1. DNP- was open for sale and was removed; not through lack of consumers but due to health risks. It's pretty much the standard in what people will do to achieve goals. However, neither one of us know for sure if it would or not but I still believe people wouldn't be able to keep it stocked if it were legal again.


2. Slight difference between Audi and one of these typical supplements. For one, the business model with protections and such are not able to be compared(reference hiding things because of knock offs etc). Second, you don't need to know how everything works because of the standards and watchdog groups and proven mechanical, technical and environmental aspects. With these supplements you have none of this. You have a lot of guess work with no real way of varifying anything and with such a small market in comparison you don't have the level of scrutiny associated with it.


Again, for the full retard seats, you have to provide a level of interest and responsibility in your health that you wouldn't have to do with most other purchases in your life because of how this particular industry works and obviously accepted. 9 out of 10 times if your car tire explodes it isn't going to be deadly. If your heart explodes there's a good chance you're done...

You say it's the business' fault 100% and the consumer is free from responsibility on taking unregulated and in most cases unknown ingredients into the body for the sole purpose to elicit a unnatural response.

I say it's the company's fault for putting these products out without properly researching their product and making sure quality control is in place and proper testing has been done on human test subjects AND the consumer is at fault because they should know the inherent risks in taking a product with little more than a promise, a smile,brief references and some user logs. Some people are more at fault than others (addressing those following label directions over those overdosing).

At this point I don't think either of our opinions/stances will change but I will say this...This isn't the first time this has been an issue since my arrival on the supplement scene and it damn sure won't be the last. How long has it been since the ALRI situation??

1. Thats fine and your certainly entitled to your beliefs, sure the early adopters et al will buy and cause a frenzy but given the bad rep DNP now has even in the more serious circles over a sustained period of time, i cant agree with you it would sell like "hot cakes".

2. Then we are on the same page, or in the same book at least, my penultimate point being regulations, industry standards and watchdogs needs to be implemented and if they are they are clearly failing.

3. Poor analogy, the tyre is hardly as integral to the car as the heart is to the human body. I'll leave that one alone.

4. Agreed to a point, however what are we supposed to do? Check every polymer of everything we consume? At some point there has to be an event or such that evolves into a critical mass leading to an industry regulated to the 'nth' degree if this is the risks we are taking by believing in reps, owners, sponsors etc. If i go to a supermarket and buy a new energy drink for example, what i dont expect is to find out 3 months later that it contained 50mg of ephedrine, should i have had it tested before hand? Bare in mind, it has taken qualified chemists to bring this to the attention of the masses not Joe average doing his pubmed research on the 4,365 compounds listed on the SX label, not to mention the "secret blend".

5. I agree, there has been many incidents, the span and impact of the current situation will of course depend on the findings of approved bodies. If there is a compound in SX that is proven to be toxic to your cardio vascular system you and I can only imagine the ripple effect it would have, especially within your (US) current administration.


Once again id like to re-iterate, my supplement intake has been low to non-existent for many years, i foolishly trusted the "authorities" of a trusted company and for that i hope the price is not too hefty long-term. Ignorance is not a defence, then again neither is the potential inclusion of a dangerous substance, regardless if it was done consciously or not.

And again for the record, i did not overdose, the label and reps said 5 caps as a dose would be fine if worked up to and my body would eventually tolerate the compounds and id get the clean energy the majority seemed to be getting. It did not turn out that way, live (hopefully) and learn i guess.

Are you serious? Some one told you you could take 5 caps of Slim X or Stim X?
 
Though this product has been great for me, I think my brain would explode if I took 5.
 
i have taken 3 in a day many times working 3rd shift 12 hour days, but never more than 2 at one time.

Two of the bottles I have in my possession now recommend up to two doses per day of 1-3 caps per dose - meaning as many as six per day.

The other two bottles I have say do not exceed 2 caps per day.

The boxes that all four bottles came in say do not exceed 2 caps per day.

Just FYI.

Never used Stim X, yes Slim X.

Multiple parties told me and it was on the labels of the original batch V1. When people start emitting signs of psychosis it tends to grab peoples interests, labels are changed, threads are burried etc.

Lesson learned though, a lot more research will go in to the profile of the supplement i take and also into dosing protocol, no more early adoption for me :wink1:
 
Guys, just to let you know, I have a very large project starting up at work that will take most of my attention. I will check in from time to time to address any issues if I am capable. You have my word that if anything new developes, I will be here to let you know.

Damn! So, you're saying that two of the boxes contradict what two of the bottles state?

Two bottles state to take 2 doses of 3 caps max? And two boxes say do not exceed 2 caps per day..............slap me silly....wtf is going on? That is a serious and potentially dangerous oversight.

two bottles inside of two boxes have different directions in comparison to the box that they are packaged in.

It's as if they packaged two bottles in the wrong box.
 
I've read elsewhere that previous versions of SX had different proprietary blends (450 and 500mg IIRC), as well as different dosing protocols. I'm not sure it it applies to this situation though.

when they first took the aniracetam out the labeling on the bottle didn't match the bottle. i started a thread on another forum about that. an ax rep replied that nothing had changed, then later confirmed that formula had been changed.
 
Anyone that called me out in my complaint thread about this stuff ~5 weeks ago can shove it. I know my body, I knew this stuff wasn't what it said.

Many of the AX Reps (not Jim) recommended that some take two at a time; the same ones flamed some for taking two. Seems to be pretty conflicting suggestions, in my opinion.

apparently, the recall of the product was a direct consequence of these test results.

the fact that they stopped production way before having done these "tests" suggests that they did know very well what was going on.

Such a designer stimulant doesn't appear in a product by chance. someone must have put it there someone must have paid to get it in there. and someone (=the guy who wrote the labels) did a hell of a job by inventing a way to trick people to believe they are taking "proline".

Doubtful mate.

I work for a global firm and any time we have such issues e.g. a compound has caused an elluergic reaction in 0.3% of purchases in the last 6 months, we HAVE to do a total product recall of that line.

I say 0.3% because that's the figure i'm dealing with at the moment with a product, our legal time advised us (after 6 hours) nothing short of a recall of the line would suffice under the corporate manslaughter act that governs us internally as well as externally (to an extent).

That said in this case i simply cannot believe those working closely with the development of this blend do not know what was contained, unless of course its developed by an eastern factory and shipped over to save costs, either way though a quality team should have been dispatched before first run to monitor such things.

The whole HPx2 had been figured and done with over 3 weeks ago....the fda said that they mistakenly included "tren" on the writeup but has since removed it.
 
I havent read all of the posts so flame me if this is a retread of something that has already been said, but I have to take you guys to task that are all of a sudden up in arms about whats in these "supplements". Correct me if im wrong, but arent 90% of you guys on here trying to find the latest pro-hormone, analogue, or whatever that is going to give you the same effect as pinning test, or taking Clen and T3/4? I mean seriously, what do you tards think is in this stuff? Some new magic compound? I read these logs and you guys are putting your hearts, livers, and testicles through ****ing woodchippers; and all for what? Lets be honest, your all trying to take the short way home. So if you really are looking for someone to blame, look in the mirror. Regardless of what is on the label, if it makes you feel like ur on Ecstasy, do you really think its the maca or horny goats ass herb thats in it. You know what acts like Juice and Clen, JUICE AND CLEN YOU MORONS! Why do you think AX, IBE, and these other hole in the wall companies arent all bigger than MT, EAS, and ON combined? If I-Force found the secret compound that made you huge with no effect on your balls they would rule the supplement world, and if AX found the secret fat loss pill that made your fat dissapear, they would be on Oprah and Dr OZ. For cryin out loud, what did you freaks actually think you were taking? You knew some crazy **** was in those bottles, you just looked the other way while you stimmed your heart into oblivion, or shrunk your nuts into raisins. Everyone is trying to buy a compound that mimics juice, clen, or thyroid modulators. At the end of the day, are any of you suprised that your Heartcrusher stimulant had meth spiked in it? Or your supermassblaster 5000 pill had tren in it? Thats what you all wanted anyway and there's only one real way to get there, so you all got it and now its a huge issue. Well, I guess my answer to this would be what Ive been saying all along. When people were saying they were up for days and losing 10 pounds a minute on SX you bought it. What did you really think was in there? Why are you on a "underground" site that has GH and Juice forums right next to the "designer-superclenlike-testblaster-ghsecreater-anadrolanalogue" companies? You want to get juice or clen without having to deal with the police.

Try this analogy:

When u go see David Copperfield make the Statue of Liberty dissapear you cheer when he's done, cause you wanted to see it. When you found out he used mirrors and other trickery do you cry and say you were lied to? Even though you know in your heart-of-hearts that there is no way he really could have done it, unless he used the mirrors?
