Metroba tries out teh MMV3s

haha I'll get it! Just gotta get used to these beatings.

Sweet looking sesh, Met! I'm with Bass though, you need to hit that 20. You should have sucked it up for a few seconds and cranked them out. I'm disappointed in you. :(

:p

I actually was gonna bail on that last set but I knew you guys would hate on me badddd if I did. I pussed out on the last 4 reps and Im still in trouble  never again...thanx guys I need to be pushed sometimes

Met, the pinwheels go for a straight set of 20 as well. The widow set of quads...pussy! j/k bubba! Solid w/o champ!

You tell me 20 reps and Imprez tell me 12 :frustrate lol

Ya, no puss'n out..lol Even if it takes you standing there with the weight on your back(or floor) for a few breaths, do 1 rep, breaths, 1rep, etc.

On the calves, is that your own adaptation? Not sure where your getting 25sec negatives for dc training.

I thought the negatives were supposed to be for 25 seconds. I guess I read wrong. What is it supposed to be?
12-20 is the rep range for forearms..
good to know
When I do forearms, its usually about 300 reps... but really fast ones.

:bukkake:
bahahahhaa

I always understood it as a straight 20 reps Imprez??

Where did you get that from?

DC breaking down one of his trainees split(was a huge post, so i cut out everything but the rep ranges)
FOREARMS: reverse grip one arm cable curls for 12-20 reps straight setted like this Invalid Link Removed

FOREARMS: reverse grip one arm cable curls for 12-20 reps straight setted (i think im just going to have him do this exercise repeatedly for forearms and i really dont care if he only gains 10-30 pounds on it over the next year....its just to keep his forearms in line with his upper arms)

Scott M(mod on IM)
Forearms are done with a straight set of 12-20 or so.

Calves are done with an explosive positive(onto your toes), 5secs coming down, and and 15sec or so held in the stretched position. It is pretty effin painful..lol

ohhh okay..Ill do this from now on. Thanks again man! I'm eternally grateful! :box:

i totally fagged out and skipped free squats at the end of todays workout. preacher curls, pinwheel curls, calf presses and leg curls all went great, but this was the first time i had worked legs in months so i just didnt have it in me to do free squats. i'm a wuss

I don't think anyone here will disagree with that. ;)

hahaha...got my tub of Slingshot from Axis today. Gonna be throwing a scoop in pre w/o.

WOW!! I feel a bit uncomfortable giving a review of Slingshot being a rep and all but I gotta say. I looved this stuff! I am in no way trying to push this product..even tho that is my job . I really did enjoy this stuff tho. I didn't take the smash today. In place I took 1 level scoop of the Slingshot w/ 200mg caffeine. I was amped! I was focused! I was dialed in! Endurance was sky high! I was getting so ansy waiting to hit my working sets. I had to restrain myself not to cut my rest time short. I like that it didn't have the Creatine in it. I have been drinking Muscle delight on my off days which has 5g creatine. Now that I dont have creatine in my pre w/o drink, I can have the MD everyday! The wms and GMS got me sooo pumped! And DC isn't really meant for a pump! I was looking really swole and massy today! Lats/chest/arms are looking nice and thick! I lost one of my straps. So I lost the abilty to achieve maybe 2-3 reps more on the bb rows :dunno:. Still was a great workout. I will pick up another pair in the next day or two.

The w/o:
1. warmed up scap
2. Incline bb press - 95x12x2, 125x6, 155x6-2-2=10; I went up 10 lbs on this from last time. Got a bit overzealous . So I will be sticking at this weight next time for more reps. Still..10lbs increase is nass! :D. Also, I could've gotten prob 1 more rep on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rp had I had a spotter.
3. Chest stretch - 35s for 90 seconds...this burn is so intense! I love it!
4. Seated db press - 20x12, 25x12, 35x6, 45x14-7-6=27. Will bump up to 50's next time!
5. Shoulder stretch - 45 seconds
6. Overhead db ext. - 45x12, 55x12, 70x6, 85x11-7-5=23; will stick at this weight for more reps next time. I did 85x12 last time. So I lost 1 rep. Understandable when I am doing all those presses before it.
7. Tricep stretch - 30 for 60 seconds
8. Pullups - (warmup on assisted) 14x12, 14x6 > regular pullups - 11-5-4=20; I got I think 12 reps last time. Understandable since I didn't warm up before doing reg pullups before now. Will add weight to feet next time.
9. Now here is where I could have done 2-3 reps better had I had some straps :dunno:. BB rows - 95x12, 135x12, 185x5, 145x10; will stick at 185 for more reps next time.
10. Lat hang for 45 seconds. I waited until my grip completely gave and my fingers just slipt off.

Starting to get a hang of this routine and I am loving it! People just keep asking me what the hell I'm doing with all these stretches..

Get some straps.. They are really big in DC, even for things like DB curls, etc. Your forearms get enough work.. You want the muscle to burn out before your grip for sure.

As for the looks, while stretching..LOL Man, do you know how many times i have been doing the chest stretch and someone will run up and try and go "omg do you need a spot" thinking i am doing presses, and stuck..lol Like **** dude, i could just drop the db's..

Good session man.. When you say things like "I did 85x12 last time." does that mean you dropped 1 rep, only on the first set, but the total number of reps was the same? Or did you lose a rep on the total, due to losing that one on the first?

hahah yeah someone did the same thing to me. Asking if I need a spot.

For the overhead db ext. - This is my first time doing this while on DC. Last I did this was about 3 weeks ago. And it was on a different routine. So when I hit 85 I did it for 12 reps. Today on my working set with 85 I hit 11 reps first then 7 then 5. So I by far did more reps with this weight than I did on another the routine.

Got ya..

So are you working out Tues/thurs/sat?

At the moment yes.

4. Seated db press - 20x12, 25x12, 35x6, 45x14-7-6=27. Will bump up to 50's next time - Go for 55's ;)

Understandable when I am doing all those presses before it. -You should up the weight next time bro. Tri's should be 11-15 reps unless you're doing skull crushers. Then it's 15-30.

8. Pullups - (warmup on assisted) 14x12, 14x6 > regular pullups - 11-5-4=20; I got I think 12 reps last time. Understandable since I didn't warm up before doing reg pullups before now. Will add weight to feet next time. -Buy a belt. It's MUCH easier and more convenient than trying to hold DB w/ your feet.

...

Never mind about the overhead ext rep ranges. I guess that'd be 15-30 considering the ROM you're doing. Going too heavy might not be a good idea.

not much info about mmv3 in this thread. you still using, what are your results, opinions?

I'd like to get a belt but I'm tight on money right now. I just moved into my new apartment. So I have money tightly budgeted. So I have to stick to the foot method right now.

I'm sorry I haven't logged to your liking Big. I have commented on how MMv3 has worked so far. When it comes down it, I believe the results will speak for themselves.

But to recap for you this is what I have experienced:

-muscle hardening
-increase in endurance
-maintenance at first and now increases in strength while cutting
-libido was up and beginning and now is normal/a tad lower at times
-I am only slightly more aggressive
-I am more focused
-I am recovering faster
-I don't feel shutdown
-I am leaning out while getting bigger/more toned
-Appetite is normal
-No acne, pimples, oily skin, etc

I believe I covered every thing. If I remember I left out, Ill include it. If I didn't mention something you'd like covered, then ask and I will retort.

Pics will be posted at end of cycle and pct.

didn't mean to sound abusive, i ordered mmv2xl caps from another site and received the same thing you are taking in sub tabs. i got it real cheap and don't want to use for another few months, just wanted to make sure it's legit. was confused by the ingredients. thanks for your reply.

No worries man...maybe MMv3 is making me more aggressive than I thought. So I apologize for jumping the gun there. Have fun with the cycle bro .

Met,

You should really feel uncomfortable giving a review on slingshot. The only way to feel more comfortable about it is to send me the product so I can give an unbiased confirmation of your results!

LOL

Glad to see DC is working well for you. I thought I was on my way to doing it and now my back has me feeling like a punk b!tch. :worried: There is no way I am going to try DC and skip Squats and Deads.

haha I'll keep ya in mind bro. Not sure if you were serious there but if it seems to0 much like I'm pushing the product, rather than giving an honest review, I will take down my review. Just thought I'd let you guys know my experience with it.

MASTY workout Met! Looks like you are figuring this DC routine out well. I love the way you just build up to this balls out last set. Keep tearing it up champ.

I was just joking. You guys make great products from what I have read about from folks I trust. I have not had the chance to try one of your products yet....but I will!

Glad to see your diggin' the DC. I hear lots of people make awesome gains while "assisted" and doing DC type workouts. Some of my buddies have done that, and the results are truly impressive. Not knockin' it, just saying it really worked well fro them, compared to people I've known who have just done the straight type lifting when "assisted". They also kept more gains and strength after. Thanks for shining more light on the DC style guys, and for a good log Met!!

ridic workout, brother man. based on your initial impressions of slingshot, i may look into. i've just been taking a BA tab a little before i leave for the gym.

Werd up man..how much BA are you taking atm?

Axis is a great company. I've only used a few of their products (Adipo-X, Clutch, Hemodraulix) but they're all very legit. Currently running a Hemo log and loving the stuff!

WOOOPP!!!

:djparty:

Met have you used adipo-x? How was it? Running a cut soon and would like to be well rounded.

I can tell you it's very strong. Volcom loved it. I haven't even finished my bottle yet. I was doing fasted training when I used it, and it was too much for my stomach to handle on empty, but I'll be polishing it off pretty soon.
