Viagra vs. Cialis

My doc wrote me a prescription for Viagra, however, I am curious if Cialis is better or much different? I realize Viagra is meant to be used right beforehand and then up to 4 hours while Cialis can last up to 36 hours (the weekender).

However, beyond that is there any other advantage of one of the other. Either have any better effect for going 2nd or 3rd round?

If you are putting it through your insurance to cover it, seems Viagra might be more cost effective if you go with the 100mg tabs and break them in half, while the Cialis typically would come in 10mg tabs.

Viagra is clearly the more potent PDE-% inhibitor, but with that comes a faster spike in bp whether it be an increase or decrease, along nose bleeds, constant erections, and fatal reactions at high doses.
 
They both accompany the same sides and they are both very effective. Just one fits a certain lifestyle, while the other fits another lifestyle.

Obviously it depends on your body. Cialis stays in my system for well over 36 hrs usually, and I can feel it for multiple sessions. Viagara I can feel for about 8 hours.

I only feel the side effects about half the time, but when I do, viagara sides tend to be more extreme. I experienced the worst headache of my life because of viagara.
 
So, pick which one fits your lifestyle. If you know exactly when you'll be having sex; take viagara. If you're like me and your sex is spontaneous and all over the place; take cialis.

Never tried either but why not try a heavy dose icariin cycle? No sides apart from an "energy effect". High dose long cycle potent stuff - check the link. Its a potent PDE5 inhibitor pick up a tub of 40% at Nutra for not much.

One of the designers as well such as Perform (AI), and I think APPNUTT have something.

I think if its a long term thing natty is better - and don't underestimates its strength.
 
Actually looked into Icariin first, but didn't want to mess with capping it. Any caps you can suggest?

You can get capped icariin anywhere its just Nutra powder icariin I can recommend as quality. Try Perform and see?

Once you get the hang of capping its easy - using a capping machine. There's technique that you need to learn (for a cheap capping machine). You can cap by hand just slam the cap in the tub, turn it upside down pull out and cap.

Don't try eating it raw - you get away with for a few days but after 1 week it catches up on you. I still remember the taste
 
iicarin never did anything for me personally, even at heavy doses but I have tried Viagra once and will NEVER use it again. Oh the joy was pure awesome but my body quit before Mr Johnson did ... I was out on the floor, passed out with a fan directly on me with the AC blasting cold air....heart pounding, and sweaty. I thought it was the end of times ...

Viagra will cause Mr Johnson to last much longer than your body will unless you break it in half or a quarter. Anyone who is "normal" must use less than a full dose. Only if you are "abnormal" should you use the full dose. I was just doing it for trials.
 
Suppose I fall into the "normal" category and 50mg seems good; as for "abnormal" I guess you mean for some reason you need twice as much to make it work? :dunno:

I personally think Cialis is a lot better than Viagra... Mainly b/c of the longer half life and the fact that its the only ed pill that works with alcohol lol. Also, I never get headaches with Cialis as opposed to Viagra.

Really, I find Viagra kicks butt with Alcohol :D

I could smash nails into a piece of wood after taking eother I love em both!

Haha... I thought I read something that said Cialis was the only proven ed med to work when alcohol is your system. That might have been broscience or an uncredible source I cant say for sure. But hey good goin then !

The dose that is on the prescription is for abnormal function meaning people who actually NEED the drug. If it is 50mg, you will not need nearly that much of true Viagra, if it is 100mg then you will not need nearly that much of true Viagra. The common practice is to cut the dose in half to asses tolerance, or even 1/4 (if you have a pill splitter).

If you have a medical issue then you will need the prescribed amount. The equivalent of icarrin, cannot mimic Viagra in the least. I've tried Icarrin every way possible and it has never did anything for libido or staying power. I have also tried others (5 people) on Icarrin for libido purposes and never anything substantial. This does not prove that it WILL NOT WORK but proves that medical prescribed is a definite choice for true actions.

NOTE: If you stay "standing" for too long, you may need medical attention. I believe it is 3 hours however, it's been years since I tried it so I cannot remember. This is the reason someone who really does not need it should never take the prescribed amount.
 
Enough broscience. Icarin is a joke next to Viagra. I chewed off a quarter and was amazing, cialis I took full 20 mgs I believe and was very watered down. Viagra is very potent an well worth it. Start small (no pun) for potency.

I'll second this!

I have a few tubs of the NP 50% bulk Icariin and I've taken large doses of it with little benefit in that arena. If I take over 50mg of viagra then I feel like I'm in highschool... random wood for the next 10 hours or so. I do like taking it about 30 minutes before bed; then I can still wake up with some amazing morning wood and hit my gf up for another round to start the day right.

I made the mistake of pop'n a 100mg tab of viagra once...that was the worst headache of my life!
 
With Cialis, I sometimes get the red flushing of the cheeks, and sometimes I also get the red eyes. With Viagara, I get the same accompanied by a massive headache that is unexplainable.

But these side effects don't come all the time.



There are some supplements out there that are mainly libido boosters, with things like horny goat weed.... but they are spiked with PD5 inhibitors like Viagara (and no, they dont tell you this).

My connect has a few of the supplements and he's going to get me the names. Ill gladly share.

its generally hydration and histamine levels. Nowadays unless I really dose high, I don't get them because I make sure i'm well hydrated and take a couple benadryl with em
 
Not saying this in any negative way at all, but i notice that alot of people on this site use viagra and cialis. Some of these people i find out use it are people who i speak with in other threads about suggestions on supps and what not. It is kind of suprising to me, i was not aware that these drugs are so commonly used. Could the reason for many people on this board who use these drugs be due to problems they have developed with other supplements that they use for strength and physique benefits?

What exactly is the purpose of benadryl?

maybe, but likely as well there is a difference between performing like normal, and performing like a pornstar :)

as an antihistamine, it tends to reduce both the feeling of flushing, and any nasal congestion that some people get with viagra or cialis
 
So for 50mg of viagra, 25 or 50 mg of benadryl? Both taken the same time?

Whilst I've no experience with these drugs I'm going to disagree with icariins potency...

What I found was it took 2-3 weeks for icariin to really kick in and when it did there was no question of its potency. After the first week of icariin I noticed its "energy effect" but it dropped after 2 weeks or so. The libido effect after week 4 was too potent for me.

Some people are clearly instantly affected by icariin, but others need a cycle. I think the mistake with icariin is to assume if it doesn't happen like Viagra it ain't any use. Few herbal preps work like a pharmacological drug - except perhaps ginseng.

I was actually logging icariin thinking it would boost test - it didn't - but it sure boosted something else...
 
I'd say its a "what works for you" its still not 100% clear what exactly causes that side effect, so possibly an antihistamine, possibly another allergy med
 
I took 20 mg pill of Cialis last night b4 went out for valentines dinner. Got MASSIVE congestion. No benefit in libido what so ever. Big disappointment! VIaGRA all the way.
 
Interesting...ever tried some Benadryl with it?

Also, what effect would NOW DOPA Mucuna have on it?

I have the liquid forms of both. I prefer Cialis over Viagra, for the fact that it's much easier on my system. With Viagra, nasal congestion is an issue, as well as the BP/headaches. With the liquid's, I can tailor my dosage much easier as well.

I got the worst nasal congestion in my life from Cialis and none from Viagra.

i love viagra.. had some issues with it at first, heart pounding, face flushing, now i use it more times a week sometimes at 50 mg and no issues

cialis never worked for me but i may have had a fake one, and then i got aspire36

i still have 6 or so of these aspire36 pills

these heavily impact my body so i only take them on weekends

the wood... well it's completely insane! that's why i try to save these babies for special weekends

At my age, TRT + Cialis from time to time has really been worthwhile. In between Cialis scripts (which I prefer to Viagra) I had tried some online "generic" cialis a while back and got nothing out of them, absolutely a rip off. I was curious if anyone found any generic that actually worked and perhaps I just hit a scam website. Also, has anyone tried the "research" viagra or cialis with positive results. The reason I ask is, as you know, the $$ difference between the real deal and the generic/research is HUGE. (You can PM me).

I am also considering asking my doc for the 5mg "daily cialis" which gets you "full coverage" at a reasonable price - about $160 a month.
