Thinking about doing something along these lines. You can trade in rep points for coupon codes to NP.

Who would be interested in something like this?
 
Great idea, but we need to have some foresight and anticipate people repping the hell out of each other just for a coupon.
 
is this to benefit the gold member's also,i mean being that gold members have discount priveliges/codes already.or would this be an add on benefit also?..or would this be an incentive for the non-gold members?

Why?

More discounts=more likely to buy since we're in a recession.

More whoring/rep spreading=More bandwidth and more advertisers wanting to be affiliated with AM for exposure.

Either way it's a win-win for AM and users, I doubt they would ever put out a discount/coupon code that would "break" them, business men aren't stupid. ;)
 
it is a good idea,but i wouldnt' trade mine in for discounts from N.P!..if i orderd from them i would pay there asking price.to support them!:thumbsup:

I dunno. I mean, if you are gonna do this AND still throw us some deals around holidays/overstock closeouts, that's fine. But hell, I don't get enough reps to get a discount code I'll wager. DO NOT take the regularly-scheduled deals away pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!

Those deals are through Sam and NP, not me. Wouldn't effect anything.

There is a script that could be installed to allow people to ban others for a certain amount of time. I had seen it in action on other boards in the past. People get out of hand with it though. Then you have to re-register under alias for whenever your friends feel like pulling one on you.

Another one is changing other people's user title.
