Ahhh. Yeah, as SokVichet said. 70#'s proved to be too much after those sumo deads, so I dropped the weight so I could do more reps. There was no way I was getting 10 reps @ 70#, and my right leg was doing the majority of the work anyways. 60# was still pretty intense, and after 2 sets I called it quits.
 
It's tricky as hell, but I'm getting better at it! The first time I took about 20 pictures of my walls! LOL!

Seriously that's my problem. I end up with a closeup of my toothpaste or an extremely angled shot at the hair on the back of my neck. As sexy as that may be....just not the goal for the pic :cheers:

I'm just playing with you. You look great and I noticed the added size to the arms myself. You'll have your bone marrow striations back anytime you will it. Keep it up.

Weight: 191.4 (+10.6)

Dilemma, dilemma, dilemma. My stack was supposed to end tomorrow (Thursday), which means I have just enough Anabolic Edge & Activate Xtreme to make it through tomorrow evening. Since I decided to extend my run an additional 20 days, I placed an order at Nutra, but it's not scheduled to arrive until Friday. I didn't think to order it to my work, so I won't be able to pick up my package until I get home in the evening, which will be like... 7pm. Problem.

I guess what I will do is take 2 of my scheduled doses tomorrow. Morning and evening. And then I'll save one dose and take it in the AM on Friday, and resume normal doses when I get home in the evening. Hell, I'll probably take a dose when I get home and another with my post workout meal. I guess that's not horrible; I'll only be missing one dose and delaying another. I just hate not being able to do things the way I'd like. Oh well. What can you do...

I'll be the first to say I feel you and can empathize with the unnecessarily, but utterly frustrating psyche that comes with not having your way with a supp schedule, even little minute situations like the one you have. However, your system is well saturated and that slight complication won't effect you.

I seem to be stuck around the 190-191 mark, and it's killing me. I was really hoping to be able to keep pushing the weight up, but for some reason I'm teetering here. Gotta keep eating...

I grabbed the widest handle I could find, gripped the bar from the very ends, and hit those lat pulldowns hard, but I wasn't moving too much weight. I've never really been able to push much weight on this machine, it's really hard for some reason. I was hitting 180 a while back, but it was also my first exercise at the time. Oh well. I was spent. Triceps time!

So I ****ed up today. I ate all my veggies that I had at work for this week, so last night I hit the store and picked up some more to bring in today. But, of course, I left them at home. :frustrate

So I haven't had any veggies so far today. I guess I'll run out at lunchtime and grab a salad or something somewhere. It's just frustrating...

Make up for it with extra protein and fats until you can score some veggies dude. I carry my homemade "power balls" with me to work at night. I make 'em with milk, whey powder, and peanut butter. They're loaded with oats, granola, dried strawberries and dried apples. Oh yeah, and honey! :food: Almost complete nutrition!:D
 
If I saw you carrying that down the street, you'd have to be 5 times your current size for me to not straight jack your steak plate and run in the other direction!
haha I can picture CT charging in knocking shaddow out grabbing the steak and running down the other side of the street.

How often do you eat veggies, Shaddow? That's something I probably need to bump up. I get a good amount in my dinner meal, but that's it.

By what I have seen he's a grazer...this is a precontest diet technique that I would use when prepping. Problem is I would really develop a real hate on for vegtables. Grazing levels allows you to enhance your carb/calorie intake so you can eat next to no starches and making you lean without slowing down your metabolism.

Do you feel it's important to eat a large amount of veggies throughout the day on a regular bulk, or do you feel it's only important when prepping for a show?

I probably eat like 1-2 lbs of veggies/day, plus that again in carrots lol. I definitely graze. I just defrost 2 lb bags of frozen mixed veggies and nibble throughout the day.

Also Shadow, what kind of meat was that. Grass-fed, organic, or just regular store beef?

I would never do it unless I was cutting... why fill yourself up with food that is not going to add mass to you if your bulking. You want to eat more starch during this period. Not too much but definitely grazing is not a good bulk method.

Still eat a good amount of vegtables no matter what your doing just not the catastrophic amount it takes to be a grazer. Remember that's the food that food eats...

my appetite is too damn big to do anything except add weight, haha. I hate it. I'm at 215 or so right now and I want to shed fat...and all I want to do is eat. LAAAAME.

I'm hardly a grazer. My normal veggie protocol is as follows:

  • spinach with my chicken breast and almonds (2nd meal)
  • salsa (if you wanna count that) with my tuna sandwich (3rd meal)
  • spinach or salad with my chicken and pasta before leaving work (4th meal)
  • random veggies with my post workout meal
  • spinach with my ground beef before bed.

These portions are generally not very large either. When I am cutting I up my vegetable intake significantly. And actually, I've dropped that last meal before bed on this run since I've been working out late and I have to wait ~an hour after eating to take my ZMA & IGF-2.

Yeah, dude. It's not fair. I eat so much food throughout the day and my body is still generally just like "**** you, I'm not gaining any weight, *****!"

I have been stuck @190-191 for like the past 8 or 9 days. It's starting to piss me off. :aargh:

Yeah, I suppose you're right. I just kept seeing that scale go up on such a consistent basis early on during this stack that it almost feels like something's not right for me to not be gaining anymore.

Well, I was at +10 yesterday, but I dropped slightly this morning. I'm just kinda teetering back and forth here. :duel:
 
Hey guys, can I get some help/advice here pretty please?

My package arrived today, and I ended up adding BA to my order. I'm trying to gauge how to dose it (both dose size, and timing), cuz I'm a little unsure. I've mentioned in the past that I eat a quick, easy meal before I go to the gym. I have to. I cannot workout on an empty stomach. It simply does not work for me.

So, 30-40 minutes pre-eating I'm planning on taking:

5 PrimaForce cissus caps
4 RPM
2 Primatene tablets :twisted:

10-20 minutes after taking these I will take:

1 Anabolic Pump

20 minutes later I will eat 1 cup of oatmeal with 1 scoop ON, and then I will head to the gym (<5 minute drive).

I will begin sipping my BCAA/creatine mix on my way to the gym, and sip it throughout and after my workout.

So my question is, how much BA should I take, and when should I take it? Should I add some more to my workout drink?

Anyone??
 
for BA i heard some people like loading it like creatine,but

i think 6 grams ba is a good dosage, ba really fully kicks into effect in like 2 weeks

i think before and after would be could, so could split 3 grams before and 3 grams after. or you could do 2/2/2

as for your veggies do u buy fresh or frozen?

theres this new thing i found called steam fresh and you just put the veggie in the microwave and it steams itself.

im taking primo cissus as well, i having fully finaled dosing, i usually switch it up.

Add the BA to your BCAA/Creatine cocktail.

3 pre 3 post would work. Doubt I'd take it post workout.

I prefer fresh veggies, but I still buy frozen peas or mixed veggies for convenience sake once in a while. But I mostly eat them fresh.

I prefer pre-workout and I think pre-workout is the most efficient. My logic is that you want the highest concentration of carnosine (derivative of BA) which is the actual element that binds the H+ in your muscles before you start lifting.

However, some people like to take it intra and keep a "steady flow" of a modest concentration of BA in the blood. I know Thomas is all about the intra and I think there are benefits to intra, but me personally, feel that a pre-workout saturation is the best way to go.

However, however, because I do recognize the benefits of intra, if I bring myself to bear the paresthesia, I'll take a full serving before and sip on a full servings worth during.
 
BA does remain in your system like creatine, but just like taking creatine pre-workout, you want a spiked concentration right before you really go at it with the weights.

I too just ordered some for use on this cycle and want to know how to optimally take it. I planned on like 2g pre and 2g intra BUT it seems thats a lower dose then most are taking :think:

so what all do you guys suggest?

I was taking 2g pre & 2g post and it took about 10 days for it to fully kick in. Most people take more, I don't know if that gets you to a saturation point quicker and/or if it actually perpetuates a more effective result.
