Yup there's lots out there; some are more expensive than others of course, but offers more. If you really work out hard, you might want to spend a bit extra to make sure you've got you're nutrients covered.

animal pak works good for me
Man I gotta agree with all those that said Animal Pak. It works great and is not too bad on the wallet you can get it for about 21 bucks.
animal pak
Another vote for Animal PAK.
I've been on it since early October. I can't really tell why, but I feel better when I take them, plus they help what I'm lacking in nutrient wise in my diet.
Also, you can't really tell if a multi-vitamin is working. It's just like getting a tune up on a new car. You just have to look for the most complete profile in the multi at the best price.
Animal Pack is great but quite a chew. I am good at choking down pills but this takes it to a new level.
Another for the Pak. I have trouble with pills, but it seems like all the pills in the Pak go down without a problem. I have an easier time taking those 11 (11 pills right?) than 2 fish oil caps.
Animal Pak is the best go get it
I just saw a report published that ranked many many multivitamins.
Where did you see that?
where does Animal pak rate in there? In my book it is number one but what do the scientists think?
I take twinlab omega 6 : gnc is horrendous - so is centrum - so is one a day- so is twinlab one. Here's a study posted on another board .....
From Christian Thibaudeau:
A document ranked the top multis available based on quality and proper amount of the nutrients (14 different criteria in all). They tested 510 brands and gave a score from 0 to 100% to each of them. Only 8 out of 510 scored higher than 80%:
- USANA essentials - US version: 96.1%
- Douglas labs - Ultra preventive X: 95.4%
- Vitamin Research Products - Extended plus: 93.1%
- Source naturals - Life Force multi: 92.8%
- Source naturals - Elan '> vial: 91.8%
- USANA essentials - Canadian version: 90.2%
- Freelife - Basic mindell plus: 82.3%
- Life extension foundation - life extension mix: 81.4%
The ''Mega men'' by GNC tested out at ... 21.1%
Centrum at 4.7%
One-a-day active at 4.1%
The Twinlab one at 26.4% (although the Mega6 is at 56% ... still way below acceptable)
NOW foods multis range from 23% to 40%
Whitey (UKI).

The book rated it low because they low dose many things. So even though theres a lot of stuff in it its under dosed according to the book.
USANA has a book called the comparative guide which rates theirs #1 and every other brand not so good.
I'd like to see an unbiased review. I'll do some searching later and see what I can come up with.
Animal Pak is simply too many vitamins for me and too much stuff in them. You don't need all that.
so whats a good multivitamin for someone on a recomp?
animal pak?
