Universal Intra-Aid.....

Strong as hell!

I don't think it's too strong,One week out of the month I do a light week.This would be that week.

although considering it is DC,I would not say it is weak either.

perfect form,DC style...give that routine a shot.There are many that have tried and don't get through it all,quads/hams/calves/tris/..I have had people throw up and get sick big time 20 min into it.

there is a reason a lot don't train DC style,sure one of them is it doesn't quite work for everyone,the second and THE main reason is it is too intense.

My CNS was having a hard time keeping with the DC training over the summer whilst doing cardio.
 
2 scoops huh? Maybe I missed something but what made ya take on 2 scoops? Any notable differences? And why on off days as well?
 
I wasn't going to say anything but Im going to say something just ONCE.the more you guys talk the more you will look foolish,and I say that with all due respect.

For whatever reason one person decided to mix me up w someone else who I don't even know.It is actually kind of funny,all you have to do is a minute of research and you will really see that I am not this dude.

I do not have "many" logs under multiple names.You should really do your homework before you talk like that,saying I don't
work out and that im pos is a really,really disrespectful thing to say.I wouldn't call competing on stage not working out.

a couple people are making a big deal out of this bc of nothing.I am not this dude that you guys think I am,and it says a lot about this board that some can make such accusations and say the things they have about me when im so not that person.All this bc someone got me mixed up w someone else? not professional at all my friends.

It is disrespectful to me and to universal that you would flood this thread w this instead of taking it to pms and such.I have supported universal for over 10 years now and I take it personally that a couple of you would act like this.If you really had respect for universal and the board you would act in a more professional manner.If anyone wants to contact me and prove that I am this guy and then post it here fine,otherwise keep it out of logs/reviews.It is disresectful to

Dude your a beast, what are your stats again? Throw up a video of you doing 8 45's on the T-bar row because thats INSANE. How did you even find a bar long enough to fit 8 45's and a 25 on one side?(385)

Definatly want to see that video...Most will only accept around 6 45'rs.
 
You gotta use 100's on the bar fellas, can't get that many 45's on there. 100's will get you there though is they are the regular York Barbell type.

well the first "intra workout" type supplement I ever tried,tops off at about 30 grams of carbs(waxy Maize startch) per serving.
I liked the results there so I wanted to try and up the dose on the carbs.
Intrabolic is very good,I have bought both flavors.
However,the product I mentioned before from Nutrex as well as intra aid have been giving me a much better muscle fullness.

anytime Im supplementing with any Beta alanine product I try to take a little in on non workout days to keep the carnosine levels up.Obviously not as much as training days.
I have used beta alanine just on training days and the differences in endurance etc are night and day between that and using every day,even if the dose is a little smaller then training days.

mixed fine,digested fine with 2 scoops.I know many don't care for the nutrex product bc of the high carb content,or at least MOST that I have talked to.
before any of these products though,it was EAA stack+gatorade Powder for me for a while.So my point is I have always agreed with a decent amount of carbs intra.

Plus you did 110's for DB press before that, you've got more stamina than Milos Sarcev!!

I should have stated I have also been taking Assault Pre workout as well.

so that combined with the intra aid and listening to Mudvayne get's me through certaing training sessions that perhaps I wouldn't normally get through.

OK let me say that this is just MY opinion and probably would vary for some if not many.

I am really,really enjoying the two scoops intra,much better feeling while training and the endurance is really starting to show through.

I did quads,hams,calves and biceps last night and went very well.

I usually do 7 warm ups for my sumo presses but I didn't feel as warmed up so I went with 9 sets for them.
then the rest pause instead of it being 25-15-10 I went with 35-20-12

I might just go with half scoop on non training days.
anyway if I don't talk some of you ,have a great weekend!

can you have someone snap a pic of you doing 405 on the T-Bar? You must be a beast man, I use that kind of weight for my deadlifts!!
 
I was stuck on a plateau with weight and reps when it comes to hammer curls and I broke through the plateau last training session.
I have to def give credit to Intra-aid for this.
I went up 10 lbs and instead of the normal progression for my rest pause on this exercise(x10,x8,x6),it went as such.....
x12,x10,x8.I was pretty impressed to say the least.

This is one of those supplements that only get's better the longer you use it.

don't ask me why I did this but, I mixed one scoop yesterday( non training day) with 16 oz of cranberry ginger ale,taste wasn't bad but considering the research on carbonation and protein synthesis I will not be doing it again.
So far I like 2 scoops 24 oz ice cold water and 2 ice cubes the best!

my favorite way to take intra-aid is to make a vodka martini, extra olives, and then throw in 2 scoops. My hardcore gym is always lining these up at the juice bar since i told the owner about them after a great set of 600lb t-bar rows. I definitely have to give Intra-aid credit for these!:aargh:

Problem with your log is it has not convinced me in anyway to try the product. No pics, videos, NOTHING. Just you. Saying how great it is...because you got it for free. This is a completely effortless log of nothing.

Come on fellas. Can we ask a favor of ya? If you really have a beef with this guy then can you take it to PM's or start a thread out in another section calling him out or whatever you want to do. But we would like to ask you to refrain from the continued hazing here in the log section of the board.

We appreciate your concern as much as anything but would like to let DrZ run his log and fullfill his commitment to receiving the product. You know you wouldn't feel like continuing to log if something like this was going on in your own log.

can i still wait for a response about the T-bar rows? I'm genuinely interested too see it. the only other people I've seen do 300+ pounds with good form are people like jay cutler and ronnie coleman.

And it turns out you can put 8 45s on some bars, I saw some videos on youtube that guys did it. they had horrible form though, so i was hoping maybe Drk could show me his lifts so I could pick up some pointers.
 
All ill say is Animal/Universal is not aware of the histroy the members speak of. They will learn through this log. I understand they wanted to get the product out quick and seemed like a good pick. I cant say it wasnt, cant say it was. It all just seems to familair....

Ill say this. DrkZ, you need to post a pic ASAP to me via PM or PM your facebook or myspace so i know for the show. I dont need you going grabbing some random pics of some guy an using them for the show. YOU HAVE MY WORD I WILL NOT REPOST IT HERE. BUT If i feel it is a legit pic with the intra-aid or a newspaper with a date I WILL GET YOU BACK FROM THERE OUT.

So i suggest to squash all the issues with everyone thinking whatever you do something about it...
Show a pic with the Intra-aid, Tbar rows, bench pressing, something.
Ebay has digi cameras that will come with a cable fro about $40.00 shipped.

I have to go out of my way and possibly spend money on a camera just to prove myself? I wasn't the one who made the accusation.It was all a misunderstanding,im not this guy and just because im not a regular here means I have to prove myself.If it was my board and I thought it was this guy then I would go out of my way to prove it's him for the sake of the board.I say that with all due respect fellas,Force and I talked and knows where I am croming from.
Secondly I have done plenty of logs and reviews for universal products on several boards for a while now.
If there were ever any specific requirements for that log then I met them.Not requiring pics and then getting at me for it isn't cool,this is all bc of one big misunderstanding.I was told that everything was set for the show and just needed an avy now I need more.
lastly,I am working with one member here to prove I am not this other guy,I don't want to involve anyone else,which I easily could.I am doing this out of respect to universal,I have given every single thought and reacting to the intra aid.
I want everyone here who doesn't know me to think for a second what this must be like if this really isn't him?

Last training session went as such....I begin sipping on my 2 scoops of Blue Raspberry Intra-Aid I was head into the gym parking lot......

QUADS: front squats

* I sip intra aid generally whenver I want,I tend to drink a bit more after each rest pause set and make sure Im done just as session ends if not before*

I have used a few diffferent intra workout supplements,some with carbs,some with none,some with a lot of carbs...etc

This by far is the best performing one so far...for me the 15-20 g of ch2o are really the sweet spot.
with Nutrex's product it was causing a little digestion problems.after or before is fine,but a little too much even with the waxy maize.With that being said,muscle fullness is improved and strength is slightly improved as well since starting product.
For me personally though the endurance and pump are most prominent.I LOVE and always have Beta alanine for pumps,it is second to none for me.Forget akg,etc...real nice pump when supplementing ba,esp intra! the whey hydro and eaas along with
everything else have been helping with recovery big time.Intra aid has been living up to my expectations.I have used the beta al9 product and the pump and endurance from this is much better.
 
Why you using 2 scoops? Just personal preference or some method behind your madness?

it seems to be the "sweet spot" for me in a couple ways.The carb blend isn't all waxy maize so I wanted to shoot for 15-20 grams intra.This is what I have done when I would mix waxy maize with eaa stack in the past,and is the best.The fullness and recovery is best.It comes out to what? 5 grams waxy maize a scoop?

same thing with Torrent after about 2 weeks I went to 3 1/2 scoops right after training.So whenever I am use torrent,from then on I would use 3 1/2 scoops.My body responds very well to waxy maize.I saw a signifigant increase in muscle fullness and recovery even with just a half scoop( and recovery and fullness is already pretty good with std3 scoops torrent!)

also the flavor is a bit more strong with 2 scoops in 24 oz of water then 40 or whatever.Good stuff!
