---> Got video of this (see notes for details)
5x250
6x225

Rack Pulls:
10x135
7x225
5x315 ---> meh, grip failed
6x405

Pull-Ups:
6xBW (Wide grip)
12xBW (parallell grip)
8xBW (chin-up style)

Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs:
5x200 (MAX stack weight)

T-Bar Rows:
10x135
8x180
6x180
5x205

High Cable Rows (FreeMotion):
8x160
5x180

Bent-Over DB Rows:
8x80
6x80
Haven't done these in while but wanted to isolate my back a little more. Weight felt good but can definitely go up.

Then finished up with some light abs, leg press, and hamsting curls. The leg presses were cool, it was a Hammer Strength machine but it was independent legs.

Cardio
Basketball! Ah how I love to play this game...even if I do suck at it! I was drenched with sweat by the time I was done.

NOTES:
I got a video of my bench press but my spotter had to take the video, SOOOO, I didn't go down near as far as I usually do to keep from getting trapped under it or looking like a retard! :p I didn't count my first rep either cause I didn't go down very far. I'm at work and my camera is at home so I will edit this post and add the video later tonight.

I'm still debating about whether to use my clomid for pct or the 6-OXO. Even though this cycle was extended, I still feel like it was relatively mild as far as sides goes. I might try starting with 6-OXO and seeing how I repond and how well I recover, and then adjust as neccessary.

Sorry about the minimal updates this week, I had the rest of my mid-terms this week and had to focus on that.

SIDES:
Never really had too much to say here!

EDIT: Here's the video. Just remember that I did partial reps because I didn't have a spotter. I did do this on a self-spotting bench but it doesn't help lift, it just keeps the weight from going any lower so I can get out from under it. So here's it goes at 250 pounds.

King,
my personal opinion is that 6oxo is a bad choice for pct both in my own experience and on paper. I don't think it did squat for me in pct. And the independent study that I read didn't show any estrogen change at all.

At the same time, do you need clomid? Eh, I'm not sure that's the solution either. What if you ran something like a low dose of bromo, atd, or formestane in addition to maybe a 3 week clomid taper, or low dose clomid for 4 weeks. Something like that. I just get the feel that recovery is going to be pretty easy for this run.

Just my 2c

Thanks for the input! I agree that I think recovery is going to be pretty easy as well. I mean I don't even have noticable atrophy any more! That's why I was considering OTC. I ran 6-OXO before and had good recovery which is basically why I got it again for this cycle. So, my tentative plan I think will be 6-OXO, I3C, and a natty test booster (I got several on hand)! What cha think? I will also add in some Lean Xtreme later on in PCT for cortisol control.

I actually used 6 oxo with Pct Assist after my Pplex/Estane cycle with nice results. Strength/libido always go up with 6oxo~~~~man do i miss it:)

I would probably have used my clomid on that one, lol! Too bad they had to pull 6-OXO, it's getting pretty hard to find at a decent price. I got a couple bottles still so I'm set for awhile.

What cha think?

I think your plan is probably fine. At the same time, I like Geek's idea better.

The reality is that there probably won't be much consequence either way. Whichever choice you make, I believe that recovery will go smoothly for you based on your particular cycle.

Love the Videos man!!! i need to get some more video action in my posts!!! haha i will start tryin to see if i can have some ppl record me doing my 495 on friday

Id say is your using clomi there is no need for 6oxo. Clomi is awesome

Yeah, I agree that Clomid would be better, but not sure if I want to save for my next cycle which will be a little harsher then this one was.

I certainly hope so! I will be monitoring my recovery as best I can and will change things up if needed. I'm not opposed to trying something different if it works better.

This was one of the best cycles I have done and probably my favorite. It ended up being a 2 months P-Stanz cycle with 6 weeks of P-Mag. The results were much more drastic then the measurements indicate. I look and feel leaner.

Sides
I was very suprised with the almost non-existent sides. The only thing I noticed side wise was testicular atrophy, which was to be expected. The interesting part is that several weeks into my cycle even that dissipated and seemed to return to normal. Obviously there is no way of really telling this without blood work. But they no longer displayed an obvious atrophy. And that is the full extent of the sides. No back pumps, no damage on the hairline, no increase of blood pressure, no increase in acne, nothing!

Gains
I estimate a BF drop of about 2-3%. I will try to confirm this soon through the Dexa Machine. I look leaner and more vascular. My strength gains were very good. I hit several PR's thorughout the cycle. I finally got my bench back up to where it used to be and hopefully I can keep it from dropping again. My deads and rack pulls were also big gainers as well and was able to get multiple videos of these.

I also felt very good on cycle. I felt great in the gym and had plenty of energy to do all that I wanted to. I progressively improved throughout the cycle and was able to do more and more. I am obviously very pleased with this cycle and the results. Thanks again to CEL for the sponsor!

Congrats on your results and a BIG thanks for the detailed log and feedback through out the cycle:)

It was by far the best PH cycle I've done and the lowest of any cycle in terms of sides! Can't ask for more then that!

Nice work my friend!! NIce work!!! Hard work and solid training will get you fair. . .call me crazy but i think of myself as old school. . .train hard. . find great supps, eat right. . and your on a plan for success!!!

Hey King,

Good job, i've enjoyed following the log!

I haven't yet cause I ran out and had to pick up some more. I got a nice new bottle on my counter waiting for me so I will be sure to try it out now!

Thats good to hear. I appreciate the very well detailed log.

I enjoyed doing the log!

Today is day 12 of my PCT and everything is going great. My strength is maintaining and I've had good workouts. I've been doing 300mg 6-OXO Extreme and 400mg of BCS I3C.

How is libido and male function? (no details please, just normal or not LOL)

Any estrogenic symptoms? soreness etc?

How is libido and male function? (no details please, just normal or not LOL)

Any estrogenic symptoms? soreness etc?

LOL! Don't worry, no nasty details! My libido has been great. I'm actually suprised with how well its been. I don't have any noticable signs of increased estrogen. No bloat, no nipple sensitivity, ect.

I remember that with epistane (I think) I did have nipple sensitivity. I remember playing basketball and getting hit in the chest on my nipple and it felt like it exploded! I changed up my pct on that one and was fine. Basically, just saying that I have a comparison point and haven't noticed anything that would even slightly worry me so far.

I'm still hitting the gym just as hard and often. I have written everything in my log so if anybody wants me to continue to log them I will.

Great update :) Glad to hear everything is going well in PCT.

//CC

Week 3 of PCT started a few days ago on Sunday (Easter). I added in a couple things so it now looks like this:

-6-OXO 300mg
-BCS I3C 400mg
-DS Lean Xtreme for cortisol control
-Cellucor P6 ---> natty test booster

-Cellucor R3 ---> this is just for joint health and recovery

Everything has been going great so far with nothing adverse to comment on.

I also just bought a Body Solid Power Rack and a 1200 lbs capacity barbell for my home gym.
