haha amazing. I actually just finished one for RPM/Drive. I'm looking forward to the next...just have to wait for the product and such.

I don't know if i'll do as a good a Job as C though...her log looks pretty tight.

How'd you like the rpm drive combo?I'm using them now during pct.I realy liked the feeling yesterday,but today I didn't feel so much.It was leg day though,and sometimes leg days are just a drag regardless.I shall see tomorrow!

I lived in a van once.Well 90% of a van.I was 17 and it was in my parents yard.I hated living with them since 13 and this way I could do whatever I wanted.It was great.I bought it and insulated it and plugged it into their house.They got mad at me one time and unplugged it. :lol: I actually had money for papers,a pipe,and a bong though.I was so depressed it wasn't by a river.....:sad:

Well the moral of the story is that sometimes you have to sacrifice early on in life to become successful later.Now i'm..........ok i'm still broke 5 yr's later.

Ok better late than never, today was back day. I'm always strong on back so its usually a breeze for me.

The trainer found a random fan boy in the gym that she got to train with us..lol She mentioned that we would have to work harder since she wanted to prove her worth as a trainer;)

We did dumbell raises laying forward on an incline bench for 15 reps for 4 sets, then we did single arm for 10 a side. We did single arm at 30 lbs on the cable machine for 15 with a twist motion then immediatly did center rows for 6 reps and then switched arms for the twisted rows for 15 we did 4 sets.

This was supersetted with pop squats. We then did pulldowns with 70lbs once in front and once behind the head for a set of 12-6 in front and 6 behind we did these with crunches for 4 sets.

We did a bunch of weighted fun stuff. But I thrived in it. Tomorrow is arms, lets see if the new guy shows up and hangs with it;)

You know it was funny I was stressed yesterday and got no sleep. Was dead tired when I went in to train, but the competition that she put off on me to push the guy hard in the gym woke me right up. My adrenaline kicked in and I was feeling good the whole workout!!

It happens when my best friend and I train together!! Healthy competition is ALWAYS a good thing IMO!! For instance on cable crossover he'll be like this feels ggod, So i whip out a set of 10 and pause when crossing over (after upping the weight 20lbs or so) afterwards i'm like this feels alright..So, he gets up and has to be ready for the challenge!! I really enjoy this because he helps push me through my weaknesses, and I do likewise!

I really enjoyed the stack. If I wasn't being sponsored for another right now, i'd probably have bought it once to see how I liked it for 6 weeks instead of 3. My results were good and my energy was always up!

C...sounds like a fun time today...keep it up!

i'm kind of jealous of you getting to workout with a a trainer in a group.

I'm thriving in it most o the time. I'm usually a shy person and I freeze up in groups but it is fun sometimes. It really depends on who shows up to train at that time. She has times starting at 5am.

There are certain people that show up every now and then that are hilarious. The time flies by, and when you get somebody new that has been working out on their own for a long time you get the fun of competition.

And I love my trainer, she is a friend out of the gym, but militant in the gym. So my gym time is very productive but yet I enjoy my time there as well. I can train by myself but she pushes me to a level above what I can push myself to do alone. And some of the totally gay looking things she has me do I would not have ever tried.
 
haha.....yeah some of the gay looking moves are only ok when you have a trainer.

it just doesn't look right when you go to the gym by yourself to do those moves that require superhuman catlike balance.

for example: with 2lb weights in each hand, stand with one foot on a stability ball while placing the other foot over your head…..then start spinning your arms in a helicopter motion while simultaneously squatting with the one leg.
 
LOL I hear you on that one. I argue with her about doing them each time she says we have to do something like that;) But I will say this, oddly I'm getting good cuts and new muscle development. So in the end I do it...lol!

Arm day

I did 45 min of arms today we worked out hard, then I did 25 min of cardio and then I did 30 min of Kimoodo martial arts.

How did it screw up your back?
 
I have scoliosis and he wanted us to do all these deep squatting and then twist your upper body all the way around facing the back of the room and hold the stretch .

With the muscle I have and the back stiffness I don't have good flexibility.
 
Well it will be another leg day for me. I'm debating on dropping leg day with her and doing it on my own. I'm not gaining as much on it and with it making me sick well its just making mondays a day I dread.

With how the beautiful the weather's getting (and I should have crappier weather than you, due to the lake), I've been tempted to do a 'creative' leg day outside. Just grab some DB's and what not and go do lunges and stuff outside. People will probably look at you funny (for better or for worse), but it'll at least be a nice change of scenery from the gym.


When you're outside and you yak, it's cool, a racoon will eat it.
 
Leg day was 60 min long today because I was lucky enough to be the only one training! LOL

We started with 4 sets of weighted single legged deads supersetted with walking zig zag lunges.

We then went to single legged presses with leg curls at 80lbs x 10 for 4 sets.

Then I did wide legged squats with 40 lbs for 20 reps supersetted with 80lb leg extensions. 4 sets.

Then I did 3 sets of 30 jumping lunges

Then we did hack squats wide stance with narrow leg press x 44lbs for 20 reps. We did 4 sets.

Then we did 4 sets of calves at 90lbs x 15.

Then I got to leave:)

I used to get sick on leg day too crader.It realy sucks cause leg day can be such a drag to look forward to sometimes,even when not getting sick.It eventually went away though.
 
I upped my dose of Neo and RPM today to 2 caps of each . I work out soon so I took it now. I wanted to see how it helps me for shoulders. I'm tired today so I'm hoping it helps.

I am noticing however that I'm breaking out on this combo. :( Nats wanting me to go with her to the mike Francois classic in 2 weeks. I believe she trying to gear me in that direction:)

You are on the same stuff??? no? I hit up the clen today as well. I'm going up on the scale. Now I can attribute it to muscle gain from the var. If so I'm up 4 lbs. I'm not really any chunkier looking so thats a possibility however I only tend to really hold weight gain over my lower abs anyway.

Well on not on clena t the moment and ill be finished with drive soon...done with rpm and I just started MMV2 yesterday...

Objective observation:

Her abs (upper and lower) are quite prominent. Her back is filled in GREAT, so i attribute it to muscle gain.

I'm trying to mentally decouple the scale. What I mean is I think my waist and other measurements and how I look in the mirror are what counts, and have to just use the scale as a SMALL piece of whether i'm being successful or not. Its definitely hard having been so overweight, I see my weight go up by a couple pounds and start to freak out

I feel the same way sometimes. I know that muscle weighs more but you just get so used to the scale as an indicator of weight loss. And usually its because I'm feeling guilty over a missed cardio or not so good diet and then I look for a reason to punish myself. So the scale is it!

I also get to see Natalie every time I hit the gym and she has very little fat on her anywhere!
 
Yeah, being a man its easier tho. I mean I can't imagine much if any of the men here would complain if their weight went up by 30lbs and it was all muscle. I just have to get used to the idea that I can expect to up a couple pounds of muscle a month, and not be surprised.

Whereas like most women I know you don't want to look too butch ;) and get more attention when you are out
