LOL The rest will have done you some good. I know you didn't really want to take a break. I concur. But think of it as a future investment that will pay dividends later down the road. I've only got 1 more week of blasting before I take my self-prescribed 2 week cruise period. That peroid works wonders for rejuvenation. :thumbsup:

My energy level was fine, but my strength felt lacking. I think in about one or two more sessions, I'll be back to normal. I feel like I'm making the nueromuscular familiarization all over again. Perhaps not all over again, the motions still feel like home, I think it's the neuron firing and motor recruitment that simply needs some greasing of the gears. There's a strong to even stronger chance I'm going to go back to the gym later today. We'll see how things fair later on.

Day 30; Second Workout: Teen Forearmicide Hotline

Today was a Forearm focused session. I love these. I'm more excited by forearm development then biceps. Developed biceps seem so generic to me now, everybody has them, but the finer tune ups, like defined extensors, prominent brachioradialis and thick flexors are what impress me and what I stride for. I have a good sized upper arm and of course the desire to add to that foundation will always be there, but forearms are more then a desire, but more so a passion, so I love forearm days.

I wished my forearms looked the way they did in mid-contraction, all the time. The separation, contour and veinage really fire me up.

I think it's interesting how different parts of my body react so differently. Some muscle groups are damn near free-bees that require minimal attention, yet they excel, and other muscle groups receive excessive attention, but the benefits are quite slow to manifest.

My tolerance to White Flood seems to be excelling by bounds at this point. 30 straight days of dosing anything will create a serious, cumulative expression of the Law of Diminishing Returns (not to mention I'm hyper-stim tolerant). The White Flood is still the most useful for mental focus and mental motivation, but the only physical effects taking place now is the upkeep of the Beta Alanine.

I've been dosing 8 grams of Beta-Alanine all pre-workout. It feels like hot pins and needles. It's like lightening running through my veins. And you know I'm down with that!! I will say that I always take my dog for a walk before I workout. It helps to warm me up as well. It's starting to get cold here in good ol' Tennessee. On those cold ass mornings when I'm walking, it seems the cold is magnified by the effects of the paresthesia. I shiver like a little beeyatch. LOL

Paresthesia is a much different experience for me personally, then most people it seems. First off, yes, I do still get the paresthesia, but I am able to dose all 8 caps at once without feeling like Scarab Beetles from the movie, The Mummy are crawling beneath my skin. I can get paresthesia to the point of drawing blood from my skin and lining my body with tiger stripes from my nails. Not to mention when those scratch marks elevate and swell, then I look like something from the X-files (or Fringe, to bring the TV shows more up to date).

Paresthesia is not a pleasant thing for me. I've had to so intense that it simply ruined my workout because I couldn't focus on anything but the itchiness and the frustrations from not being able to tear my skin off and alive the hellacious tingling. I of course, seem to be the only person on this entire board to express experiences like these, so lucky me.

It took me awhile to build my tolerance to a bearable threshold, so I'm fine now. Thanks for asking though.
 
The very first time I took Beta Alanine I felt that same way, but by the second dose it pretty much went away completely. I've never really had problems with it since then.
 
General Information

During my leave of duty, I did continue with the White Flood CAPS, as I am on a 40 day sponsored log, therefore, I have an obligation to remain on a consistent track of intake.

However, I did stop the DTHC/Sunami/Icariin-50 for the 7 day leave of duty. I'll be starting that back up tomorrow. During this run, along with previous Get Diesel runs, I've always ran DTH at 6 caps a day and would peak with 8 caps a day. However, it seems most people (ran DTH) run DTHC 4 caps a day, especially if they are running it alongside Sunami. More is not always better, but when it came to Get Diesel supps, it seemed to be my motto. I'm going to see if running 4 caps DTHC/2 caps Sunami, feels any better or worse then my previous, 6 caps DTHC/3 caps Sunami.
 
How did you like doing 8 caps/day? I never went that high, but wouldn't be opposed to it.

DTH was the second supplement I purchased when I first found AM. My first AM inspired purchases were Gaspari's Halodrol Liquigels (which in retrospect is gay, but I gained some legitimate strength on that stuff) and DTH has my light PCT (which I actually gained more strength on).

I was sold on the DTH by my first readings of logs, write ups, following chucks posts, so my expectations were well into the clouds. I'd taken plenty of supplements before, but everyone at AM sounded so damn smart, and I'd NEVER heard of some of these companies, so I thought I'd struck gold. I also hadn't learned to apply a heavy spoon of reality to a lot of what was being reported. By my readings, I was expecting DTH to be like original Androstene. The monstrous aggression, the outrageous strength gains, random acts of Titanium woodies, the overwhelming alpha male complex. I got none of that at 6, so I upped it to 8 and still I wasn't as violent as I'd expected to become. Perhaps 8 caps did have a lot of great effects, but I was waiting for the posts i read to manifest in my experience and it did not, to the extent of my expectations, therefore, my experience could have been drowned out by an over reaching expectation.

Orrrrrr..... It could just be me. I'm theorizing there is just a threshold for myself. Which is why I want to try dosing 4. I felt no difference between 6 and 8 caps, personally, and I will asses how 4 feels, but of course, Sunami is a new element in the mix, so....

One of the reasons why it is so EASY to procrastinate on training those most frustratingly lazy-growing muscles. It just doesn't seem to be worth the effort :ntome:

My two slowest responding muscle groups are my forearms and my traps. At this point, both are above average in development, but I definitely have not reaped what I've sown. Both my traps and forearms ought to be eye catching apparent, but they are simply "good" not "great." Such is bodybuilding. However, I do have other muscle groups that seem to exceed what I've sown, such as my chest and bi's. My chest and bi's seem bigger and more developed then they should be, meaning, you'd think I could bench more then I can or curl more then I can judging by development alone. I do work hard of them, but so does everybody else, and I see a lot of flat chested people who work respectably hard for it. My back seems to be pretty fair and equal in responding to what I invest. Que Sera Sera.

As much as I do, I'm not very prone to DOMS except for very exceptional occasions. HOWEVER, I get chest DOMS "eeeeeevrey" single time, which is odd (so I've been told).

I'm so sorry. Trap DOMS are by far the sexiest of all DOMS. I love having them.

Cleans will the FIRST time I do them, but apart from that, only when I combine heavy shrugs with heavy deads on the same day do I get trap DOMS, and I can't do Deads at the moment.

I agree, trap DOMS are the sexiest.

Grab a light weight with a partner, do 1 rep you, 1 rep him, 2 reps you, 2 reps him ... up to 11 (or whatever) and back down again. In total its like 100+ reps. I did that on Thursday with reverse grip and my forearms are still hurting despite me rubbing jow into them three times a day.

Hah, I used to think something was wrong with me. When I first started going REALLY heavy and hard on legs, I got up and nearly fell over. Now I know to sit there a bit while I get my equillibrium back and the ringing in my ears subsides, lol.

Speaking of dizzy... my doc put me on Prednisone for my neck injury, and it totally f**ked me. I ended up too dizzy to drive for a few days, and got off the crap. I still went to the gym on leg day, and nearly fell over on squats like an idiot, making the pain worse. Spent the day on hack machine and leg presses... Did some research on Prednisone before taking it and was dubious, that sh*t is dangerous. I took it anyways, because my neck hurt so bad. Never again. The real remedy seemed to be bent barbell rows, as on chest/back day I felt better immediately following a set. Still in a ton of pain, but nothing I can't deal with I guess.

It gets surprisingly hard when you hit the decline. We use like 40lbs on an easy curl bar and it's sheer pain at the end!

Sam might have to use more weight of course!! :D

When you hit the peak, you've already done 66 reps in the span of about 3 minutes. Then you have another 66 reps to go. The last set of 1 rep is usually a full body "heave-ho"

I don't think its a joke man. They don't look like they are in too great of shape.

The Smurf lookin motherf*cker almost collapsed his knees on the 4th or 5th set, and the other dude did a full "lean back" and damn near crapped himself.
 
the one guy has some videos up of him at a powerlifting meet with some impressive lifts but i still don't know about the video...

Day 32; First Workout

I intend on hitting a double session today, so I hope all goes well to allow that to happen.

This morning was one of my best "feeling" workouts since my return. This would be day 2 of my return on DTHC/Sunami and I don't know if strength improvements are suppose to occur this quickly, I already felt much stronger this morning, then I did on Saturday. I performed delts and traps on Saturday and the trap movements felt heavy and weak. This morning, although I only performed traps, I've performed traps only days lately without feeling this good. I wasn't stronger then I have ever been before on shrugs this morning, but i felt like my strength was back on the wagon and that's a good start from feeling like shite on my lifts all weekend long.

I wanted to initiate a Back workout following all of my shrugs, but I still have slight DOMS in my lats from last week (Friday or Saturday?). Today was suppose to be a Back day, but I was still sore, so traps it was.

Triceps later today if my schedule permits.

The Law of Diminishing Returns is in it's full expression with the White Flood CAPS. I still feel mental boosts, but my Stim tolerance to any form of caffeine is that of a black hole now. I envelop caffeine and it simply disappears into nothing. My tolerance to anything else energizing is not quite a black hole, but perhaps a worm hole. There is still a cause and effect, but who knows where its ending up. My point being, I am as stim tolerant as I am paresthesia hyper-sensitive. I'm very extreme in both accounts. I don't ever take any type of stim beyond 30 days and that's because usually, by day 20 I'm swallowing placebos. Up until my system became a Black Hole, the White Flood CAPS served me insanely well. Even when my stim tolerance was forming, White Flood was still offering that mental boost to provide some energy enhancing effect.
