Trauma1 Puts LG Science's Improved "Slin" Product To The Test(Sponsored)

In to see how it goes for you. I've been interested in this one but I can't take anabolic pump. It kills me in massive migraines. So I've been afraid to try it.

I cant take it either, migraines, and a terrible naseau, if its spelled correctly? I have such a bad stomach, hot and cold sweats and want to pass out, i will never touch Anabolic pump again.

Ok, so here we go. I'm going to do daily updates up until the week 1 review where i'll give an extensive comparison/contrast of my views on the original formula, and this new version of SLIN. I had some of the old product to use up, so i've been taking it for the last week. As of tomorrow, i'll be using the new slin. I typically dosed my original formula slin about 15-20 minutes before my post-workout meal. It took about a week, but i began to notice increased muscle belly fullness.....especially in my arms/forearms.

I really have great hopes for this new formulated slin. I'd like to thank LG Sciences for the opportunity to log this. I'll try to get a good amount of info in my comparison views to help differentiate (if at all) between the two.

If you picked it up its the new version. The older version we just sold in sample size bottles along with MMV2 etc.

i hope you like to eat...cause you're gonna be hungry! carry a fork at all times....just leave the knives at home cause babies look so delicious when taking this stuff.​
 
Agreed on the hunger! Really does increase! So have some good food around :)

I find with this product my sweet spot is around 5-10min pre meal, that way I don't feel sick or type hypo.

Most important time to take is probably posy workout, when it is vital to get as many nutrients into the muscle as possible. Workouts day you will benefit as well, as this will help aid recovery. Depends on your budget really.

I second Craigs stance on postWO, but I would certainly make sure you also take a preWO dose, for me loading carbs an hour preWO with a good nutrient repartitioner always provides energy and pumps that no stim or nitric oxide supp can compare to.

Slin is also a very inexpensive supp, so even if you were to lower your doses on off days I would still take Slin before your largest meals.

Very good advice here guys all around. I took 2 pre workout today before 60gms waxy maize and the pump was literaly like i was on anabolics.

Slin is a very well designed supp that everyone can benefit from!
 
Day 7 (Week 1 Review)​





Weight: 213lbs (+1.5lbs)

Energy Level: It's been very solid overall. I've not noticed any issues with hypoglycemia or lethargy. If anything, i've had such great workouts that i'm completely drained when i leave the gym. :D

Muscle Fullness: Has been very impressive thusfar. I've experienced a good "fullness" to muscle bellies for the majority of the day. See below for a more detailed response.​




How I've Been Dosing The Slin:​



For the first few days i only utilized a post workout dosing. This consisted of 2 caps about 10-15 minutes prior to my post workout shake/meal. I really noticed a nice pump to the rest of my day. Definitely more significant than i had with the original version. The best part was this pump literally lasted the majority of the day after this dose. I'm definitely impressed in this regard.

Starting on day 4, i changed up the dosing pattern a bit. I took 2 capsules approx 1 hour pre-workout, followed by a shake consisting of waxy maize/protein. By the time i got to the gym, i already had a very impressive pump! Needless to say i had a GREAT workout full of enducrance and intensity. Post workout i took 1 capsule about 10-15 minutes before my meal. My pump continued for the rest of the day. Very nice!!​





Comparison of Slin version 1 vs. version 2 (After 1 Week)​



Slin version 1​

-Decent pumps noted after the first week on, but nothing spectacular.

-I utilized this version during a cut and did have some great repartitioning effects after adding it into my stack. I absolutely contribute the addition of this product to my success in that regard.

-No issues with side effects, or hypoglycemia.​



Slin version 2​

-After 1 week on it, i note more significant and prolonged pumps. This version definitely seems to work better in this regard for myself. The pumps aren't overwhelming/painful, but gives a nice full feeling to muscle bellies for a good part of the day.

-No issues with side effects, or hypoglycemia.​




Week 1 Summary​



So i'm now 1 week into the new slin. In all honesty, i'm very impressed with it. The pumps are great, i've had fantastic workouts, and no side effect issues to speak of. This type of product to me is very much a staple. It really adds a unique dynamic to training and nutrition that can benefit people with different training goals overall.

For week 2, i'm going to dose it 2 caps pre-workout, and 2 caps post workout to assess any difference, if any. I'm very impressed with the 2 caps pre-workout, 1 cap post workout at this point alone.

I wouldn't dose the slin preworkout and not eat afterwords. I would imagine going hypo along with the stress of a workout would be something not to pretty! Haha. Id eat atleast 30 to 40 gms of carbs depending on how many caps you dose.

I seem to respond to insulin mimetic type supplements pretty well. I wouldn't say i'm sensitive in my normal response, but have a more moderate response regardless of glycemic index.

I typically store more fat in my flank regions.

Yes, i would always follow your dosing up with a meal. If not, you would probably run the risk of dropping basal glucose levels to where you would begin to note hypoglycemic effects.

My intention when using the original formulation was to enhance the utilization of carbohydrates during a cut.

I take my 2 capsules of slin before i leave the gym, and then follow up with a post-workout shake when i get home. It's about a 15 minute lapse between the dose and eating. So far, so good. :)

Hypo's not something I'm too worried about; used to happen when dosing RPM and NeoVar Recomped pre-gym, and was manageable. So, no dosing unless I plan on eating >30g carbohydrates ~15 minutes post-dose?
 
I wish I stored my fat in the flank: I've got the tire-belly genetics. I can't wait to compare Slin to the Na-RALA I've been using lately. Can't wait to get on Prime + PSlin too; the stuff is potent. I'll probably try 3 Slin's with my large pre and post-WO meals.

Nice review thus far John, got me interested as well considering how much I love my carbs and Pslin/AP..... Have yet to venture into other partitioners other than plain old ALA and Neovar Recomped (beta tester version) and interested at what LG has to offer for sure.

Keep it up buddy... you owe me a "plan" PM too.... my Prime is quickly comin to an end (this week) so I got to get everything ready to go... already got 7 bottles of the main product and a couple bottles of DHEA and penetrate.... ready to make this happen. :head:
 
Im usinmg slin at the moment im my log to bro, and i didnt feel anything until i upped the dosage to 5 caps, and increased carbs for that meal up to about 100+ since i did that its like taking a different supp, great pumps, improved recovery, i think its adding to the leaning effect that im noticing, and an increase in vascularity, im dosing 5 caps 2 x per day for 5 days then taking 2 off, for me it looks like the sweet spot. If the carb intake isnt high enough after consuming the tabs i didnt notice anything really, but now i think its close to being on a par with pslin, very interesting product and no hypoglycemic feelings either.

So the downside of SLIN is having to take 4 or 5 tabs each serving where as Anabolic Pump is just one cap. I might get one bottle since its nice and cheap and give it a run anyway.

Ok, everyone. The wife has me painting for a bit today, but i'll be around later tonight for an extensive update on the SLIN. I even did a bit of an experiment. I have some Anabolic Pump and PSLIN on hand that i've used as a comparison view as well. Look for the update later tonight for certain. :D

I can't say huge increases in hunger, but some subtle hunger pangs at times.

I can say i have been hungrier taking this, thats why i upped my calories in my thread, but like aussie said i personaly dont think anything noticeable can be felt until the dosage is increased to at least 4, but better when 5.
Still i prefer this to most other products of its kind, as this one works, but i havent had any discomfort, looking foward to your views trauma.

Well hes takin 5, i notice a lot from just 3 and 4s the top end. Also a bottle is roughly 22-24 bucks, where AP is double that. Not knocking Ap by any means but i feel for whats its worth SLIN is a great product.

Day 14 (Week 2 Review)​





Weight: 215lbs (+3lbs)

Energy Level: As i move into the second week, my energy levels seem to have intensified, especially in the gym. I attribute this to my body getting adjusted to the SLIN. I continue to utilize the SLIN with my WMS pre/post workout meals.

Muscle Fullness: Without a doubt the pumps/fullness aspect of muscle bellies have increased significantly. It's a nice solid fullness, not overbearing and painful. The duration of this fullness is also impressive with the SLIN.​




How I've Been Dosing The Slin:​

I have been using 2 caps with my pre-workout shake of WMS, followed by 2 more caps with my post-workout shake/meal. The results are definitely more pronounced since using this pattern. The muscle fullness is of a higher degree, and lasts much longer. I have also added a 1 cap dose with my evening meal as well. I'm taking these doses approx 15-20 minutes before the shake/meal.

I have noted some mild increases in hunger pangs between meals, but nothing that isn't tolerable. No side effects to note at all. I really like the fullness i'm getting with the 5 cap/day dosing. It provides great gym pumps, as well as during the rest of the day.




Comparison of LG Sciences: SLIN (version 2) vs. UspLabs: Anabolic Pump vs. UspLabs: PSLIN​



As promised, here is a comparison from my point of view on these products. Now granted, this was a short duration of comparison, but it was successful imo. Here's how i did this. For the first 4 days of the week, i used only the LG Sciences Slin at 5 caps/day as already stated above. I have been very impressed with the great fullness/endurance effects from the SLIN.

I had some UspLabs Anabolic Pump and PSLIN on hand that i thought would be fun to compare effects. Now again, this is my own personal experiences, and only over a 4 day period each, so results without a doubt will vary, especially if this was conducted over a longer time frame.

Over a four day period, i used Anabolic Pump dosed as suggested in the am, pre-workout, and post-workout 15-20 minutes prior to a carb meal. No changes in diet were noted during the use of any of these products to give a fair comparison with the LG Sciences SLIN.

I also used PSLIN as suggested. I dosed 1-capsule 15 minutes before my pre-workout meal (which always consists of 75 grams WMS, 25 grams of simple sugars, and 30 grams protein.)​




UspLabs: Anabolic Pump​

-I received some very mild pumps, nothing spectacular. They also didn't last for any significant amount of time.
-Gym intensity didn't note much improvement.
-No side effects to report.​



LG Sciences: Slin​

-At the 5 caps/day dose, the pumps were very impressive overall indeed. Gym intensity was also very impressive.
-Good muscle fullness that lasted a good part of the day.
-No side effects to report.​


UspLabs: PSLIN​

-This product was impressive as well. It gave me pumps on par with the LG Sciences Slin that lasted the majority of the day.
-I had some very nice intensity in the gym as well.
-No side effects to report​



My Impression:​

I've used Anabolic Pump in the past, and didn't have an significant results with it despite anything i tried. This was my first time using PSLIN however. I will say that i was impressed with it. I'm also VERY impressed with LG Sciences SLIN. I'm going to try stacking the SLIN and PSLIN now and see what type of results i can get. I responded very well to both on an individual basis, so i'm curious to see the synergy they may provide here. Stay tuned to week 3 for this update.


Week 2 Summary​


For week 2, i did a little comparison between products. I am without a doubt more impressed with the version 2 of SLIN at this point. I'm responding much better than version 1 overall in every way. The pumps and fullness are really quite impressive. I'm also impressed with the lack of side effects as well. Not once have i even felt hypoglycemic to this point. If any of you have any questions regarding my experiment this week, please feel free to ask away.

For week 3, i'm going to stack the LG Sciences: SLIN and UspLabs: PSLIN to assess results. Stay tuned for the update at the end of the week with the combined products results.

I've upped my dose of Slin to 3 caps post-gym and before another meal. Really noticing the lack of bloating, etc. after excessive high calorie/CHO (i.e. cheat) days. Also noticing that I'm not as hungry during the day (if I get hungry, it's at night), which is weird. I'm also much thirstier than usual. And been having migraines more often since using it (not enough to stop usage, however). Liking it so far.
