Volcom's Androlean & Androhard Log

ahh cant see videos at work. ill have to check it when i get home.

my current morning supps:

5g fish oil
1.6g Beta Alanine
2g ALCAR
1 B-Complex
1-2g Buffered C
400 IU Liquid E
1g Vit D
1g Ashwaganda

Is it me or does Eric look like a Swedish model in these new ANDRO Series ads on AM. I imagined him to look more like Bill Gates based on how intellectual and articulate he spoke on the radio interviews, but he looks more like a Sven, then a lab rat scientist, crazy.

He shall be referred to as Sven from now on. Or Bjorn. Yeah, I'll go with Bjorn.

Grammar check on that add though!

Cardio: 6 laps around a track

During the first two exercises I was pouring sweat all down my face, off the tip of my nose like I was doing HIIT sprints, but it stopped. I didn't leave the gym with a wet shirt today, which was helpful because I performed cardio outside today.

I need to double check on my Rack Deads from the last time I performed them to see if its a PR or not, but if it is a PR weight wise, it would be compounded by the fact I performed the Racks from a lower position then I have since I began doing them. That would be exciting.

**Update on the Racks**
No, not a PR weight wise, I've actually hit 675 for 5 about 2 weeks ago, however, that was from a higher position (aka shorter ROM). Today's 635 for 3 was from a lower position; at the knee, as oppose to 675 above the knee, so it's hard to compare. Perhaps next week will be more revealing.

i don't mind sweat dripping off my nose, i hate it when it gets in my eyes-that really sucks, lol.:wink1:

lol, I hear that:(

I can stair-climb like Lance Armstrong, but I haven't done real, physical jogging in a VERY, VERY long time. My lungs start to burn around lap 3, lol and my legs become lead weights almost immediately. I've been avoiding jogging as to avoid potential catabolism during my cut, but I think I'm okay only doing 1-2 miles of jogging now, especially since I'm on AH/AL.

UFC 128

Although I was expecting this outcome, I did not expect it to be so dominating and I did not expect that the process would be so hard to watch...

I'm sad Cro cop and Miller loss, but I wanted Jones to win:D

Jones is just too big and athletic, not to mention how wicked his MMA game looks, I can't say stand up and ground game because he is a true all around MMA fighter, the new bread, I think he would beat the snot out of Anderson Silva, he really is the better version of A.S, imo

I can't wait to see Jones beat Evans!!!!!!!!!!!

Dana says tonight was last fight in UFC for Mirko Cro Cop

As much as I love Mirko, Dana is doing him a favor....

Dude you already have 10 pages? Cant wait to see what this stack does. I am sure you will be killin your old records with the DB press and snatch. Subbed as a big man of yours in the MMA Section!

Keeping up my ability to sprint top speed for 100-200 meters and run 800-1600 meters in good time is a huge goal as I get bigger.

Jogging though? f that.

Mirko hasn't been the same fighter since he won the OWGP in '06. That was the halcyon of his career and everything since then has been a disappointment.

I'm a little late but here to see how this helps you out in the contest bro

i dont see how anyone can beat jones besides A Silva. he was kicking shogun from 8 feet away! it wasnt even fair! add to that his wrestling and improving grappling, this dude is the real deal.

Athletically, Phil Davis the tools to beat Jones, but not for another 2-3 years. Davis has the wrestling and grappling to negate Jones in that area, but not the striking.

its funny, i watched the fight with a bunch of brazilians and within 2 minutes they were all saying that shogun has no chance.

Right on man, thanks. Did you catch the fights this weekend? It was a milestone for sure. It certainly showcased the "new breed" of MMA fighters and it was the nail in the coffin for PRIDE legends. Wandy's not the same, Big and Little Nog aren't the same, Mirko, not the same and Rua was the last standing icon of PRIDE. Granted, Rampage and Silva fought in PRIDE, but they weren't icons of PRIDE to the same degree.

Jones is too much.

I'm down to do more HIIT related cardio and I think it's be more beneficial, but for whatever reason, I just haven't gotten into that facet of cardio, short of doing a pseudo version of HIIT on the treadill.

mirko doesnt even look like he wants to be there, n was just collecting pay cheques

Yeah, I love the guy and he'll always carry that nostalgic admiration from his PRIDE legacy with me, but he's not been the same in years and years now. It's sad.

Agreed and he seemed to crumble in multitudes since Gonzaga.

Speaking of kicking. I wonder why Shogun never threw a single kick. Was it his knee issue or he was just never at an effective distance to throw it?; fear of the TD maybe? I think Shogun literally threw one maybe two kicks the whole fight.

Jones knows how to work his reach advantage and it doesn't help that Jones can mix it up well enough to keep an already distance flustered opponent guessing at all times.

After Shogun was wobbling and walking toward Jones like he'd just pounded a bottle of Bicardi 151, I knew it was going to be a bad night.

So this is where the party is lol.

:fest30:

Thanks Rick. I'm hoping it'll help a lot, but we're getting pretty close to its conclusion, so I dunno, might be too late, but we'll see. I'm still grinding it out.

Just so you know you're required to go back and read from the beginning. :p

Lol and proof for grammar.

His last fight against Feijao was the best I've seen him look in a long time.

I only saw highlights, and it looked pretty good. How do you feel about the theoretical Fedor/Hendo fight? I don't see Fedor cutting down to 205, but given Hell does freeze over, who would you pick?

There's a greater chance of me winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning at the same time than that fight happening, so I haven't given it any thought.
