ULTIMA: The Hunt for a Stim-Free Pre-WO solution (Sponsored)

Haha glad you had a great lift! I love that feeling after doing legs..

Yea, the looks I was gettin when I headed to the Machine + Cardio Room where the ladies hang out as I pushed myself through the last 2 exercises was amusing lol. They don't even break a sweat, meanwhile I'm sure my face looked like I was gettin tortured.

I know exactly what you mean...our machines and cardio are upstairs...and i feel kind of funny when i go up there because most people are just up there reading on a treadmill/bike and I am up there destroying myself to finish a lift :)

Mine is all underground in a dungeon, but the scenery in the cardio room > the free weight room of football/rugby players lol. In the fall I'll have a new gym; either at McMaster in medschool or here at Queen's because the construction should be done on the weight room :D

The fat loss is dramatic on this product and I won't explain the mechanism yet until the final comes out, but it is a doozy. The numbers coming back in logs are amazing with one tub guys are dropping 2-4 points in BF% and going up in weight. That's nuts.

I am so proud of the product you have no idea and to see the results coming out like this...its very reaffirming. Congrats on the awesome workout too.

When I read the first five words of your post, I immediately wanted to ask what the MoA could be. Looking forward to more details.

Well I won't jinx it, but I will say there does seem to be accelerated fat loss. I do manage to drop fat and put on muscle fairly easy, not sure exactly what body type I qualify as... I want the nutrigenomics to advance quicker so I can just do a quick blood test and have my genetic makeup identified. I know Berardi was working on something a year ago, perhaps I'll email him and see what the status of the project is.:type:

DOMS is about a 7.5-8/10, which is surprising since it should have been a 10. Also the Slim Xtreme kept me up until almost midnight, and a poor quality of sleep. Going to power nap this afternoon, now off to cardio then WHMIS recert :(

The megadose of methylcobalamin...not in the presence of stims necessarily...will normalize sleep patterns and improve sleep quality. Of course, this along with the nootropic effects during the day as well. I won't even bring up methylation, nerve conduction, and all the other stuff...

i'm waiting for the money tree to grow more leaves :P heading into birthday season, april is mom and 1 kids birthday, may is dad + 2 kids birthdays. plus somehow my tax return looks like its going to suck this year

I hear you man. I'm a broke MOFO at the moment my own self. My wife is self employed and she and her partner aren't doing so well right now. My little one comes first then my wife and if there is anything left over I might get some of it.

Spring is coming; that should help the money tree grow :D

Actually yesterday was about 10C and sunny; nice weather gets me in such a good mood. I wear shorts year round, but shedding the winter jacket and just running around in a polo & shorts with the wind blowing by me is an awesome feeling. I won't miss winter one bit!

I'll update after my shoulders workout, just takign a break from the WHMIS training course (Dull but safety training is req'd) but cardio was VERY intense. 1248 cals; I hadn't had any carbs except broccoli since 1:30 pm yesterday, so the legs were depleted like mad. Plus some crazy sweating, chugged 1.5L of water PoWO :)

As for patience being a virtue; I always tell customers good things come to those who wait but they want the product yesterday

when I read them, I immediately wanted to order a tub :D

Should be a rock-solid investment. Feedback appears impressive.

The Banaba writeup just got kicked into high gear, if you know what I mean. I took pics though, trying to upload them. Then will type up the update later tonight.

If there was some way to move some muscle from my anterior delts to my pecs I'd be down for it; time to get back into 10x10 for DB Bench, I respond pretty well to those. Looking back at the pics since November, I haven't put much muscle on; the broken finger really took me out. Seems like I added alot of fat; shedding that off now. Probably 14% or so; I'll bulk once I hit 10% or so. I've talked it over with a few of you, it's a tossup between The One and 1-T Tren right now.

Haven't seen pics of you before Steveo - It's good to have a... well not a face... it's good to have a torso to associate with your name. :p

My head got lost in the clouds lol. I pulled up my old Prime log, and it's almost identical, except I was slightly leaner late fall. Same photo location, hat still on the shelf lol. Sort of like a 3 months stalemate, largely due to Christmas/broken finger, but I've got big plans for late April :)

That's the kind of perseverance I like to see!

Thurs March 26: Shoulder & Cardio

Cardio: 8:00-8:50
50 Mins Elliptical, 1248 Cals. Had to pause at 45 mins, or I might have hit 1260. No carbs except broccoli/salad since 1:30pm yesterday!
- Chewed my DCP & Took the AP powder straight for rapid-release. Did it work? Sweated like a mofo, but I did wear a different shirt today. Will repeat next week.

Workout:
1) Standing BB Shoulder Press 115 x5,8,6,6 +10 from last week
1b) DB Obliques 65x10,9,9,9 +5
2- TriSets DB Stead: Lateral Raise, Front Raise, Shoulder Press
3) DB Decl. Pullover 45x8,8,8
3b) Standing Calf Raises 3x8 w/ Hold (Missed these yesterday)

Dosing:~0.6 ULTIMA 30 mins Pre, was going to take it intra but didn't feel the need

Comments:
Slightly tired upon waking, Slim Xtreme interfered with my sleep. The cardio sure woke me up though. I wish I had time to stretch afterwards but I was late for some safety training, so that didn't happen and the DOMS got slightly intensified.

Focus in the gym was pretty good; not as crazy as yesterday but it was a decent workout. That has become my gold standard for comparison I suppose. I didn't have the same explosiveness, but did push myself pretty hard on the calf raises (admittedly, the chick staring at my calves was also motivational)

It's been a long day; got an even longer one tomorrow, then I'm heading home for the weekend as I have my Med School Interview on Sunday. Ideally I want to get in some Deadlifts/Cleans tomorrow, but it likely won't happen. Going to be reading a book on ethics that I've put off all week. Heading off to bed; keep an eye out at NutraPlanet for a new bulk product, and a very familiar writing style ;)

Subbbbed- Just catching up on this log now.

Great details.

I guess I should also ask do you miss the stim-ness at all?
I'm not really a big fan of it but a good stim makes me a psycho in the gym.

Friday March 27th: Off

Comments:
- I was hoping to hit traps/bi's/tri's before I headed home for the weekend, but wasn't free until ~3:30, and was feeling tired. It seems I didn't completely shake the cold, and a poor night's rest made me realize the fact, so I decided to just take the day off and recover so I'm not sick for my interview on Sunday.

I am noticing the sleep benefits diminishing; the first few days I had some great sleep but I haven't noticed it consistently anymore on the nights following Ultima dosing. So many things affect sleep though, that this could be easily just the changing dynamics of my everyday life. Things get more hectic towards the end of the school year, I've got a big day tomorrow, seasonal fluctuations etc lol

Hydration/Headaches: On the 1st two days I noticed I got some minor headaches. It may be from the creatine (although I experienced no bloat), that my needs for water were somewhat elevated. I have noticed this a few times again, that I would feel a headache coming on, drink 500mLs of water and feel much better. I just want to stress to anybody taking ULTIMA to really monitor, and perhaps increase your water intake.

Subbbbed- Just catching up on this log now.

Well to be honest, for the longest time I was all about trying to avoid caffeine in preWO supps. The market for StimFree PreWO supps is pretty small. I had used Caffeine Free Ragnarok, and it wasn't as effective as the reg. version. ULTIMA came along and I'm still evaluating its effectiveness, but it does help with focus/concentration/sleep. However using Slim Xtreme (A Stim) + ULTIMA was a real eye opener; I've never had that sort of workout before. I'm thinking leaving ULTIMA Stim free is a great way to let a user tailor in some stims if they see fit; a caffeine or geranium cap might be all it needs to give you an unbelievable workout. I heard it before but now truly realize how cheap and effective a stim like caffine can be (Although SX is a bit more than that). I will continue to run this log with just ULTIMA (unless Omega wishes me to try it again with a stim), but afterwards I will pick up some ULTIMA on my own dime and do some experimenting.

So... back to your question. It seems I do miss the stim a bit; it helps with explosiveness and really getting me going in the gym, but I also like being able to pick and choose my stims.

this log really gets me pumped about this product fin!..im loving this log!
slick.

What? This is Steve's log, BOBBY.
This proves my theory, though. Disappointing, it is.

To answer your question, Steve: I have not used any stimulants while on Ultima. I do not feel as if I need them whatsoever.

Fair enough. Some good workout music, a bit of motivation, and I've had some pretty good workouts on that alone. You've just got to want it; which reminds me I really do need to switch up my playlist. I am at the point where I can list all 30 songs off.

Also I didn't mention it in the update, but took a long hot shower & stretched afterwards, and the DOMS is starting to fade but wow, it was some incredible soreness. I can definitely see some increased definition in the legs from the workout. I will skip deadlifts/cleans this round, and start on Monday with Cardio + Chest/Upper Back , Tues will be Legs, Wed = Cardio, Thurs = Cardio & Cleans/Deads I think. Will see how the body feels and go from there though.

WTF?..i like the product!..

hey steve-o! earlier today i was doing some catching up on your log. i admire your feedback style. detail-oriented yet concise. keep up the good work.

what caught my eye about your log was the part of your thread title stating:" "stim-free pre-WO workout solution". otherwise, i probably would have never investigated! I'm sincerely interested in a stim-free pre-WO workout solution. the only one I've been able to find is NO-Shotgun and not only do i not like the effects most of stim-based products produce (the caffeine high) but I'm extremely sensitive to caffeine so the unpleasant effect is easily induced. i'm also trying my absolute hardest to stay away from caffeine as part of my current acne regimen as a caffeine buzz tends to be perceived by the body as stress. stress is not exactly complimentary to my attempts to be acne-free as you can see!

i was looking for a write-up for ultima and maybe i missed it but I'd love to have a look at one if it's available to evaluate whether or not ultima may be an option for me.

aside from ultima, what other effective stim-free pre-WO products are available or will be available in the near future? for right now, ultima is sounding like the fix I've been looking for though :)

Thanks for stopping by. Sometimes I feel like I'm rambing, I never know how much detail to go into.

As for the writeup, I realized I only linked to the picture and FAQs, so I edited the first post. Thanks for noticing, and this is what you wanted

Trying to find a stim-free product is quite the challenge. I'm going to switch up my music, and really try and focus on getting in some intense workouts next-week without caffeine. The sublingual (or atleast attemped :)) dosing is quite fun, and the fizzing is quite novel. I remember enjoying this aspect of Jack3d in the original version. If there's any aspect of my workouts that you feel I should expand on/cover, please let me know. I find numbers a bit subjective and try and stay away from them when possible.

thank you for your response brother. indeed, your feedback has been insightful and well-written. continue as you were. don't second guess yourself! :)

i just finished going over the ultima write-up and i must say i'm quite impressed. it's definitely going to be something i am going to keep in mind for when the financial situation is leveled out. some would venture to say the price is steep but judging from the write-up, there seems to be some high-quality ingredients and immense amounts of research and labor that's gone into the production of this product. it would be famazing if omega could bump up the number of servings to 25, ideally 30. then again, when i start lifting again I'll be going on a 3-day lifting regimen so it should last me roughly 1.5 months. not too shabby.

so you haven't really come across any other stim-free pre-WO products, ha? :headache: this is going to be quite a journey I'm embarking on: trying to find a stim-free product that actually works.

You may not need a full scoop of ULTIMA to have a great workout, so the 20 scoops may actually last 30 workouts, depending on your dosing. As for not finding a PreWO stim, I would say that I have pretty good workouts without them. I just take my usual BA/Creatine/CitMal & Amino Cocktails, put on a few good songs and I've had some pretty good workouts. Taking something like DTH will make me more aggressive which leads to good workouts, and mega-dosing Citrulline Malate has produced some interesting workouts. I may try Agmatine in the near future.

Pre-w/o stims aren't all that necessary, IMO. The only times I've consistently used one is when logging it, otherwise I stick to nootropics and, just like you Steveo, a mix of various ergogenics.

I, however, prefer silence in the weightroom. :)

Now that you mention it, you're absolutely right! i recall your recent dosages floating around the half scoop mark. naturally, i assume this exemplifies ultima's potency. I recently finished up "The Creatine Report" by Will Brink and i am going to be starting my first creatine mono cycle. i am currently researching beta-alanine & the research conveys a solid message of results so I'll most likely be stacking BA+CM. there are some controversial consumer reviews regarding BA but i prefer to listen to the peer reviewed studies accepted by medical journals than what the guy around the corner has to say. both should be taken into consideration, however, but in my world the scientific studies outweigh the opinion of the average man. :)

the majority of the masses seem to be in favor of BA, though.

The majority of the masses seem to be in favor of BA, though.
The majority in this community will listen to broscience more than anything. Not an educated choice, in my opinion. But in the case of BA, I will say that it definitely holds merit as a great supplement to use.
CM+BA is a great combination. Throw in some L-Glut, and you have a very safe and effective stack.

Love the idea of Ultima then tailoring your own stim.

Great stiff right there.

I've tried silence vs. music, and for me there's no comparison. However our difference is similar to the studies that have found about half the people study better with music, while half do poorer. I'm glad to see you've got your own ULTIMA log started as well now

I was listening to the Brink audio report last week as well oddly enough! I definitely think that BA has some solid science behind it, and is very cheap in bulk. 500g lasts 4 months, so we're talking pennies!

Oh I do love my science lol. CM+BA is a definitely a good starting stack, it's what I usually recommend for people just getting into weight-lifting and supplements. Add in a multi, whey, fish oils and ZMA and they will see good gains naturally.

That is definitely one of its selling points; along with the fact that the sheer cost of ingredients in ULTIMA is huge!

Whew, looong day. Just got off the train from my interview. Going to get to bed so I can do some fasted cardio; my cold seems to be lingering. Might not be the brightest idea to wake up and do cardio tomorrow, but I'll see how I feel :)

Man,

I miss 1 day and I am way behind...lots of catching up to do!

x2. The weekend is tough for me to get any quality time online. With many things to get done and my daughter. Thats my chance for quality time with her.

custom and dtrain are always confusing with their identical avatars. you two are killing me man! i know we're all one in the same way but my head hurts lol

21 gun salute for personalization! :) j/k fellas
