Companies really don't want honest opinions do they? If you do then send me some stuff, you'll get a log and real feedback... or just keep giving dudes liek this a free ride.
it seems to be the "sweet spot" for me in a couple ways. The carb blend isn't all waxy maize so I wanted to shoot for 15-20 grams intra. This is what I have done when I would mix waxy maize with eaa stack in the past, and is the best. The fullness and recovery is best.It comes out to what? 5 grams waxy maize a scoop?
same thing with Torrent after about 2 weeks I went to 3 1/2 scoops right after training. So whenever I am use torrent, from then on I would use 3 1/2 scoops. My body responds very well to waxy maize.I saw a signifigant increase in muscle fullness and recovery even with just a half scoop( and recovery and fullness is already pretty good with std3 scoops torrent!)
also the flavor is a bit more strong with 2 scoops in 24 oz of water then 40 or whatever.Good stuff!
I guess thats why people like Box/Drz get picked so often is because the company will get a BS favorable review.
I'd like to know as well...
Joebo - Let me know how they compare. I was wanting to try Intrabolic but keep putting it off. I love Animal/Universal though. So gotta let me know.
For what its worth (haven't tried intrabolic) I've been really enjoying Intra-Aid.
How's the taste? I don't mind the flavor being shotty if I just have to down it at once, but for a intra/peri workout product that I sip on, I need to enjoy it.
I have been using CBB torrent and it seems to be helping recovery, but the flavor, well, that leaves a lot to be desired.
Which ones CBB? I've got the green apple and it tastes like jolly rancher.
It's a sad day when you see the bottom of the tub approaching isn't Dr Z? LOL! It's interesting how everyone likes it mixed a little different. Some guys like it thicker and stronger like you do and others like it more watered down. That is the great thing about a powdered "mix it yourself" supplement though. You have complete flexibility in this area.
Hg
Why have you not being able to eat as much?
It is a very sad day when you see the end of a supp tub.
I feel you on the cooking/prepping meals. I've been slacking with that and order too many 'to-go' meals lately. Get back in the kitchen, it's worth it.schedule has been so hectic,im so tired to make meals.Getting to gym very late at night is enough of a task, lol.Im trying though bro!
yea I usually try to be stocked up!
Chili, Stew, and Meatloaf. My student trifecta. That and my monster omelet and porridges lol.I feel you on the cooking/prepping meals. I've been slacking with that and order too many 'to-go' meals lately. Get back in the kitchen, it's worth it.

not really my recipe (just slightly modified), but the best chili i've ever had. P.S. if its too hot for you, add a couple squeezes of lime.
so many different sources of protein here also.
if you can't bulk with this, you're probably screwed. good log DrZ
* you guys are not going to believe this one, lol.I got a call last night, and the guy asks me if I remember entering a raffle around labor day at some fair,I said uh don't think so? then he said the name of the company and I said oh yea...he goes great well you won! lol ***I won a freezer full of meat!!!!!*
I must have done something right or treated someone nice, the big man upstairs hooked me up! I couldn't believe it.Steaks, chopped meat..etc....the chili will be plentiful!
I will have to talk to a friend that goes hunting to keep me in mind for a little venison, that recipe looks top notch! thank you!
I will post more later on today at some point! have to run for now!
thank you again! I appreciate it!
Great review, bro!!!:head::head::head:lol It would be my pleasure fellas, trust me it would.Bad news is,I called them back and turns out it is a $100 gift certificate towards your first purchase, sneaky sneaky lol.Told him no thanks I like where I get my meat.
so anyway im all done with my intra-aid and it is time for my final write up!
1st off, thanks to every single person who took some time to check out the log, thanks.Glad ya were on board.
on to the final write up.......
going into it I knew it couldn't be bad since Universal made it.
how good is the question? and would I like the carbs intra? etc etc so here we go...
TASTE:
the taste is real delicious and refreshing, not a strong sour blue raspberry and not a non existant flavor. It is in the middle,a little bit of sweetness and fruity blue raspberry to it,good going here for sure!
MIXABILITY:
now keep in mind there is waxy maize starch and a nice amount of other things in this profile. So with that being said, it is really, really good. You do not even have to mix for 10 seconds, you can even play around with the amount of water.IT mixes really well,I was even surprised with this to be honest. It mixes just as good as anything else.
ENDURANCE: it shines big time here, especially the longer you use it.INfact the last week or so it became real profound.I made sure to order a new tub so I w ouldn't go long with out it,Im hoping to get another tub in the next few weeks so I can run two tubs back to back without missing a day. Those last 3-4 reps have never came with more ease! really,it is impressive here.It helps mentally too, even if you give up mentally it just seems your body pushes further.Nothing kills ya more mentally when your body gives up last rep or so.
A+ all the way in this dept!
PUMP: I for one get a great pump from beta alanine type supplements, combine that with everything else in the product and it gave me a signifigant pump a good 25-30 min into the workout!
RECOVERY: recovery was through the roof especially after a couple weeks, more stamina during workouts and DOMS was pretty much non existant from there on out!
<<< I was using a creatine product for most of the duration of this tub,but stopped a about a couple weeks from today. With that being said I gained almost 5 lbs.My body has always responded well to waxy maize/whey hydro combo.Very powerful and underrated combo here,on top of everything else, great product!
I HIGHLY suggest you give it a try,you certainly do not have to use 2 scoops on training days or 1 scoop on non training days to see results! it really is an all in one bodybuilder workout drink! hydration,recovery,stamina,endurance,etc...
give it a shot for sure!
Thanks for the review; I'm looking into when this will be reaching NP finally.
