Body Fortress Protein?

JOHNJESSICA20

Advanced Muscle Science Rep
Well I recetly came across this at my local Walmart and bought, but now wondern what others think about this compared to the higher priced ones out there. I like the fact it has 52 grams of protein and low carbs and the taste is great. I'm wondering though if it really works as well as my usual 55$ brand.

I sometimes pick it up at target. It is decent, and has a few additions on the profile that are interesting. However, you cannot beat the price. So it is worth it for every now and then

for a few dollars more i sometimes get the six star, i think it is basically the same as muscle tech nitro tech for about a third of the price. when i find syntha6 for $22 i stock up, that stuff tastes great.

from what I can tell, they include the creatine and other add-ins in their total grams of protein. So those 52g are actually Xg of creatine mix + Xg of whey.

I don't like that they don't disclose how much of their "mix" is each ingredient, so I try to stay away from it. But it is still a convenient option when in a pinch.

ya the choc flavor is great and mixes well has some bcaas in it 2 just so i get a few more in each day :head:

This stuff is awesome!

WRONG! There is nothing on the label that supports any of this.

I love this stuff. It has alot of extras with the protein. Super Recovery Blend is a nice addition. Creatine, Glutamine,Taurine and BCAAs. The protein is 26g per scoop. Low carbs and fat. Very good IMO.

I also like their Super Creatine Mix. It has NOS blend included with it. Makes an awesome Pre or Post Workout Shake.

I personally like other proteins better and will buy the 5lb tubs of All the Whey, but I mix in the 2lb containers of Body Fortress protein as well. The cookies and cream is good, but gets too sweet after a while. The other flavors are good as well.

I like to use it as a back-up. If I run out before I can order more from ATW, I usually go grab a 21ber of the six star, or bf protein.

the 50g protein they claim is per two scoops, and the scoops are 90cc. I also noticed that on the "proprietary blend" the second ingredient listed was guar gum.... not something I want to pay for in a protein powder.

I'll take ATW - 25g protein per 70cc scoop. If I want a low dose of creatine and a bunch of other crap/fillers, I'll add it myself.

Edit: I'm referring to the six-star. I don't recall the ingredient label on the body fortress protein.... it's been a while.

I have used bodyfortress from time to time but when I have extra cash Ill go for other brands...

Does anyone know who is making body fortress and where are they located? I have always been concerned that its from China...... an mixed with god only knows what.

funny as I actually picked some of this up at Walmart the other day because I was afraid I'd run out of protein at home during the snow and ice storms.. It tastes pretty good, but I'm still a big fan of my EAS protein from Sam's Club.

For the price, you might as well grab a 2lber from ATW and keep it in your cabinet!

AG: off topic, but I see you are from Louisville.. how'd you fare during the ice storms? I'm a bit north west from you and we got hit pretty darn good.

bodyfortress

I have used this protein quite a bit in the past. The taste is good, but I get sick of it and its the nastiest thing ever, if that makes sense. Mixing is good, but you'll notice you have 10g of grainy which stuff at the bottom of each glass. Probably creatine/BCAAs. Either way, I would say it is definetly worth the money.
