upon further examination, I'm not quite sure whats going on.... I think the "working set" has me thrown for a loop, because you're still progressing in weight.

Haha, you're right, bro .. it's beyond the days of HIT/DC training; I had to cut it out once I got on the Controlled Labs stack, as my joints won't hold up by doing DC-hybrid training entirely .. This is why I didn't exceed 185 on barbell presses today .. I actually WANTED to stick with 135-155 and do sets of 15 reps, but my brother wanted to increase the weight, so I went along with it ..

My 'Warm-up sets' are whichever sets I don't count as a 'working set' .. normally 135 is considered a warm up set, as I progress quickly from 135 directly to 185 lbs on a normal shoulder day .. but due to the increase in repetitions, I went much more gradually. Easier on the shoulder joints this way!

Post-wo: 200mg P-Slin, 1 heaping-scoop LP, 30g WMS, 1/2cup ground oats

You and I are so much alike and yet at the same time we are polar opposites. I'm a sucker for the heavy weights and feeling powerful, and I add the drop sets/supersets/tri-sets/pre-exhaust sets to add volume to my intensity!!
In the end we both reach our desired goals! :thumbsup:

Today was an excellent workout. I had a nasty pump going, strength was up, and I had tons of energy...up until the last couple of exercises at least. I was on the verge of going hypo, but I fought it until the end. Today was my first time doing this workout fasted, and it was pretty killer. Unfortunately, the addition of O lifts means twelve extra sets in my workout, so I run quite late on these days. On my hypertrophy-only days I would have finished Meal 2 by now, but I won't even be eating that for another 45mins.

Day 2: Chest/Tris/O. Lower (Fasted, Supersets)

Incline Bench BB Press: 135x26,22,17,15,15,14,12,13
Bent Over Rope Ext.: 60x25,22,17,16,16, 65x14,15,13

Upright Cable Flies: 15x17,16,16,15,17,14,14,14
CG Bench Press: 100x17,16,15,15,13,14,13,13

SLDL: 135x15, 225x10, 315x6, 325x5, 335x3, 345x3 (+20lbs from last week)

I told myself on squats it was 375lbs or bust, so obviously I went to 380lbs :p)

Do you guys feel it's okay to up UnsatFat/SatFat a bit since I'm cutting carbs down? I just realized how good a little 4-cheese blend tastes on my beef/broccoli meal as well as the broccoli in my chicken/broccoli meal. Some of it is fat-free mozzarella, but some is the 4-cheese 2%. I don't load it on by any means, but it probably totals 1-1.5 servings for both meals.

As a result of this post, I abstained from adding cheese to my all spinach, chicken salad. Damn your jedi mind games.

I have a feeling it's just everything working together. Both my diet and supplementation are pretty much flawless, my training is more intense than ever as well as a hybrid of both hypertrophy and power; all making for the perfect growth-machine.

I feel like I need to vent. Multiple things have pissed me off today...

1) I don't know why, but to start off my day, I decided to check up on some politics...I see a video of Obama saying the first thing he's going to do after inauguration is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That should really show you where our focus is as a country. Pathetic, disgusting, and twisted. Not to mention all I hear in the background is a bunch of clapping and cheering whores. If you disagree with me, I don't give a $hit. I'm not much of a cursing man, so you should know that when I do, I mean business.

2) I get stuck in a line at the post office for at least 30mins...there were about 3 people ahead of me...Talk about efficient.

3) I'm leaving the grocery story and see a Maserati with the license-plate "Price 3" - I wouldn't give a crap if it was just the car, I'm happy for anyone that's successful assuming they got there by ethical ways, but with an arrogant tag like that, that persons deserved to have the car sledgehammered. Also, it proves what an unoriginal person that is..."Price 3" means that there are at least 3 other arrogant butt-holes driving around in Florida ("Price" - "Price 1" - "Price 2").

And then, as I'm driving, I think to myself, "I guarantee this is a middle-aged blond woman." So, I speed up, only to see...you guessed it!...A middle-aged blond woman (40-45). Congratulations. I hope you're happy being a walking-receptacle for your 65yo+ husband. She's brought new meaning to, "an exchange of items and goods for a service."

And, just so you guys are aware, and aren't personally offended, I'll be cutting my time on AM way back. I'll obviously still be running this log, but don't let your feelings be hurt if I don't show up in yours. Once this log is done, I'll be taking some time off of the board.

Are you cutting back on AM for a set time? Or is it like a rehab deal? However long it takes.

Ha. Ya, I'm doing 12 weeks on and 4 weeks off. :p - No, no time-frame. I just feel I should back off a little. Too much time is being spent on here. I could be using this time for more productive things.

If only you had a 65 year old lady with a cart full of items @ the store in front of you, who had the need to pay with a check and don't start writing until she sees the final amount due, I'd see IC in the can overnight .. LOL

It's one thing to say, 'ahh, cheer up, get over it, move on,' but some days [such as this one is for you] it's just too much to deal with at once, and you actually deserve to say 'f*ck it' and stay pissed off. You're not alone there, is all I'm saying.


As for the am.com hibernation .. might be a clever thing to do. I mean, this is entirely up to you. I've found that I've been checking up on other logs a lot less than before, primarily because I'm visiting the family for the break and I don't sit down in front of the computer much apart from logging my training, etc. Got another week and a half here, and then I'll see where my logging takes me. I'm personally lusting to try some Anadraulic State after readings the logs here on am.com.

.. had to leave early because of a family dinner my brother and I had to attend. Sick, SICK pumps, however. Out of this damn WORLD pumps ! I told my brother after completing today's session that the Alpha Male feeling is back with a vengeance @ the gym ! I felt INVINCIBLE ! My arms had veins running up and down every direction. I looked dirt-naaaaastyyy ! .. in a good way !

.. Funny story; last night, my family and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We had this hottie waitress, and I kept small talking with her whenever she came over. When I got my 10 oz. Prime Rib with a stuffed baked potato and Steak Fries, she laughed at me, saying, 'all the waitresses were wondering what kind of dinner the big guy would be ordering..' Haha, priceless.

SO, end of the dinner, and I took the receipt for the dinner and wrote my name and phone number on top of it. I kind of laughed at it, wasn't really expecting much.

This afternoon around 2PM, I get a random message; 'do you normally give out your number to strange women at restaurants? :)'

I reply; 'do you normally text or call random numbers you stumble across? :)'

We've been talking all day, and I'm probably meeting her this evening for coffee and/or dinner. Just a damn shame I met this girl the day before I'm supposed to head back for Texas! .. However, we already talked about when I'm coming back in May, and we'll be meeting up then for sure as well .. Don't hurt to have someone waiting wherever you go vacationing, right ?! ;)

You have to use it sparingly. Don't use it more than once at the same restaurant in a 3-month period.
 
After some discussion in Volcom's log, I decided to calculate my dietary macros. After gathering the info, here's my diet in numbers:

Protein - 50%
Carbs - 20%
Fat - 30%

2,682cals

I'm happy with this. :)

190-195lbs + Gear.

I'll take a 380lb Squat @ a natural 172lbs over that any day. :)

I've done this twice with a 0% success rate :nutkick: Granted once it was in Las Vegas and it was a female bartender, so she's probably accustomed to ignoring these situations. First time was a waitress at BJ's bar & grill.

You have to take into consideration the waitresses that are possibly married. As lame as it is, some women, and I have known some personally, take off their wedding ring while serving so they can get more tips...SO, it's possible that both of those women were married and you didn't know it.

Not much to report today. It's an off-day, and I've just been doing school stuff since 9am.

Today's CL supp schedule:

12pm: 1 scoop GreenMAG, 5 BlueGene, 2 Recreate, 25mg E, 1g 1-C, Coffee

During class (1:30ish): 4scoops GlycerGrow, 2 servings BC+EAA

No WhiteFlood on off-days.

Do any of you guys get your multi vitamins from wally-world? I forgot to order mine at NP during the sale, and I've been stuck without a MV for about ten days now, and I keep having to fight off a scratchy throat...What's a good MV to get at Wal-Mart?
