Do you ever date a taller woman?

Figured i see your guys thoughts.
I am 5'10.......
I am going on a date with a girl tonigth who is 6'1.
To be honest, I never dated a girl taller than me, tallest has been 5'7 previously. Figured I ask your thoughts on this.

She is rather athletic, plays volleyball tourneys up the tristate area.
 
never dated taller...but the height difference can make certain things challenging (as i found out). for example, doggystyle might be hard as well as "69" because of the differences. i personally don't care for girls taller than I am because they make me feel small...THE GUY ISN'T SUPPOSED TO FEEL SMALL LOL!!! hope it all works out tho
 
once... i'm 5'8 and she was 5''10 and liked to wear stilletos. It was very awkward, felt like I was with an Amazon lol. It was all good though.
 
i'd hate to see a girl taller than me.. I did date a girl who was 6'4" once
 
I never liked the tall lanky model type.

Maurice, I'm only 5'8 and have dated a few women taller than me. One situation was actually similar to Jayhawkk's and she was bothered by it at first. She was really into me though and got over it pretty quickly.

It's never really bothered me bro. Just be confident and show the girl a good time on your date. If she can't get over something like height, then maybe she's not worth the time...

And FWIIW, my wife swears she is taller than me, altough I don't think she is.

i don't date girls taller than me, because my amazon girl would crush them. she's 5'11".

does it bother me? no way. i'm secure in myself. i occasionally wear a chicken hat, so she can feel more out of place than i do :)

I dated a girl who was 8 inches taller than me. Best expierience ever. Not only because the girl was very attractive, but everywhere I went, people thought I was the biggest pimp. Shed bend over to kiss me etc.

Ha, my scenario exactly! I am 5'11" and once dated a volleyball chick who was 6'1". It wasn't terribly noticeable since I usually wear boots, which give me around an extra inch of height. Then one night we went out to a formal event and she wore some terribly sexy heels in the 4-5" range, and I felt like a midget the whole night.

My brother's in that category of dating a girl so much taller that she had to bend down to kiss him. I could never do that...

Have only dated one tall woman (6' to my 6' 2"); frankly it was nice to 'wrestle' with someone who didn't feel breakable, y'know...'course it was tough to do the standing-up thing (bigger = heavier).

I *like* being able to look my date/partner/playmate in the eye without bending over. Not into boney, tho....

My girlfriend is exactly my height if not just a tiny bit taller...but she wears 3 or 4 inch heals EVERY day. I have to say I do like her height (we are both between 5'9" and 5'10") and the feeling that I can't break her. I am about 190 lbs. and she is about 130ish, so I never feel small when I'm with her...even with her heals. I can still toss her around when I want to :-)
 
I dated a taller chick for a little, I am 5'5" and she was about 6' and wore heels when we went out, made me feel kinda awkward. Yet for some reason, I am going out with her again tonight....
 
I've only dated shorter women... Dating taller women makes me feel smaller than I already am (i'm currently between 5'8 - 5'9). But these days, i'm having trouble finding hot, slim blondes who're quite shorter than me... they all seem to be in the 5'7 - 5'10 range.. so yea, i'll prolly have to be more open to it eh....
 
I'm 5'9" (in the morning), and I was dating a 5'11" girl who was always wearing heels. On the first date we talked about it for few seconds and never felt awkward about it ever again. I actually felt damn good dating such a hotty. :)

I'm with tattoo and stefang.. I don't think I would date a girl that was taller.

I saw this one girl in the supermarket the other day next to me in line that was about 6'8"... I felt like a toddler, lol.

I am about 6ft3 and a half. I only ever dated one girl taller than me and that was in highschool. Great looking blonde girl, 3 sport athlete, who I dumped because I felt weird about her being taller than me and my friends kept making fun of me. Shes now a doctor making a nice 6 figure salary, her family owns 6 golf courses and shes still tall and smoking hot... man if I could only go back in time.

Seriously - as long as you're attracted to her - who cares. Being 6'1", I'm sure she's used to dating guys shorter than her - it's not like it's a big surprise for her.

I'm 6 feet, and never dated anyone taller than me. I would though - it just hasn't come up yet. If she has to bend down to kiss me, I'll just tell her "you have to work for it baby" ;)


PS - I've seen pics of toughchick401, so believe me - some tall chicks are TOTALLY worth it.
