I would adjust my program so that I did indeed have the days off. I find that skiing is a workout in itself, especially if you're gonna be out there all day. You'll probably come back looking fuller and that much more eager to destroy the weights!!

yea man thats what i was thinking..im gonna take it light on legs because Im gonna be snowboarding and i dont wana be too sore. i figure ill workout everyday till fri then take the weekend off

REVIEW AFTER WEEK 1


Well, I have been mighty busy! But I have decided to post up my thoughts after the first week.


Diet- My diet has been pretty good over the past week. I had a day of stuff that I felt like I was cheating myself on, but overall my calories have been between 3000-3500 calories per day, maintaining very close to the original diet I had outlined.

Training- So far my training on TO has been spot on. I have rediculous focus inside the gym, and I never want to leave even tho I know I cant lift anymore. Sometimes I find myself in there for an hour and a half just walking around because I want to attack more weights.

My strength has dramaticaly increased in the first week alone. Granted, this may because I am a PH virgin and I am pushing my limits, but I am putting up some numbers that I never even believed I could.

Libido/Feeling- I have been a hornball, literally. The shitty part is my girl goes to school about an hour away from me and I work full time, so it kind of sucks. None the less I am constantly getting random chubbys all the time. I have an overall sense of well being as well as the much sought after Alpha Male feeling. Walking around I feel like im hyoooge and that no one can do anything or say anything to make me feel any different :boobies:

Muscle Hardness/Apperance/Vascularity- Must I say, when I am at the gym and I got a pump going on it is definatly nuts. My shirts have been getting less roomy and roomy and I have gotten comments asking if I have been gaining weight, that I am slimming down, and that I look alot bigger. These are all comming from overaged women that I work with, so I took them as a compliment. (My buddies asked me how many steroids im taking, and I also took that as a compliment haha).

Vascularity is more pronounced working out, and usually late at night (wierd). A few days ago when I was flexing because I was bored, I noticed alot of new veins comming from my shoulders running through my arms and bicep. Im waiting to cut some more BF and I am sure these will be sticking out errrywhere. My muscles feel full all the time and I am constantly walking around like someone inflated my arms chest and back. I simply love it and I dont want this cycle to end!

Sides/Lethargy- The only problem so far I have noticed, is a few pimples on my forehead ( like 1 or 2). I usually never get any, but If I do i get a few like this maybe two or three times a month, so this may be normal. I have noticed NO other side effects. Lethargy has been pretty bad, but not when I get to the gym, more like later in the day. This has pretty much been solved by dosing two caps in the morning, and 1 cap around 2-3 PM. ( I usually workout around 4).

Conclusion- This being my first PH, I really cant compare it to anything. The only complaing is that my shoulders are dead right now from the deads yesterday. Thats it! I am loving every second of this cycle and I am definatly going to use it again someday. I am up a solid amount of weight, and from what I can tell it is almost all lean. I am going to incorporate light cardio ( 10-15 minutes walking on an incline) for the duration of the log. I want to see if I can elminate some BF in the process because I feel like that is definatly possible :bandit:

ugh.. I think I just had the worst workout ever. I dragged my ass there and when I got there I didn't feel like doing anything. I attempted squats and got 225x8x3.

I did 3 sets of 10 leg press, forget the weight.

some leg extensions, and leg curls

I feel like ****, idk whats wrong with me. I think it might be stress as theres some stuff goin with my girl that I dont wana deal with but I have to anyways.

Newhoo, my workout sucked, probaly had nothing to do with TO but im gonna do chest tommoro and hopefully all will be well.

DAY 10

i completely forgot about that. i feel like my days are all effed up. yesterday i didnt even eat anything after my last meal at 4 except for my usual pre/ post workout shake and a fiber one bar.

Today im gonna POUND down the calories to make up for yesterdays lost ones and the shitty exercise I had. I only got like 4 hours of sleep last night too and thats making me angry.

Egg Bagel
Usual eggwhite omlete with sausuge and cheddar

Pack of nuts that I love so much

steak quesdilla on wheat

chicken sandwhich on wheat

2 tuna afish sandwhiches

then im gonna mow on some more food when I get home if my stomach will let me, and try and kill chest tonight!!

I got home from work, put on my gym stuff..and I fell asleep haha.

I just popped 2 rpm and downed some chicken and rice so im gonna hit the gym up now.
 
if you feel shredded in the mornings but feel bloated during the day its def the increase in food, try chewing your food more than you usually would. some supps that will help with digestion would be gut health or any type of probiotics or digestive enzymes. those will def help with feeling bloated. it doesnt matter how big i get if i feel my mid section is bloated i will hate my body.

DAY 11- ARMS 220 ( +10)!!

Holy ****! Im up to exactly 220 this morning on an empty stomach. Nice!!

My appetite has been sky high as of late, and my workout yesterday was MUCH better than legs the other day.

My libido these past few days has been absolutely rediculous and I want every girl I come into contact with. Before I started the one Ive been bogged down with work and stress and I would really only get excited when I saw my girlfriend on the weekends. After TO, this is no more haha as russian would say Im a legit hornball.


CHEST YESTERDAY-

Now keep in mind I went to the gym after a 3 hour nap, so I was still kind of groggy, but I had alot of built up energy. Today my shoulder and joints are really, really sore. I hope I didnt strain my shoulders by trying to do the 105 pound DB flat bench( I failed miserably). I also crushed my friggen ipod cuz it fell outta my pocket when I threw the DB's on the ground =(. I gotta get a new one now because I literally cant workout without music.

I also did BB incline and decline for the first time in about 2 months. I have been doing laot of DB work instead so it was a nice change up.

Im gonna start putting my PR's in red because I am getting alot of them on this cycle.

Flat DB Bench- 60x12 70x10 80x8 85x8 95x6 105x0 ..=(

Incline BB bench superset with BW Dips- 135x12 155x10 175x8 195x6..Dips- BW 3x10 ( my previous pr was 195x3 pre cycle about 2 months ago)

Decline BB Bench- 135x12 155x12 175x10 195x8 225x4 (Dam even when I was doing decline I came no where close to this)

Pec Dec- 130x12 150x10 170x8 170x6

Decline cable flys- setting 3 or 4 I think, 3 sets of 12 supsersetted with pushups( feet on bench)

I wanted to do some incline flys and then some light cardio but the gym was closing and they were kicking me out =(.

I had a gnarly chest pump going on yesterday and I definatly could feel myself pushing hard through every set. Like I said earlier my shoulders are very, very sore..kinda feel like I may have overpushed my joints, so im gonna load up on the fish oil today

DIET Yesterday

5 Egg whites 1 Whole Egg
3-4 oz of sausauge with 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese
1 egg bagel with vegie butter

9oz Chicken and brown rice

Steak quesidilla with some cheddar cheese on a big wheat wrap

1 pack of Healthy Life nutrtion mix nuts (560 cals, 32g fat, 32g carbs,20g protein)

2 big ole tuna fish sandwhiches on wheat

chicken and brown rice

2 scoops whey in 16oz skim milk

1 fiber one bar

not bad considering I fell asleep for half of the afternoon haha!

doin arms tonight.. I kinda wana change it up because I feel like my bi's are the most lacking part of my body. anyone suggest a nice routine as a change up so to see if i can shock these bad boys into growth?
 
Nice w/o man! I agree about getting some gut health or just some acidophilus. I was very bloated a couple days ago and not pooing very much. Got on some acidophulis and Im back to being regulated. I also was getting a cold yesterday and now its gone. Def give it a try. Its very cheap stuff.

also zottman curls were pretty awesome. Have you ever tried spider curls?
 
havent tried spider curls, never even heard of em actualy

the zottman curls are my new favorite since easy suggested them somewhere. i love em..

i was reading a thread over in the training forum and someone suggest this..

3sets hammer curls:
3sets lying dumbell extensions:

with no rest in between ( ie 1 set db curls 1 set lying dumbell extension for 3 sets)

prob gonna do that, BB curls, skullcrushers, and zottman curls, tri press down

and depending if my arms are dead or not close grip bench maybe

Heres a spider curl - its almost like a preacher curl but done on the other side of the pad. Ive done them on an incline bench too. I felt it really it harder on the incline.

That guy is fukin huge..might try that with some low weights cuz I feel like my arms will be DEAD after what I have planned.

yea might save it for next time. my arms piss me off they just never seem to wana grow. that and when im not pumped their not as hard as i want them to be =(
 
Ever try drop setting your arm exercises? It lets you get more reps with heavier weight. It always gets my arms passed some sticking points.
 
ive nver drop setted anything really, except for chest for the most part.

what do you suggest I do a drop set off? BB curls?
 
Sure. Try drop setting your bb curls. Just dont go too heavy. Heavy bb curls can hurt your wrist. I suggest starting with a weight you know you could get 8 reps with. Then do a set -10lbs of the above weight. Do a third set minus another 10lbs.

that and im gonna try to drop set some hammer curls ( so I get it right, 3 sets of whatever then on my last set drop down and go to failure then drop down more and go to failure)
 
21's are great. I havent done those since HS either.

and yes, you got the dropset method down

DAY-12- WEIGHT THIS MORNING- 220 OFF SNOWBOARDIN FOR THE WEEKEND!.

Hey guys, and slick I updated my status just for you!.

After a long, hard, stressfull week, and since hitting the gym everyday since last friday, Im taking the weekend off to go snowboardin with some of my buddies. My diet/workouts wont be there, but Ill be gettin alot of nice cardio through snowboarding and I will eat as much as possible while there.


That being said, I had a pretty d ecent arm workout yesterday. I picked up a new account at work, so I have been really tired as of late. When I get home yesterday I just wanted to sleep, but I popped 3 RPM and took my ass to the gym. MY strength was alright yesterday, and I had an obnoxious pump for about an hour after the gym.

BB Curl- 65x10 65x10 85x8

21's 60x1 60x1 70x1 ( what a efffin burn my god)

Hammer curl ( 40x8 40x8 35x7) Dropset 30xfailure 25xfailure 20xfailure

Incline DB Curl- 35x12 35x10 40x8 ..drop set 30xfailure 20xfailure

Standing tricept extension- 60x12 70x10 80x8

Lying skullcrushers- 70x10 80x8 90x6

Tri pushdown- i forget what the setting was because their not numbered, but I paused for 3 seconds at the bottom and did all negative reps.


i had a rediculous pump and I couldnt even move my arms. still today their sore as f*ck so I hope I did something right to ge these pesky things to grow!

Ill update this weekend on what im eating, ill prolbaly do a bunch of situps and pushups cuz ill feeel like im putting myself to waste ( i honestly dont think ive missed more than 2 days in the past 6 months).
 
Also thought Id update on measurements..

I dont have my other ones because Im at work but I was really bored and decided to measure my arms haha.

Start of cycle R relaxed was 15.5, as of righ tnow they are exactly 16 inches! thats a .5 increase in just under 2 weeks..gotta love it

My weist has also dropped down in size from a 37 to a 36.4!
