Christines..pull away the food spree cut!

I bought a bar of Java Lather and it just came into today. Just had to tell you how much I love the smell! It is absolutely scrumptious!

Leg day today was more cardio intensive. She decided that since I'm not sure if the O is in my future and I've done zero dieting that I need fat burning more than muscle building..lol

I have agreed to it since I had a competitor ask me if I would do figure or womens bb. I figure I can lose muscle and still be fine .:)

We started with single legged squats for 10 per leg and 4 sets.

Then we did 10 per leg on step ups supersetted with 20 pop squats for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 per leg on the butt blaster kneeling kick back machine supersetted with standing bent over curls for 6 reps per leg and 4 sets.

Then we did walking dumbell zig zag lunges half way across the gym, then we stopped and did 10 straight legged deads and stood up and did zig zag lunges the rest of the way for 4 sets.

Then we did 15 rep leg extensions for 4 sets.

Then we hit 3 diff exercises for 25 reps per machine on calves.

I came home and did 20 min of cardio alternating between sprints and incline treadmill.

I'm going to do some bodyweight ab exercises as well.

^^^This is what I need to be doing now (and trying to get into training is really hard right now; I am struggling with fatigue so bad, almost like I was last year with the Chronic Fatigue). I would love to lose some muscle in my legs :sigh: Anyways, let's hope that we will both be on track and getting what we want...Not sure if I will make it to the O this year now either...I am going to start doing something different re training and see if that works...

I am having severe fatigue issues as well as bad migraines. I was actually so sick to my stomach before I trained that I thought I would not make it.

For the fatigue I'm using PLCAR and the headaches, well not much I can do there. I actually wake up tired and want to sleep by 2pm..not a happy thing.

We can do it though!

I never noticed before that you are only 5'1" rosie. Just never caught my eye on your profile, and your pics are solo so no indicator of scale. nifty!

I'm still raring to go for the O, counting down to the last 4 weeks to start an aggressive diet again. hovering at 207ish today with a so/so 4 pack if I flex hard

I think I'm going to have to do a serious diet, just in case!

Thats awesome on the abs Eric!! You have to be excited. I need to kick it in to gear!!

yeah, I'm actually thinking that i'll make my goal in my timeframe :) that would be a first. Actually, i'll be way heavier than I expected at this leanness, I was expecting to be down into the low 190s or upper 180s to look like this :D

I thought that the fatigue issues were from the new AN product that I am beta testing. Changed dosing/timing of some supplements as well as that product, so fingers crossed that those issues will go away. Otherwise not sure what it is.

I am also having trouble motivating myself to do anything (NOT good).

Yes, we CAN do it. I keep repeating that to myself (not doing a lot right now) and if I say it enough maybe it will kick my arse into gear. I honestly miss training like a machine!

Yeah, I'm all of 156.6 cm tall, Eric

I would like to go, but since I may be in the US longer than planned and I'm not a finalist in the FLEX Bikini Model Search, then it's not such a big deal if I don't make it (there's always another time). It would be an awesome experience though (and I WILL make it to Vegas sometime in the next year).

The Olympia is a very humbling experience. When you are standing next to the top competitors with diet on par and the best training it really lets you know what you need to do to be the best.

But it can also be a fun kind of romantic relaxing place to just have fun and eat and just enjoy being there.

metrics always confused me :)

its funny but find some shots of both Jeff + Don in posing gear. If there is nobody else in the picture with them, you'd never guess their height difference.

Yeah, to really get anywhere (or probably to be 'happy' with myself) I will have to get diet conquered and not just rely on training to carry me through. After all, it's the LITTLE things that make or break anything. And I can no longer let myself 'get away' with anything anymore to get anywhere...

Oh stomach sickness, during my trip I had the worst stomach bug I ever picked up. Waited 5 days, didn't clear, and took 3 full days of antibiotics before I started feeling better. Thank god for Immodium (lomotil).

I hear you on the sleep thing; luckily I don't start class until Monday, so I'm just bumming it and gym/sleep/going out. However I *am* back in the gym. The first day was the best (well worst I suppose) DOMS in a year+. No training for a month then deads + squats + powercleans... oh man lol.

The dieting part isn't too bad; sure I miss the gelatos but back at home I'm quite disciplined. I'm running some EC (and AlphaBurn starting thursday) + PLCAR & ALCAR and a cortisol reducer. Oh and some peptides for fun. I've got 9 days until I've got to fit back into my dress pants, although I think I'm there already. I definitely won't make it to the O, but one day I hope to make it to the Arnold to meet up with some AM'ers.

PS Eric you could be my grandfather ;)

Ahhh DOMS I can still get those. Although the realtionship between a heavy or intense training day and DOMS seem to have no correlation. I do get them on alot of my leg days.

Its great you are back in the gym! School huh, Mine start school on the 25th and its up early for me then. I'm actually up early today to start the appts for back to school haircuts.

Diet, it depends for me on that. If I have the food I can blow out a comp diet easily. If its not here and we eat out then I eat pretty clean. However if I' need food and there is nothing here than I'll eat what I can find. ;)

I can't believe its already back to school time!

Well today was shoulder day

Today we did half free weights and half kettlebells.

It was enjoyable to mix it up and do something different. I really enjoyed the figure 8 kettle bells between the legs.

I'm just going to throw a back shot of me up here to try and shame christine into keeping her diet up :)

Not to get sidetracked, but damn Easy that's a big improvement. The last pics I recall seeing were problem 4 months ago, but nice job
I think I'd just shame me if I posted up some pics, give me another 2 weeks to finish cutting off the gelato-gut lol :)

Yea, I start on Monday :( Atleast I get another Orientation Week, so the real stuff doesn't start until the 31st and this is just partying & legal/administrative stuff for the program &hospital.

Never used kettlebells since none of the gyms I've gone to had them, but it's something I want to try.

Sorry its been so long. My laptop crashed and I just got it working..I hope!

Wow Eric! You are looking awesome!

:D I'd post a front shot but i'm feeling extra fat today. I'll save it for right before the O.

So outside of ressurrecting a laptop, what have you been up to c?

Keep up the great work my fellow AN comrade. You are definitely coming along nicely.

BTW...how ya doing C? :)

Cheers!

Hi Sean!!

Ok now that my schedule has changed it gives me more time for cardio. I have not been too serious with my diet and have concentrated more on the kids and seeing that all the back to school stuff was done. They have been in school since Tues.

My oldest has to get up at 6am and there is an hour between her leaving and getting the other 2 up for school. I think I'll sneal cardio in there to see if it helps me wake up. I have been consumed with chronic fatigue and getting up earlier is only making me a mess by training time.

I will do my second cardio after training. Although I would like to train during the day i'm not sure if I can make that happen with time.

my schedule is all in an uproar since school started. veronica is staying at home so far afterschool too, we'll see how that goes. saves me $200 a month to do that

Wow thats some good savings there! Hope it works out for you!

It is hard to adjust after they go back. I'm debating on the fairness of dragging mine to the gym at 6pm. They come home and do homework, get maybe an hour to play, go to gym, dinner and baths. They might get an hour in the evening as well.

Nats last class in the am is 9:45 and my last 2 kids leave at 8:30 so there is no other time to hit it.

Syliva (the 13 year old) asked yesterday about how long I spend at the gym and what time I get back mornings. School starts for her at 9, so she's interested in coming with me to start working out. As pretty as she is, like I need her to also have a fitness grade body :P

:) Well my 11 year old trains with me often. Its a good way to spend time and establish some good habits as well as give them the edge in sports.

Yeah, i'd have to just set her up a circuit on the machines and workout separately from her though. might start next week. I think LA Fitness had said that children 13-18 are free to come work out with you.

With Alyssa I have her do whatever I'm doing with alot less weight. If its a machine she does not fit then I have her do one next to it or bodyweight stuff on the floor next to me.

I skip the leg press for her with plates however will have her do the calve raise machine with plates next to me. I just use 25lb plates.

My gym will not allow her to train seperately due to injury increases. She would not be comfortable alone anyway..lol
But there are only a few machines that she does not fit on. It takes a little longer to take weights off for her. But I'll use dumbells more often.

Hmm yea. I'm doing DC training right now, so its super hardcore. I suppose I could have her do the same exercises though, and more normal sets of them. Or work on the machine/bench next to me

I would say that sounds pretty good. i know my daughter has trained with Natalie and although she has her do light weights, she has to do the same sets and reps as me. But she does not do it anymore because it was too much for her.

If you push Alyssa to far she does not want to train. So I try to keep it good for her. I only get to train her on days I choose to train alone which are far between now.

Well I managed to sneak in 20 min of cardio on the treadmill. Time will tell if there will be any after training.

im sitting in the car riders lane to pick up veronica right now and realized that it would both be faster an an excuse for 20 min cardio in the afternoon if i just took the bike and trailer to get her instead

Today was back day

We started with wide grip pulldowns for 15 reps x 4 sets.

Then we did 4 sets of narrow grip reverse grip pulldowns for 15 reps x 4 sets.

Then we did 35lb bent over rows for 15 reps x 4 sets.

Then we did 15 rep 4 set traditional dumbell deadlifts.

Then we did a triple set of low rows for 10 reps, hyper extensions for 10 reps and v ups for abs for 10 reps.

I also did 15 more min of cardio right before I trained due to time.

Very cool workout log. First, if you avatar is you, I must say...very nice. No disrespect inteded. :)

Second, when you say "we did...", who is "we"? lol

Very impressive workout!

NICE.......my golds made us pay for my son and daughter (12 and 14)
My son has to be with me until he is 13.

In talking to them today it looks like they want $10 a month for her to come, but the girl who works the front desk weekday mornings said its ok if I bring her a few times to see if she'll actually stick to it first :)

LOL yes that was me in the avi for the Olympia last year.

I train with a pro trainer and sometimes a few other people in her group. So thats who we is ;)

I will be training arms on either Sat or Sun since Matt hurt his back and has been sleeping ALLLLLLL day!

I intend to get some cardio in though :)

I'm so glad to see that you kept this log going even if you're not going to the Olympia. That's their loss anyway. They won't get the chance to see the awesome Crader standing there in all her ripped glory!!!

We should all train as if we are going to be IN the Olympia. That will keep us strict on our diets, diligent with our cardio, and spot-on with our training.

As Shakespeare said in paraphrase, "All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players, performers, and portrayers. Each another's audience."

Keep training as if you will be standing on that Olympia stage yourself Christine!!! You have lots of fans here counting on you to meet your goals.
The best of luck to you my warrior-sistah!!! :clap2:

Leg day

Started with 90lb leg extensions for 15 reps with stripper pole squats for 20 reps and 4 sets.

Then we did a triple set of 10 per leg of 70lb butt blaster kneeling kick backs then did pump lunges down to the rack and did 10per leg of stationary lunges. 4 sets.

Then we did another triple set of 15 standing leg curls 35lbs per leg with 10 adducter and 10 abducter at 90lbs and 4 sets.

Then i finished with a 45lb leg press for 100 reps straight.

And 100 reps of calves.

Got up this morning and took the dog on a jog and then finished off with 20 min on the treadmill. My lower back was hurting or I might have done more. I will hit a 2nd one later today. On the 12th I will be 36 yrs old so I figure I need it. I'm getting old ;)

boooo. I wish I was 36 again

:) I would take 26yrs old! Eh either way. Its almost fall and halloween time so i'm getting revved up. I love haunted houses and decorating so I'm going to get lean for the occasion so I can be muscley and scary! ;)

Shoulders

Started with dumbell up and backs for 15 reps x 4 sets.

Moved to 20 1/4 lat pulses for 4 sets.

Then did 10 per arm of pronated front raises with 6 overhead pronated presses for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 per arm on front rows with 6 dumbell push ups

Then we used the lateral raise machine and did 15 full range over the head raises for 3 sets with 20 V ups

Then we used inside handles of the press machine and sat facing the pad and did 10 presses for 4 sets.

I will be doing 15 more min of cardio later.

You are doing far better than I am. The last 3-4 weeks I have only getting 40-70% of my scheduled training done a week (GRRR). Sean is whipping his arse back into shape now, so best he kick some of that whiplashing my way!

I started my weight loss phase now, so down 3lbs in first 2 days :) 24 days to go! Started at a peak of 216, hoping for a nice 200 for the O

Yeah we're getting back into the swing of things now, I just have to give Rosie a giant size 15 foot in the ass...lol. :D, and of course I get b*tched out for it, but hey I'm tough, I can take what she throws at me. I plan on running a sick cutting cycle soon BTW. I'll start another log when I get it up and going and send you an invite C if you would be interested in following along.

Keep rocking and rolling C. Oh yeah...you muscley and scary eh...for some reason I can't see that :p.

Cheers!
