Damn straight...it could be perfectly reasonable to shoot an unarmed, subdued man in the back. Who are YOU to Judge.
Until you have BEEN the head of the Nazi Regime, who are YOU to judge the Holocaust and Hitler?
How does anyone defend that ****ing prick? I have trained/coached many law enforcement officers in FCAT and this situation in no way warranted that level of force. The subject was prone, cuffed, and offered no resistance. This act is absolutely abhoring to me and I don't give a damn if I have never been an active police officer, there is no ****ing logic or justification for his actions.
The officer has now been charged with murder. This does not make me happy. Here is a man who has been protecting our country for at least three years that I know of. He was an officer for two, and served in the Iraq Conflict as a soldier for at least one year. Here's a man who has been doing the two most "noble" jobs a man can do in this country, sentenced to go to prison for 50 to life.
So he has two choices. Apply koolaid to his lips and tie his shirt into a tube top knot. Or, he'll find a "click" to join. The "click" will likely congratulate his "accomplishment." This man's life is ruined, if not ended. Another man is already dead. End of story.
This guy will get what it is that he deserves. Karma is a bitch. :1244:
We all see what happened, but what was the policeman's intent? Maybe something that was totally out of his control 'inspired' him to make that choice. Something that could effect us all in the same way, to make an erroneous choice even if we had the best of intentions. Would you still judge this man the same in that case?
depends what you are referring to....demonic possession? We all see what happened, but what was the policeman's intent? I don't know what the perception is. Anyone know who Amadou Diallo was? If these losers weren't acting like savages, there would have been no contact with the police, period. Stop acting like an animal, you'll stop dying in this fashion. I'm really baffled, people really think this poor bastard woke up that morning and said, "Hmmmm, I think I'll execute some scum bag today on a rush hour train platform with hundreds of people watching." That's f v cking insane! In this political environment, youtube, everyone has a friggin camera, you'd be a fool. Fact is, this was most likely a tragic accident, nothing more. I reiterate, stop drawing police attention by acting like an as shole and you'll go home in one piece.

Please explain how another unnarmed victim of police brutality (being shot over 40 times) was acting like a savage? He was coming home from work, he fit a description (black male) and he was killed. Savagery? I happened to be 2 blocks from where this happened and it sounded like the OK-****ing-Coralle.
... Did you know the police department confiscated the train station videotapes and said the cams didn't work or some ****? What GARBAGE. corrupt bitches.
... and some are just evil bastards.
Fulton conviction overturned for cop in 92-year-old’s killing
Arthur Tesler still awaits sentencing after conviction on federal civil rights charges
By BILL RANKIN
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Thursday, January 15, 2009
The Georgia Court of Appeals on Thursday reversed the conviction of Arthur Tesler, the former Atlanta police officer sentenced to prison for lying to FBI agents about the botched drug-raid killing of 92-year-old Kathryn Johnston.
The court said Fulton County prosecutors failed to prove an essential element of the crime — where it was committed.
“The state was obligated to prove that the FBI office was located in Fulton County,” Chief Judge Yvette Miller wrote. “Its admitted failure requires us to reverse Tesler’s conviction.”
Tesler’s lawyer, William McKenney, called the ruling “terrific news” and said he hopes it will help Tesler’s sentencing next month in federal court.
District Attorney Paul Howard could not be reached Thursday for immediate comment.
After his May conviction in Fulton County, Tesler was sentenced to four years and six months in prison. He did not fire any shots the night of the November 2006 killing.
In October, Tesler pleaded guilty to federal civil rights charges for his role in the botched raid that shocked the nation and led to revelations that Atlanta cops were faking warrants to make drug cases. Tesler is to be sentenced in federal court Feb. 20.
McKenney called the ruling a “mixed blessing” because the court also found the evidence supported the jury’s finding that Tesler lied to federal agents. “The end result is that it leaves the question of a retrial still open,” he said.
A general end to the militarization of civilian law enforcement, and a definite end to the laws that make it 'necessary', like drug laws, would be a nice way to start.
depends what you are referring to....demonic possession? ...
... Using that principle, nobody anywhere can ever be judged, including the man raping your daughter. ...
Actually, I was thinking that global warming might have played a major role:

A cop shot a kid in the back. What will you do when cops start shooting kids in your backyard? I think as the globe warms, people will start feeling the heat. Hear what I'm saying Matt. Police and other authority agencies are people too, and susceptible to the same human weaknesses as you and me. To compound that, maybe some of them are also deep into a compromised position and aren't sure how to get out now. I pray that more of them take their nuts back and face the personal responsibility of their involvements, but it's their choice and I'm sure many more will fall victim to bad choices. Focus your concerns on YOUR personal choices and responsibilities, not somebody else that you can't choose for anyway.

And they should be subject to the same damn rules and punishment, too.
I agree with whoever mentioned the prison specifically for police officers. Sounds like a good idea. Then they can't complain about being mixed with general pop.
Among other things the world could use more empathy.
I'd rather die bitter and blinded, under my own power, than cuffed and helpless on my stomach at the mercy of a rogue cop.Indeed my friend. People lose touch with their spiritual reality, and it robs them of their greatest source of power. It also initiates a futile materialistic struggle that can not be won! Death strips it all away from everyone one day. Why die bitter and blinded? Love is the only sure winner here.
And they should be subject to the same damn rules and punishment, too.

OK, so how is your attitude gonna insure that result then? How is condemning that cop gonna persevere your situation? Be honest with yourself. What real power do you have to change it? It takes more than talk, actions are required. This negative arguing changes nothing, when we could unite and start coming up with positive solutions!
Condemning, and punishing, the cop works as any other form of legal consequence - both as deterrent to others contemplating stepping over that line and insuring that no other parties are harmed by FUTURE actions of this individual that has now proven his inability to control himself when given authority and privilege.OK, so how is your attitude gonna insure that result then? Cops are trained NOT to have their fingers on the trigger until they are ready to fire.I know for us more intelligent people it may be hard to believe, but what if it really was an accident? Then, and only then, do none of these theories apply.
Cops are trained NOT to have their fingers on the trigger until they are ready to fire.
If it can be demonstrated HOW this could have been an accident, then that might slightly change the discussion - then again, not really.
I'm not a trained law enforcement officer, and even I know how easy it is for a twitch to fire off an unintended round. Most law enforcement are poorly trained short bastards with chips on their shoulder's anyway. Forgive me, I meant no offense to anyone who may be a member of law enforcement here at AM.

And The Golden Rule only works as an overriding principle where Game Theory doesn't apply - so basically nowhere.
You and I have touched on this briefly, in private, and I would have hoped that you grasped that we are in agreement. However, while there is still a semblance of society functioning, we still have to use it with the premise that it is what we CHOOSE (and it IS what we choose, whether or not the system is "rebooted" by catastrophe). So why are so many banks failing, and scamming people? Why is the US dollar crashing? Why are cops shooting restrained kids in the back, right in front of witnesses, and don't even care? Why are wars and rumors of war increasing so dramatically now? Look at Israel, look at the big name economist predicting civil war here! WTF is going on with the weather and climate changes on every planet in the dam solar system? Why did I have to sign a parental release so my kids could watch the blatantly "gay" azz Obama inauguration? (because even the school district's lawyers were ashamed and disgusted at how non-family oriented it was planned) Why are your civil rights and provisions to protect yourself under fire, when the cops clearly can't protect you either? Why is congress subsidizing billions of dollars for HDTV converters? Companies are closing left and right, we have an insane economic crisis, but they sure wanna make sure we don't miss out on high definition television. That doesn't seem odd? Well... maybe the cops don't care anymore because it won't matter much longer anyway! I mean really, there's no point in steering if the wheel's out anyway, right? (lol, Strange Brew quote)
When you don't have power for months straight and people get hungry and desperate and scared, there will be no legal system my friend. The system will be stashed away where they don't have to deal with the sh!t, and you'll be left to your own self-reliance. Did you read the link I posted? In that official release from NASA last week, it states that they anticipate "A catastrophic failure of commercial and government infrastructure..." peaking in the next 3 years. As sensitive as this issue could get, you can bet that's a very very sugar coated statement to begin with. It's gonna happen even worse than that or they wouldn't have thrown you the bone and said anything.
This is only the beginning, and your faith in legal consequences is dangerously naive. Legal consequences only apply when there's an operational legal system! Listen, they are trying to warn us to "rush to prepare" now, so wake up and smell the warning. Only fools will ignore these official government warnings. Stop b!tching about cops, read between the lines, and think about the bigger picture.

Whether a society of 300 or 300 millions, eventually you have to decide on the rules you choose to maintain civility. You give me too much credit because I'm not that smart, but thanks for bearing with me anyway.![]()
Whether a society of 300 or 300 millions, eventually you have to decide on the rules you choose to maintain civility.
If (when) this whole thing bites the shitstorm, like it or not their AIN'T no magic Rapture coming. We will likely bear a short, or extended, time of chaos and anarchy - but as we once again grasp that there is more advantage in cooperation, we will form into small parties, then towns, then cities once again. Inevitably, division of labor and specialization will once again become pronounced - with those whose "job" it is to apply force (within the agreed upon laws and restrictions) in order to maintain a balance of rights.
If anything, I am convinced that Nietzsche was right, and this whole thing wil repeat ad infinitum...which then brings the question of principle and belief. Are you one of the mob? A bandit? A thief? A rapist? A robber? An enslaver?
these issues we have faced from time's beginning will come again...tribe against tribe - do we enslave the defeated, or maintain basic human rights for all? Do we TAKE what we feel we want, leaving others to die?
In the end, the mirror, though broken, will never disappear from in front of our eyes...and conscience, whether in the guise of god or human decency, is what we choose to value.
DR.D You are a wise, wise man my friend, godbless you and everyone here. :beerchug:
On another note, what's your opinion on purchasing years' supply of storable food?
I probably won't do it, even though all signs point to a coming economic collapse (by design, of course) thing is, 1,000$ or so for 1 person for 1 year, and I have 3 other family members.. what about you though? Hmm, all this talk of this stuff is making me want to do a real Havoc cycle while I still can... :bb3:
The government has countless FEMA camps setup across the country for when the economy collapses, THEN civil riots will commense after awhile, which is why they have the army patrolling U.S streets, it's not to protect us from invisible terrorists, but to protect themselves from us. These FEMA camps are for the people when martial law is declared, they are all fully staffed and fully operational and are all EMPTY right now, but not for long..
Evil men have ruled the world for a long time and we were coming into the final stages of their plans.
We will see the falling of the modern day Roman Empire. And by that I mean America. Mark this word. RESET. It will be the new breath of life for Americans. Think of it though.
Should our government finally crumble. Then banks and businesses recognized by the government fails. A huge crisis will exist, and the nation as a whole will "burn". But it could be a good and needed thing. Such as when a wildfire ravages a forest, the trees grow back rich and strong. The American Debt issue would be resolved if all the banks failed. And in a new America, with a "fresh start" every one would literally be facing a second chance. Yeah the rich and wealthy and those simply well off will complain. But thats because no one cares about the "Greater Good". Save for a select few who get used and abused, chivalry is dead.
Besides. The freedoms that instilled a great honor and pride into our people, now only serves to destroy our nations very integrity as our "freedom" is perverted and abused. The changes in America's ways of living from 1950 to now has been nothing but a slow fall into animalistic living.
During a time of governmental transition, new documents and rules would be drawn up, martial law would be in effect. You can dang bet the NRA would do a decent job of solving a good chunk of our "gang issue" the good old fashioned way. Besides, it would give some real leaders a chance to step up, without retarded requirements of political science, aka the "science of lies".
I love my country, but i feel like a soldier in a regiment that has gone bad, and is no longer soldiers but a bunch of scavengers and womanizers.
Over the last 15 years they have stripped us of the right to bear arms. They tax and charge the crap out of you to have any fire arms rights. And shun any idea of militia which each state is entitled to. In the 90's they asked US soldiers if they would fire on US citizens of ordered, most said no. That is why the US has made certain agreements with other nations for military divisions. So who is ready to strap up with an AK and take on a corrupt government? Why do you think its so illegal for the good guys to have firearms...
Hey, history repeats itself. This wont be a civil war life before, it will be a bloody battle against an oppressor. We originally broke away from England due to taxes. THEN WHY are they taking 25% of my check each week, when God only asks 10%? And then they blow the taxes on their own paychecks. The fact that America so full of people in debt is why the economy will die completely. No one can spend anything because the bank is making money off interest. Which means that more money is being owed than what is out there technically.
if in a circle you have 20 bucks, you have 10 of it. You loan that out, at 10% interest. a week. The guy works for the other guy who has 10 of it. he makes 5 bucks a week. by the time he can pay you back(lets say all at once) there is 2 extra dollars in the economy of the circle that are owed, but only 20 bucks to circulate. It ends up the guy has 12, and the rest has 8 to circulate.
If he had went 11 weeks without paying he would owe 21 dollars. the economy only has 20......so....
And here you have the model of why America will have no economy. I have a large sum of debt. I put zero back into the economy now save for gas and food. Which also causes discontent. A nation full of discontent will perish.
The only way to get saved this time is if America does a "reset" as in sacrifice the banks to save the people or America is "reborn" via revolutionary war.
Oboma is right. Change is coming...
Im sure you'll get flamed for this ive made a few threads months ago about a depression, fema camps, globalist, bankers and the general downturn in human evolution.
