Shoulder workout.
Mario got held up at work so I went by myself.
Seated DB press (I cant count any of these) 105*10, 115*8, 125*4 The 2 spotter held the weights the whole facking time. When I started the 125s I literally felt off balance. It was that damn bad.
Arnold presses: 50*12, 55*12, 60*12
Front DB raise: 30*10, 35*10, 40*10, 45*10
Behind the neck military press: 135*10, 8, 6(I never do these)
DB rear delts: 15*15, 20*15, 25*15, 30*15
:sgrin: Lateral DB raise: 15+ sets of 10 reps started with 20s then dropped to 15s. A guy I talk to regularly about powerlifting joined in. Went back and forth 1 lift while the other lifts. He said it was painful but afterwards he said he plans on adding them to his workouts lol.
Killer shoulder workout, I did a high volume lateral set and it burned! 15+ sets is rough!
Sucks about the spotters, can't you tell them "hands off"?

Man Idk I put my headphones in and wasnt expecting it. It really just turned me off doing the lift. What I might do is increase my ROM more so I dont have to use as much weight and might be able to "kick" them up. But it was damn nice going heavy like this and really feeling it.
BB military press? Tell them to hand it up and begone? ROM is another good way to make it work, but yeah, I hear you on going heavy...

I hate it when DB get handed to you one at a time, but i think i am going to have to start doing that as well. Getting to be a pain to kick the heavy ones up.

My workout was so incredible and productive for me yesterday (praise Versa Gripps) I rewarded myself with some cheat eating as well. Tacos......and lots of 'em!!!

Man Im itching to lift. Will do some cardio tomorrow and then hopefully arms. Mario has missed most of the arm workouts so I doubt he is missing on purpose. Not sure if I want to do an all out death set for arms. I must say I have been contemplating a superset version of it :sgrin:

I thought that was just a variation on concentration curls... If i'm understanding you correctly.
They sound like Arnold Curls. He used to go his concentration curls just bending over, as oppose to havng the elbow settin agaisnt the knee

Deadlifts decided against maxing today. Rep out with 405. Got 18 reps which is honestly disappointing in my eyes. Wanted that nice even 20.
Pull ups 10, 8, 7 (improved)
Bent over rows 225*10, 275*10, 295*8, 135*25
Hyper extension with DB lat flyes 20*10
Took a break because I was feeling sick. Decided to go up front and ask how much the bars could handle. This was because Milas(I think) said he said a guy snap a bar with 585. The FC employee didnt have an idea, but he didnt sound confident in the bars lol. Also saw a guy I went all through school with. Talked to him a bit as I cooled down.
Bent over rows 135*25
Ok bare with me on this explaination. Lat pull downs super set with seated cable rows. 8 sets of each. 10 breathes in between each set. Weights were 70 for lat pulldowns dropping weight after every 2 sets. Weight for seated cable rows 100 for 4 sets and then 85 for the last 4. Def brought on a good sweat and pump.
Thinking Im going to go out for a little bit tonight. Honestly dont think I will stay out long. Probably wont know too many people and Im not in the mood to deal with drunks.
Great workout, 405 x 18 is pretty awesome. You've got great grip strength there. Have you ever tried Captains of Crush? I bet you could close a level 3.
I haven't seen anyone snap a bar, so not me, those things can hold a good bit of weight. They can hold more than I can lift, that's for sure!
I'd say not to worry about snapping a bar, if you did that talk about a beast story to tell!

I don't think it'd fail like a snap, I think it would bend and fail.
I'll have to google snapping bars, see what I can find on youtube or something...
