Training log revamp ROUND 3 lol

@Hyde Scince were on the subject of specific goal enhancement I'm picking up some bronchaid tomorrow from Walgreens. Here in Cali I guess you have to go right to the pharmacist and you can only get one a month but anyways will it Crack me out like the old MA huang or can I take it at night when I hit the gym?
It is the old ephedrine, that is why you have to get it from the pharmacy and show your license. You won't want to sleep if you take it at night. Well I wouldn't anyway.

Cool ill just take it in the morning before breakfast just wanted to make sure before I took it pre-workout and then couldn't sleep at night

I get a good 4 hours of stimulation out of it probably, I would plan 5 until you know how it treats you.

I almost always use 12.5mg, half a Bronkaid tab, when I do. I feel even better on the full 25mg but the blood pressure increase kills my work capacity, so I would try that out first. My wife always takes 25mg at a time, but she has lower bp being a 160lb and always doing strongman conditioning.

Gotta watch my BP tho because I'm on 50mg anadrol/ day PWO
You know what is funny/weird, my BP is naturally a little on the high side .

134/85, 132/89, 126/81, 135/79, 128/89

That was my last 5 days in my notes and it typically stays within that area year-round whether I'm on a cycle or not. So you would think if I added something like anadrol or superdrol it would go through the roof. But it doesn't, it always stays pretty much exactly the same and runs in the same patterns between 125 and 135 over 80-85

I don't think I've ever in my life had a 120 over 80 or lower.

I'm the exact opposite have naturally really low BP to the point where some doctors were borderline concerned but as soon as my package of oraks arrives it shoots through the moon. It's really the only side I get from orals tho..granted I don't get crazy with them I've never done more than 50mg of adrol per day and dbol never more than 50

Anyone else getting weird DM's last night......

So weird how different things can be from one person to the next

That’s crazy…..but that’s the guy that was talking about putting cream up his butt, and said he had been banned from Meso. He probably got banned from Meso for crap like this.

I'm gonna tag that guy beefyfan and tell him to talk to him lol

Actually, **** that, then I'm going to have to see an even weirder conversation, Im gonna try to tag the admin to just get the weirdo out of here

Got to the gym early today and looks like tomorrow I might be doing some MMA sparing so I'm gonna assume I'm gonna get a little fucked up lol, so, in preparation for probably having a sore neck and legs and back Thursday I decided to mix it up today.

Still working with sub optimal weights but there stacking up fast.
Working sets on bench with 255
Squats with 285
Single arm dumbbell clean and press I worked up to a 90 lb dumbbell
Dumbbell crushers I worked up to a pair of 40's

And I wouldn't hit the heavy bag for five rounds.

Called it a wrap.

Gonna go eat and stretch and ice the old man ankles for tomorrow.

Yeah, a lot people don’t realize how a good session of grappling and MMA sparring can wear you out. My son and his Jiu Jitsu buddies used to grapple a lot and every once in awhile I would drag my old butt up there and join in. Man that would wear this old man out, because all of them, including my son are high level. I’d always have to have a couple of rest days because my old body would remind me that I’m not 30 years old anymore. It was always fun though, and I could still show them a thing or two standing up, but I would get caught in so many triangles and rear naked chokes it made me realize trying to start Jiu Jitsu in your 50s may not be a wise decision. It is fun though, that competitor in you just doesn’t want to say no. Lol

It's funny because once I am healed up enough I intend to start Jiu Jitsu. Lots of middle age men are picking it up. I remember the first time I rolled with an experienced guy. He got me in his guard and had my throwing up from exhaustion by the second 3 minute round. Just fighting to get out of his guard, using all my muscles instead of leverage and body weight. I was so gassed, I fell in love with that part and started learning. I remember the first time I took him to side control then slid my knee over his chest into a mount I felt like a super hero. He ended up rolling me over some how and armbarring me after another minute or so but I was in a dominant position for a little bit. Hearing him praise me for that was so awesome! I started training for a fight and was at a seminar with a youngster who blocked a half speed shot attempt with a full speed hip check during a drill and tore the crap out of my right shoulder. That is what kicked off my first shoulder surgery, and I was like 2 months out from a fight. I was so bummed.

The guy that trained my son knew Damian Maya, hope I spelled it right, and he came in one Saturday and rolled with a bunch of guys and my son was one of them. He was like, man Dad I thought I was good, being a brown belt, but he said it was an honor and a very humbling experience rolling with a world class champion black belt. He was amazed at how Maya was able to reverse dominant positions and transition so smoothly from position to position. He was a cool dude too, and took up a lot of time with all of them, and just did it to help out without pay.

That is so awesome!

I took a beating lol, I got tapped out multiple times and my jaw hurts, I didn't get hit hard at all but I've been having a toothache for a while way in the back at one of my molars and it got aggravated yesterday. Ankles are throbbing also.

In my defense I tapped out 3 ppl and dropped someone with a body shot so I got some licks in but I'm not even close to in shape.

I'm taking today and tomorrow off and getting back to it Saturday. Then starting next week I wanna start sparing almost daily, I need it. My conditioning is trash, I'm good for about 3 half ass rounds at the moment. No bueno!

Oh, and I haven't been sticking to my meal plan, I been overeating like 800-1200 calories almost daily.

I'm 207.8 lol, the guys I was going against were also smaller, 155-195, I need to get down to about 190 so I can move a little faster on my feet and not gas out so quick

Man I couldn’t imagine getting hit in the jaw with a toothache. If the tooth is infected that could affect your cardio a little as well. But hey at least you was able to tap out a few guys and get some good shots in.👍💪

You got this bro..just did hams and 45 minutes on the stepmill. Just ate chicken with a little mustard and cream of rice with a couple blueberries. And I'm starving still. I'm just gonna take a shower abs go straight to bed before I do something stupid. I've been doing this routine for 3 weeks and seeing results daily. Oh yea 750mg test/ 450 deca per week and 50mg anadrol a day so there's that lol..where's this anadrol appetite suppression everyone keeps talking about lol

Just keep upping the Anadrol and see what happens lol. You’ll either lose your appetite or become a powerhouse, win/win.

Yeah, I’ve seen guys run some pretty high doses of Anadrol…..should add some nice strength gains.

Appetite suppression is going to be person to person, nothing to date has taken my appetite away.

In my case tho, beinge eating disorder is probably countering the the potential for appetite loss 😂, one of the benifits me of being a slob 🤷

I just need to prep better and have a few low calorie meals ready to go at night. I've often been eating a seccond full dinner after dinner and my girl and kids have been baking a lot, it's torture. Il kick it into high gear soon.

Hurry up, you don't want to be in a repeat of the situation you were in last time doing things during crunch time to work against you coming in with the optimum physique for fighting. Once you have to rush to catch up the quality of the results suffer. If this is to be your last fight then you probably don't want to wonder how thing would have gone if you buckled down and did things optimally. I know harder to do than to say but just trying to encourage you for the best results.

I'm gonna do a significant weight cut, about 15lbs this month, il hold at that weight for a while. I know it sounds extreme but I've put on a little bit of extra fluff over the last few weeks it's going to fall right off. All I think I gotta do is eliminate that late night meal, and add the sparring+ I'm due for some extra cardio.

Going to be at 1.5 hours cardio 3-4x week and the other days lifting weights and another 30min cardio after.

If I'm not down 15lbs and doing 6-8rounds a day sparring by the end of the month I'm just pushing the fight back, no big deal. There's events all winter into the spring. I'm just trying to jump on this one in January because it's in my hometown

Yea that's gotta be a tough one bro..I'm by myself now so it's just me vs me..I'm sure things would be different if my wife was still around and we had the dogs too. Especially with the weather starting to turn back there that just screams crushing good food! It's still in the high 70s here in Cali

Oddly enough it's been in the high 60's all last week and supposed to be 71 today. Really cold here a few weeks ago and it was down in the 30s and 40s at night and then the high for the day would be maybe 50°.

And then all the sudden in the past week it's been warm as hell again.

71° in November in the Northeast lol

I think I'm going to spend about 3 more weeks pushing these numbers up for sets and reps and then switch over to a very basic full body and arms on the weekends.

Not positive yet but if I'm sparing almost daily my work ability to lift heavy after sparring session is probably going to be slim to nill, idk, il adjust as needed.

Today's weight 205.9

I feel like a million bucks today, I wish every day was this good.

Woke up early, did all my grocery shopping by 10 am.

Had a massive sandwich with 12slices of turkey breast two slices of cheese spinach and hot peppers and pickles, I use Greek yogurt with ranch flavoring instead of mayo and three slices of rye. I had a couple of these rice puff chips with it that were cheesy and really gave me the feeling that I was eating potato chips LOL.

Then for my second meal I had some oven roasted ham, with white rice and asparagus.

Hit the gym with some electrolytes simple carbs and caffeine

The added volume is starting to really shine. I'm more of a fan of the high intensity heavyweight stuff but I think I've been leaving a lot on the table by not including volume and focusing on getting more out of lower weights. Not lightweights but significantly lower than what I normally do. But I have been working back up quite a bit.

I'm almost hesitant to loose weight, great pump and vascular at 204lbs and it makes me wanna grow but I'm sticking to the plan for now.

Besides, every time I cut or even diet and suck weight I always rebound back to looking better then previously.

Post workout was 45 G of whey mixed with water, and I don't know if anyone knows what pasta fajoli is but that's what I'm having for dinner. I roasted a ham on the bone earlier and I'm using the leftover meat to make tonight's dinner. You basically cook the ham bone and water until you boiled the flavor out of the bone in the meat, add some tomato paste and some beans and then I use these little didolini pastas or mini shells so it's basically pasta ham and beans. It's an old peasant dish for Italians lol. But I love it.

I also thought out all the chicken scraps I've been saving for my chicken breast every week and I've got about 10 lb of it now, so I'm about to put all that through the meat grinder cook it up straight all the fat off and then hit it with some taco seasoning and do taco bowls everyday this week for meal prep.

Ground chicken breast with some fat
Rice
Kale
Diced tomatoes and onions and peppers

And as always I'll use some of my Greek yogurt ranch and a little hot sauce with it. On the days I want higher carbs I'll throw it in a wrap and add a piece of fruit on my lower carb days I'll just eat it as is with a half a cup of rice

Anyone got a good online spot for slin pins that ships reasonably quick and fair price?

Last order I put in canceled my order and said they can't ship to my location. Which I don't understand at all because I've had slin pins and other medical stuff shipped to me hundreds of times

I use bulk syringes .com for whatever it's worth. Also Wal mart will sell you a box of 100. You have to buy the box which is fine in your case they won't sell 10 packs without a script because too many dope fiends were going on there I guess altho I don't see the problem unless they were being stupid and careless and just throwing used ones all over the ground which was probably the case

93/7 ground beef, turkey, & chicken all have close enough cals/macros that I just interchange them, but they all digest differently for me - beef if I need it to fill me a long time, turkey is my general go-to as it sits just right, and chicken if I am bulking and need to rip through food often or if I just want to train sooner or something. I always cook them all with taco seasoning. Great with pasta (with or without sauce), beans, rice, potatoes, on salads.

For a while, Zoo got me into doing bowls of ground beef, diced potatoes, gobs of shredded lettuce, then you hit it with mustard, dill relish & a bit of sugar-free ketchup for a ‘burger ‘n fry’ bowl.

Also, I have been steadily dropping ~1.5lbs/wk the last 6 weeks and training has generally been kicking ass. Recovering well, good energy & been making some gym progress still. On 150/100 test/mast with 300mg L-carnitine 4-5x a week. So I think if you can keep the loss very slow and steady you can probably keep performance from taking a big hit. Some days I’m not as strong on things, but I don’t sweat it. I generally have very good maximal strength still when it counts, & just need to use a bit lighter weight on 15-20 rep sets.

That burger n fry bowl sounds bomb I'd do it with sweet potatoes too. I'm always doing the taco/burrito bowl thing I never thought to do it American style. Usually I was doing chicken n rice in a bowl with ketchup mustard and pickles as my "burger bowl"

I use to do a lot of ground turkey, I use to get it for $1.99lb but lately it's been 3.99-4.99lb so I just been sticking with the $2.49 chicken breast and pork tenderloins and if I'm gonna spend $5lb I try to find some kind of steak/beef

Lately boneless skinless chicken breast has been anywhere from 1.99 to 2.89 depending on the week.before the bird flu thing these last couple months it was always 1.99 pound. When petite top sirloin is 5.99 pound i jump on that still like to get on 1 steak meal in a week even while dieting. Ground turkey and salmon are mandatory so I just pay what I have to pay one thing that's good about cutting is you don't spend as much on food so you can cover the cost of the added compounds you have to take

Potatoes are more filling for the same carbs and offer more micronutrients than rice; definitely a good sub option when hunger is higher & digestion is humming fast.

Spinach, wilted or chopped raw, pairs well with sweet potato IMO.

Sounds like most of us are doing similar things. I always get my beef and turkey 97/3. Sometimes I use just mustard for my salad dressing and toss some meat in there. Have done the burger bowl thing for a while minus the potatoes, but started using potatoes in a lot of things recently instead of rice for the micronutrients. Prep meals are getting better and better quality and tasting as I go along.
