USPS international gone nuts?

USPS international shipping (to Australia) has officially gone nuts.

Now charging the same as Fed Ex!

$41 for a $60 order - can't do it NutraPlanet - what's a loyal customer to do?

I agree, but still. Something is not right.

I dont miss those shipping charges when i was in Germany!

No way..

I dont know .. but another company I get items from can send me 15 bottles for a flat rate of 40US..

I dont get how all of this works to be honest with USPLABS..

Ah, here is the catcher MrBig - it's 1kg of USPowders new product, so maybe that's the issue.

Could be jumping the gun on this - still mighty high though! :bandit:

damn, i feel bad for you international guys.
rates are calculated by weight. it's typically a flat rate up to 10lbs. with 1kg of powder you are probably only at 1-2lbs.
it probably doesn't makes sense to purchase a single product just to pay almost 1/2 for shipping. i would personally wait until you had a bigger order to place.

We're looking into USPS First Class mail instead of priority, which should help with costs .

I never had a problem with USPS, but what is up with Fed Ex? They send my order to ottawa, it was supposed to be in yesterday, then they send it back to Indianapolis.IN. I hope I get my order :(

Hopefully that should help a bit.

where are you from?

We're both in Australia - there's probably no place further from Nutraplanet

Hopefully that should help a bit.

Throw in a sh1tty exchange rate and we're really missing out on the fun . .

. . but Hank's right - save up with a bigger order, and even better, team up with someone to share the cost :bandit:

Fed ex rates were lowered recently so that it is almost the same as USPS now.
We are looking into first class mail, but there are some restrictions on it and we are trying to figure out if it is feasible.

Fedex is useless, unless you want 50% of orders being returned.

Im sure NP are working their hardest, but as above.. shitty exchange and then super high shipping, even for a big order I paid 150-160US in shipping.. thats $250AU.. Its crazy..

:( I can fly return to LA for $1000AU including taxes... thats my big arse and my 25kg suitcase.. I dont get USPS and FEDEX CHARGES!

:D

I've said it before, but there has been SOOOOO many times when I wanted to place an order, but it just wasn't worth it when the shipping is MORE than the actual product. Can't wait for np to fix their shipping (hopefully), then its on!

Agreed with all that - I would never use FedEx. Until the exchange rate eases up it's hard to justify any purchases :bandit:
