If you just need a sleep aid, ditch the pain reliever and get some Diphenhydramine... Tylenol is horrendus on the liver.

It is hard to do it justice, but funny nonetheless.

I will have to give diphenhydramine a shot. I have tried melatonin and it is not as effective for me.
 
Busting a nut pre bed puts me right out! Tell mama you need a sleeping pill.
 
Melatonin wears out the receptors failry easy. After all it's already produced in the body. Benadryl is good to getting you to bed but not so good trying to wake up.

you guys really swear by xtend? I have been using PW and BC+EAA for a while, changing off between the 2.

Yea I swear by it. I want to try BC+EAA, but I have to do the math on which is more cost effective. Before BC+EAA came out, Scivation's stuff was the hands down best. It's just extreeeeeeemly cost effective.
 
I might have to buy me some bulk BCAAs because Xtend is pricey. I also like LG's BC+EAA, but the Xtend watermelon flavor has me addicted!

Compared to what? It's really cost effective for the profile IMO. Where else can you dose 12g of BCAA's that cheap. Most BCAA's are nowhere near the profile of Xtend.

I am by no means an expert on the BCAA subject. I would figure with my 2 - 40g protein shakes I am getting enough BCAAs for non workout days and with XTend @ 5 scoops on workout days + my 2 40g protein shakes I figure I am covered there. I know some people go crazy with BCAAs and sip them all day and take them before bed, but I am not sure I will be one of them...yet.

I do think I am going to have to look into Casien though for my pre-bed shake vs going to sleep hungry. Especially like tonight with the wife eating a cinnamon apple dumplin thing....GDit!
 
I've been good with ON's Vassive EA8...450g at 23.99 that gives you 30 servings of 5g 2.1.1 and 5g of EAs per.

It's funny, just don't listen to all the pre hype and expect too much.

Terminator for me was pretty good seeing as I didn't expect much.

Don't have time to do the full Daily write-up tonight so I will get it updated in the morning. So far so good except for dropping major dueces. I have had a few stomach issues this week and today was on the crapper for 10+ minutes. I am hoping that I cleaned out the last of the food/alchohol from Mexico, but I will keep folks posted.

Day 4


Starting Weight: 198lbs

Starting Measurements: Waist 36.75" Belly over belly button: 37.5"

Observations:

I am still pretty happy with the appetite control portion of this product has been very good. The energy kick is noticeable, but not out of control to where I am stimmed out. I have plenty of energy for my workouts, but have not been getting the cardio this week like I prefer.

Workout was Shoulders and Biceps and I was sweating like crazy. The AC at the gym is not great for the Texas summer and I think my body temp was higher anyway so that is a wet combination for me. I typically work out on Thrs AM, but today was my Son's birthday so I took him to McDonalds for breakfast.

Supplements
Lean Fuel Extreme @ 2 caps/day (one AM, one around 11AM)
Whey Protein
Multi Vitamin
Xtend on workout Days
Fish Oil @ 9 caps (I upped the dosage because my joints are sore)
Fiber Chewables



Food today:
7:30AM 40g Protein Shake
Oatmeal with a handful of pecans and a banana.
I worked out at lunch and after went to Chipotle for a burrito bowl (a little rice, both black and pinto beans, double chicken, a little cheese, sourcream and hotsauce)
40g Protein shake with lunch. (Is that too much protein to combine with lunch?)
Afternoon Snack was some almonds
Dinner consisted of some taco seasoned ground beef and mexican seasoned squash.
Finished with a low sugar, 90 calorie yogurt.

Negatives:
Sleep is good now and I slept through the night with no issues. I deadlifted on Sunday and my back has been a little sore since. I guess I will leave that alone becuase I don't want my torn disk to get aggrevated again.

Only other minor issue I have experienced is an upset stomach at times. It is not usually around the dosing so I am not sure if it is related or not. I already feel leaner, but avoiding the scale until Sunday.
 
You should space out the protein shake and lunch perhaps adding it with your snack of almonds. Be careful about how much almonds you are consuming.

Be sure to have water with your meals if you can. Cut the protein shakes to 20g per shake; I'm assuming you are dumping 2 scoops. The body can process about 50g give or take according to certain circumstances per hour.
 
Also on the chipotle I know you may be on the run but that stuff has an insane amount of sodium, not to mention other fats you don't want to be consuming.
 
Nuts are crazy calorie dense. If I ever stop eating nuts, my weight drops like crazy.

I DL'd almost a month ago and my back hasn't been the same since but then again I'm on 4 hours of sleep a day now. :684:

I'm wondering if the stomach issues are a good thing, I'm noticing the same with my set up but I figured its suppose to hurt. :dunno:
