Steve Atwater was like 6 1 weighing in at 215 at best. Christian Okoye was a beastly 6 4 250 pounder. Wow
 
How much sleep do you ideally need for optimum performance (as opposed to what you get now) ?

Hey Dragonfly, nice to have AM's house favorite dropping in.

As far as ideal optimal sleep, the general standard is 8 hours as we all know. I'm not sure I need ALL 8 myself to feel optimal, but I certainly need more then the 6 or less hours of sleep my current schedule is limiting me to.

I almost felt like taking my 6 CAPS of White Flood this morning just for the sustained energy effect, but that'd be a waste if I'm not using it to first fuel a workout.

That OFFICIALLY made my day. That was one of the biggest, baddest hits I've seen and to top it off, it wasn't one of those big hits where the guy who got nailed pops right back up to prove something. This dude was OUT!!

Day 13

I have severe back DOMS, severe triceps DOMS, slight soreness in my delts and my biceps are tight, but no soreness, my abs are sore for some reason and my quads feel weak from yesterdays HIIT. All I'm missing from the table is Chest DOMS for a bodybuilder heaven, full body DOMS.

I am itching and not Beta Alanine related, to hit chest, but I really should wait until the weekend, which kills me. It's much easier to give the advice of, better safe then sorry, then it is to swallow that "take it easy" pill myself.

Even then, my first chest workout should probably be more geared toward a rehabilitative intensity, then shock & awe. I may attempt to "re-re-re-restart" my dead lifts. I was doing fine performing my Romanian Dead lifts and slowly building them up load wise, but because I couldn't exert myself as far as load, I thought it'd be ingenius to add Db Dead lifts, following the Romanians. This worked out okay until I began to over exert myself with the Db Deads. It's really difficult for me to hold back on Deads. Live and learn, Barbell Deads and Db Deads must be an and/or basis "for now."
 
DTH Dreams

Just a side note. Ever since the induction of the DTH/Sunami, I've been having some funky dreams. Novedex XT used to give me nightmares indefinitely and that got to be an undesired side effect on a nightly basis.

Something about test boosters tamper with my dreams. I need to reference a no homo across the board here, but last night's (yet another) funky dream had urked me all morning. All I know is that it involved a wizard, some polar bears that chose not to attack me as I was sliding down an ice cavern and I kept running into them. Something about me turning on some magic medallion and then some ghost or genie or something started killing some people that might have jumped me. Ultimately it lead to a situation where the girl I was in love with got married to some other dude while I was caught up with turning on this magic medallion as a means to get to her, then she got all said when I showed up and she had to tell me she got married and I told her I was on my way but got caught up with this magic medallion thing that for some reason was required to activate before seeing her and suggested maintaining a relationship and I said, "you're married" and "I don't want to have a 30 year affair." (I actually remembered those two quotes). This whole situation was all actually really sad in my dream, but I can't place a face of this chick in my dream anymore and the dude she married off to was some dude I've never said two words to, but had a class with three or four semesters ago. I woke up all butt hurt and I'm still, currently weirded out by it.

I remember DTH giving me funky dreams in the past. I've read other people posting that DTH gave them sensual dreams, but I never did, I just got off the wall random, flying Vampire hunter doing flips through trees to save my life and getting that feeling in my gut like I'm doing a steep drop off a roller coaster feeling so jumping from tree to tree was really stressful but I was running from the Vampires even though I was technically the hunter type dreams. Seriously, very off and random.

I don't know what's up with that, but historically, test boosters tweak my dreams in odd directions.

On another note, my back DOMS has spread like a plague throughout the entirety of my upper/middle back and it is TORE! But that's the reward I work for. My Tri's are pretty blown up, too and my bi's went from tight to sore. All & all a good thing. My delts are pretty much recovered and there's nothing going on in my traps, which happens to be my favorite DOMS spot.

As far as bodybuilding supplements, I've tried Venom, at least I think it's called Venom, it's a fat loss/sleep aid, but it didn't workout well.

Otherwise, I have a bottle of Tylenol PM on standby as an as needed basis.

My worst case of pre-sleep anxiousness was in high school the night before hell week started. I was so excited, imagining all the damage I would do that year.

I hear ya on the glute soreness. Heavy Squats and Heavy Deads "used" to get my glutes sore, but not for a loooooong time now.

So you haven't tried those out? I'm asking, because in people's logs it seems to be the norm to get weird vivid dreams. I would imagine that you would have insane dreams specially if using a test booster. Freddy Crooger type ****.

Freddy Kruger type for sure when I was on Nov XT. The DTH has just caused off the wall weirdness.

I wouldn't even mind a whacked out traumatizing one just to make me feel a little more normal, like I actually have dreams in the first place. It's just weird, cuz I probably remember 2 or 3 dreams a year, tops. There's actually a period of my life where I didn't remember a single dream for like 5 years. I honestly thought I actually stopped dreaming. :lol:

You will love that hefty dose of Icariin bro. I usually just take 500 mg. of pure Icariin frm bulk powder. That means I have to take a little over 2 grams worth of the 20% Horny Goat Weed Powder that I use. And I just man-up and swallow it with a water chaser! Yummy. NOT!!! Have you ever tasted it in the bulk powder form? WOW. Nasty. But it is so effective. I take it during my PCT's with Testofen (fenugreek) plus Resveratrol. Great combo.

[all exercises were performed with a 10 second rest between each interval and exercise, as timed by a stop watch]

75 yards high knees out, 75 yards run back in x 3 intervals
75 yards butt kickers out, 75 yards run back in x 3 intervals
75 yards crab run out, 75 yards crab run in x 3 intervals
75 yards back peddle out, 75 yards run back in x 3 intervals
75 yards full sprint out, 75 yards full sprint back x 3 intervals

I decided to crunch in another morning workout before heading to The Firm.

BICEP PEAK

Vertical Preacher, One Arm Db Curls
35lbs Db's x 10 reps, each arm
40lbs Db's x 10 reps, e.a.

Standing EZ Bar Curls

Vertical Curls (on the Lat Pull Down)
[you begin with arms fully extended above your head, curl the lat pull down bar and at the end of the movement your arms will be in a full contracted position behind your neck. This really seems to focus on the peak portion of the bi's. My bi's were filling with blood closer to the top of my bi's, closest to the shoulders. There is no back pull involvement AT ALL, so you must leave the ego at the door on this one, weight is minute compared to "normal" loads]

Yes I returned to the same exercise. I don't ever do this, but the pump I got was much fuller then any other bi's exercise I've ever done, so I wanted to re-live the magic per se.

I could feel the lack of sugar fuel this time, but that's because I increased the HIIT distance from 50 yards to 75yards, which came out to be 800 total yards extra and that one bananer wasn't all that suffice. However, I did power through the workout and I did take a full serving of WHITE FLOOD CAPS again, but since I had that bananer in my system, the WF CAPS didn't kick in for about 50 min. This is the other reason I returned to the Vertical Curls on the Lat Pull Down. On the last set of my last exercise for the day, I finally felt the paresthesia kicking in and I wanted to utilize the effects of the WF on the vertical curl.

I think the vertical curl is my new favorite bi's exercise.

You should. They provide a unique pump toward the middle of the bi's and closest to the shoulders, rather then closest to the forearms, as most biceps pumps workout. Be sure to let me know how you liked or disliked them.

Not that I'm aware of, since I'm not sure what a drag curl is.
You use a barbell and act like you are going to do a bicep curl but instead of doing it normally you keep the bar tight to your body and dragg it up in a kinda curl fashion. Do you get that?
