Missed Tuesday and Wednesday burning the candle at both ends. Been dragging my ass lately but felt good to get in.

Joints are a bit dry and achy. Kinda normal winter symptom that fish oil tends to fix.

Weights been cruising at 184-186.

Hoping to get both Saturday and Sunday normal good sessions in but my wife is doing a cancer walk Saturday so I'll have to be lifting by like 7am to make that
 
You taking any marine collagen? Hell you probably have the means to start manufacturing your own lol.
That and joint support XT keep me popping and locking.
 
I use a type 1 & 3 beef collagen powder in all my postWO shakes, and take 40mg UC-II supplement daily as well.

You have to take the raws in if you want to be able to repair that tissue!

we (i) had a lot of time in between reps as my boy practiced and worked up to his first ever 225lb bench attempt (almost had it) so I think I was fresher than usual lol. I was surprised and happy to nail that 225 x 10. I always kinda see that as my canary in the coalmine to determine how I'm doing with energy and recovery. the past week was just brutal at work so my lifting was really sacrificed. I had hoped to drive my body into the ground all week becuase I'm travelling this Weds-Sun and figured that would be my recovery time. Maybe I misjudged and drove my body into the ground a little earlier than hoped, lol.

but yeah yesterdays session may have been a little on the short side, but felt fantastic. Needed a good session like that.

I didn't log squats, although we did some. It was light weight practice stuff because he's testing 1rm this week at school.

Nice work hitting your target weight! Pretty killer leg session, that high bar work is really coming along.
 
Weighed in at 183.8lbs today. Completes a two year cycle from 183 to 207 back to 183. Definitely feel bigger and leaner this time. And I know without a shadow of a doubt my bench and squat are higher today than last time I weighed 183.

That’s always a good feeling when you cut down to a former weight with stronger lifts, bigger muscles, and a smaller waist, because you know what you’re doing is working…..The younger generation really need to understand it’s always been a marathon and not a sprint. Congrats on hitting your goals….ha, now it’s time to celebrate with one of those fresh steak dinners, with a big ole baked potato and salad…..oh and then fast the next day of course.💪😎👍

TLDR: in PVR with th blended family. Going well, kids seem happy. Hit hotel gym with son. Walked mucho. Walking more tonight. And tomorrow. He asked if we could lift at the hotel gym, and of course the answer was yes 🤘🤘

They don't have a lot to offer so he and I just ran the rack and did full body to the best of our extent before getting into a pool volleyball competition with his step brother and step sister. Probably a top 5 best ever family trip so far!

Jealous Brother, that sounds like an amazing trip! You want a way to make those sessions a little more challenging pick a weight you can do 12-15 reps with a slower negative for a movement and then do 4 sets of 10 with 30 seconds rest. The fatigue from the short rest periods will build up metabolic factors that will drive some hypertrophy.

Also anything you get close to failure on between 5-35 reps will cause growth. So high reps almost to failure will give you that massive pump for the beach, and also actually drive hypertrophy.

Easy, swallow all the tabs and apply all the transdermal to your body before you go back through customs 🤪 Wouldn’t recommend that though!

There were definitely guys who would cross the border to take stuff and come back, but that was ridiculously tedious. Going back every week or two for a big shot.

It was honestly one of the best trips I've had, I think because it was with the kids and being a blended family you "hope" things go well but are prepared for personality conflicts.... We had zero, the kids were amazing together and they all said they want to do it again! It was a short trip (Weds - Sun) but damn we crammed in a lot lol


I brought home a little anavar to see what would happen, I was actually shocked coming into the States was easier than leaving. No x-ray or anything.

"Do you have any illegal drugs or money over $10,000?"

"I wish"

"Welcome to America, have a nice night!"


Maybe next time I really will hit the farmacia candy shop and load up more. I just thought the anavar would be fun to have on the shelf and maybe experiment with.

Took a while to get into a squat rack so just did what I could to warm up, cleaning ez bars and racking them btn lol.

High bar is definitely in virgin territory. That set did drain me a bit to follow up volume suffered a bit, still felt like a session of progress

Weight was 185 day I left to vacation, 190.00 this morning. So I'm just gonna cruise this week, maybe throw in a fast, figure out my legit weight.

Wife has one last surgery Thursday, then I'm thinking I'll start my run on the bench cycle possible as early as next Monday.

Been torn between starting now and waiting till Thanksgiving.

I think that depends on daily dosage and length of run right ? I've read everything from 5-10mg a day to 30-50mg a day. It was cheap and experimental so I just got 80 x 10mg tabs

And @Hyde I was thinking the same thing re: roidtest

On a practical level, you can skip the Roidtest cost & just take a tab twice per day next time you do a hormonal run and use a SERM PCT.

If you hold a lot of water you know it’s Dbol, and if you don’t it may be a small amount of Var, Winstrol, or nothing. But even placebo was proven to make enhanced gains in studies with bum orals.

I was thinking if I play with the anavar sometime around Thanksgiving might be a good starting point and gives me a few months since my last big epi run. Then probably pct around new years. Could be fun to run this tandem with the big bench effort and see what comes of it.
 
Yeah, @20mg a day you should see some benefits for sure. It isn't going to be overwhelming or anything but you should definitely see some gains if you give it something to work with. If you run 20mg a day you get 40 days out of that. I would time it so it covers both Thanksgiving feeding and Christmas feeding if possible. Make the most out of the 2 large feedings. You basically have 2 days shy of 6 weeks so if you start on Sunday the 17th you will be done Dec 29th, just in time to have a drink or 2 for New Years Eve if you want it.

It is good you have Tamox on hand for the start of this just in case it is DBol and you notice your nips getting bothered you can start the tamox to keep the nipples safe and just order some more for PCT.

Honestly, I think that would be like tossing gasoline on a napalm fire. It MIGHT increase combustion, but could you even tell with the big fire already burning? I would just let the var stand on it's own so you can see exactly how it treats you. Save the other bottle for your PCT / Bridge since you know it treats you well as a natty supplement..

Definitely my thoughts; that’s a much better supplement for PCT/off time to help keep things feeling better than otherwise
 
I like this plan, I think it's coming together. Sounds pretty simple. Lets me spend the next two week still focusing on squats a bit, shave off a couple Mexico pounds, then make a hard push for end of year bench PRs (hopefully). Then start new years in PCT mode and regroup.
 
Lol you found out that Light Day just means the primary Bench absolute load is lesser than the Heavy Day…but it’s actually the Volume Day! AKA you should be eating the most food of your entire week the day prior to & on this day, because you stand to realize the greatest overall hypertrophy stimulus of your training week.

I think if you do this program while actually cutting you are asking for an injury. I’m not saying you need to try to push the scale up, but you should really target a modest surplus of 3-400 calories at least to try to recover sufficiently & make the work worthwhile.

I don’t know what calculator you’re using, but all of the accessories are really just bodybuilding rep scheme based. Pick the weight that lets you hit the target reps listed near failure, and try to generally progress that whenever it seems doable. Only the primary bench/variants have suggested %.

I figure I have 2 more good session in me before I run into the cube predator programming so I want to get a good speed/banded work day in, followed by a raw 1rm day then shed some fatigue, recover a bit before going balls to the wall for the last 6 week so of the year.


in other news, my boy tested 1rm today in school and texted me to let me know he nailed a 275lb squat. up from 245lbs. he's only been doing this since summer................ what's really cool is he's catching the bug, he's super jazzed about this PR.

I truly think he has 315 in him now, but I want him to be safe about it.

seeing as how my last session was 250 x 5 before we went on our trip, I don't feel bad about my 265 x 3 today at all. seems about on par. I think things in a good holding pattern right now preparing for the next launch.

Good workout….. always love hearing about the youngsters getting the workout bug and getting fired up. And that’s good numbers for his age and having just started. You’ll have to let him know you shared it on your workout forum and we were all impressed.💪😎
