Viagra vs. Cialis

At my age, TRT + Cialis from time to time has really been worthwhile. In between Cialis scripts (which I prefer to Viagra) I had tried some online "generic" cialis a while back and got nothing out of them, absolutely a rip off. I was curious if anyone found any generic that actually worked and perhaps I just hit a scam website. Also, has anyone tried the "research" viagra or cialis with positive results. The reason I ask is, as you know, the $$ difference between the real deal and the generic/research is HUGE. (You can PM me).

I am also considering asking my doc for the 5mg "daily cialis" which gets you "full coverage" at a reasonable price - about $160 a month.

well, this generic was pharmaceutical out of canada, not some crazy website. But Viagra goes generic this year anyhow, so its price should plummet.

You need to try 20mg cialis, 10mg isn't sh-t. I wouldn't recommend mixing the two, but I have before and was ok.

The only benefit to combining those two would be altering the time table or taking advantage of the half-lives of each; but at the end of the day, Viagra still only lasts 3-4 hours, though some say it hits quicker and harder...and cialis lasts up to 36 hours, with primary effects in the first 24 hours.
I can see benefit doing this and then I can't. ImHo I would say the smartest approach, for both treating a problem or for sexual enhancement, would be to take horny goat weed 60% ICARIIN ONLY, no weaker extracts, plus cialis as needed or 5 mg daily.

The science behind this is clear, icariin downregulates pde-5 expression while cialis binds and inhibits what is left floating around. It's like the concept of increasing the number of dopamine receptors with tianeptine and then raising dopamine to take full advantage of that increase. Only here you are talking the opposite since PDE-5 you don't want to increase the expression of, but decrease, leading to more permanent results and permanent changes in vascular structure/pathology.

To further investigate the mechanisms of action of icariin (ICA), we assessed the effects of ICA on the in vitro formation of cGMP and cAMP in isolated rabbit corpus cavernosum. Isolated segments of rabbit corpus cavernosum were exposed to increasing concentrations of ICA and the dose-dependent accumulation of cGMP and cAMP was determined in the tissues samples by means of 125I radioimmunoassay. Responses of the isolated tissues preparations to ICA were compared with those obtained with the reference compounds sildenafil (Sild). Furthermore, the effects of ICA on the mRNA expression of specific cGMP-binding phosphodiesterase type V (PDE5) in rat penis were also observed. After incubation with ICA for 6 h or 14 h respectively, the levels of PDE5 mRNA were examined by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The results showed that ICA increased cGMP concentrations directly (P < 0.05), but there was no significant effect on cAMP concentrations (P > 0.05). In the presence of sodium nitroprusside (SNP), a stimulatory agent of cGMP, both ICA and Sild increased cGMP concentrations with increasing dose (P < 0.01). Their EC50 was 4.62 (ICA) and 0.42 (Sild) micromol/L respectively. Under the same condition, ICA and Sild unaltered cAMP level significantly (P > 0.05). There were PDE5A1 and PDE5A2 mRNA expressions in rat corpus cavernosum with PDE5A2 being the dominant isoform. ICA could obviously inhibit these two isoforms mRNA expression in rat penis, and decrease PDE5A1 more pronouncedly (P < 0.01). The present study indicated that the aphrodisiac mechanisms of icariin involved the NO-cGMP signal transduction pathway, with increasing cGMP levels in the corpus cavernosum smooth muscle. The inhibitory effect of icariin on PDE5 mRNA expression, especially on PDE5A1, might account for its molecular mechanisms for its long-term activity.

Also as you see on my Invalid Link Removed, more studies relating to this...there is contraidictory research with cialis , some studies show upregulation of pde-5 over time (not good) others show downregulation...in either case, the effect of combined icariin daily, and cialis is so damn good you would be wondering how you never tried the combination before.

You see because most would just assume there is no point because the simple minded just assume "there'd be no point, they are both pde-5i's" ...but in fact, they are different and yet the same - icariin downregulates genetic expression leaving less overall for cialis to inhibit..which also renders one more sensitive to cialis...and if indeed cialis also downregulates pde-5 like the main studies...then not only is there SYNERGISM between the two..but you may very well end up knocking out pde-5 semi permanently or at the very least, permanent decrease the amount of pde-5 in your body.
