upon further examination, I'm not quite sure whats going on.... I think the "working set" has me thrown for a loop, because you're still progressing in weight.
Haha, you're right, bro .. it's beyond the days of HIT/DC training; I had to cut it out once I got on the Controlled Labs stack, as my joints won't hold up by doing DC-hybrid training entirely .. This is why I didn't exceed 185 on barbell presses today .. I actually WANTED to stick with 135-155 and do sets of 15 reps, but my brother wanted to increase the weight, so I went along with it ..
My 'Warm-up sets' are whichever sets I don't count as a 'working set' .. normally 135 is considered a warm up set, as I progress quickly from 135 directly to 185 lbs on a normal shoulder day .. but due to the increase in repetitions, I went much more gradually. Easier on the shoulder joints this way!
