Because they target different areas than normal shrugs, not only areas on the traps but also the back of the shoulders. Preferably this should be done in the smith machine.
I only do these a few times a year, I will give them a try in the Smith Machine next trap workout.

So I've been sick forever, been coughing and ****, I go to the pharmacy to get something more legit and I get some effervescent tablets (Nac). I might as well save it for the next oral cycle, Christmas is here haha

After the holidays, full body workout.
One exercise of each body part x 3 sets.

Today was:
*Dips BW 26/20/24
*seated row underhand grip 235lbs x14/10/10
*smith squats 225lbs x15/10/12
*cross over lateral cable raises 30lbs x12/13+3/10+4
*face pulls, fists up: 50lbs x14/14/12, regular: 75lbs x15/12/12

Ah, almost forgot...
MrKleen73 , I did dragon flags. Had to help getting up with knees bent, but can hold stretched out for about 20 seconds at a strenuous angle (good form). Will do negatives for awhile until I get up with straight legs.

Here some progress pics, will post them to the challenge forum too.

I can see some muscles on my leg. Since both knees are "kaputt", this is an achievement for me. Could be better -but just seeing some separation gives me an orgasm. :)

Dragon Flags I really feel in my lower abs.

MrKleen73 turned me in to these about 2 months ago. What a game changer. Once you get comfortable, you can start tweaking them a bit. Roll on right hip to isolate left side and vice versa, roll on left hip to isolate right side. Open legs on downward strain, all good stuff.

Too lazy to write it down, did full body, including dragon flags (negatives).

Highlights were incline press machine 21's with 85kg (187lbs) and smith drag curls with 135lbs.

Gained some new muscle mass. Considering that I was on TRT'ish (250mg/w test)with 25mg/d winstrol for half of the cycle, not bad at all!

I think so too, not bad. Trying now to cut again, using intermittent fasting -while changing macros around ( low carb, fat up, protein high).

I think I have proven that it is not the amount of gear that dictates the outcome. Its a combination of diet, training (especially rest, as I could not realize my plan to do feeder sets consistently ) -and the "right amount" of gear (as low as necessary) . Feeling really good on 250mg test/w and 25mg wini/d - a laughable amount for so called "professional bodybuilders".

Cable crossover low pulley partial lateral raises 5 sets
leg extensions 6 sets
overhead triceps cables and cable biceps 3 sets each

How is it taken ?
Sub-q to the belly, like pinning slin, no brainer.
Dosage depends on your skin type. If you can get a tan naturally, you will need:
1mg/day for 2 weeks, after that 0.5mg e3d to keep the tan.
If you are like me, who NEVER gets a tan -but get burned, turns red and skin peels, you may need:
1mg/d for 4 weeks.

You must "activate" it by 5-10 min sun exposure, 20 min after pinning. Not doing so results in a "dirty tan", like greyish skin.
Be aware:
-moles get darker, very visible in the beginning, until surrounding skin gets dark too
-it might get you some stomach discomfort after pinning, easily avoided by taking a OTC antihistamine an hour before.
Some get it, some (me) not.
-it might give you erections all day (Yeah baby!)
-it might turn you anorexic (curbs hunger) , did it for me the first couple of month, now gone.

I was debating before but I actually do get tan even if it takes me a little longer than it does for my argentinan fiance haha. It really looks natural I must say. I once got betakaroten, not sure about the spelling or name in English.. Basically carrot tablets, turned orange :D

Haha yup or tanning lotion. Carotene is what it's called yeah.. They just don't work on us white boys if we don't have some base to start with :D
