Glad you were able to get after it today! I can imagine the stress is pretty high trying to sell and move etc. etc. if you can get back in the groove of going and help get rid of the stress on the weights!
It's kind of funny, my Garmin actually shows lower stress levels than I've had in the history that I've had it, my hair color is coming back in my beard, and I've been sleeping like the dead. I don't take Stress and Anxiety that often, so I don't think it's just that lol.

Your stresses have been on my mind, I remember precisely when I was in your EXACT same scenario and I get it. that's the only time in my life that I experienced crippling panic attacks and thought I was having a legit heart attack (I wasn't. resting rate at the ER was like 44 , but at least the nurse was hot).

All I know is when I go to bed at night I honestly say a prayer of gratitude for my wife. I have done divorce, crazy in laws, the rough moves, the walk of shame as you take a box of clothes from the house YOU bought out to your car, and I will do anything to not have to do that again!

crippling panic attacks and thought I was having a legit heart attack (I wasn't. resting rate at the ER was like 44 , but at least the nurse was hot).
This exact thing happened to me about a week and a half ago, minus the ER. My HR was actually lower than usual for me at mid to low 50s, usual resting (sleeping) is 55-58, but my chest was getting tight, cold sweats, breathing felt labored. My blood pressure was elevated, not incredible, but I'm usually spot on if not low for my age. Weirdest thing, I drank some ice water, hit my weed vape, and laid outside flat on the grass. I'm still not exactly sure what happened there, I'm writing it up as an anxiety attack.

To the rest of it, other than being stuck in this purgatory of a house, I'm definitely coming out on top. She got hit and her car got totaled which was in my name, so that's one less thing on my report for the new mortgage (she's fine, $ wasn't my first thought lol), she owes me 4 figures of money that's in the sale contract to come to me at closing, among other things. I don't feel any different, but there's empirical evidence that she may have been destroying my health and sanity 😅
 
I'm writing it up as an anxiety attack.

might very well have been, when I was running 2 businesses I experienced anxiety attacks, not super severe, except the sleepless nights for a year. they felt like my brain was trying to kill itself. the panic attacks contrasted in that I was getting major shots of adrenaline. a 15-30 minute panic attack would knock me out and I'd sleep for like 4 hours. This was when I was in peak physical shape and still competing locally a lot. I researched my options a lot and the drug based solutions looked very permanent. lots of discussion on chemically rewiring your brain, etc. I hadn't thought of or tried THC, instead I figured hey it's the fight or flight drug right? Lets train it to fight. so every time I felt a panic attack start, like driving down i5 in traffic, I turned on the nastiest heaviest metal I could and tried to get angry until it faded. that ended up being my self medication.

Saw Dr Mike doing good mornings on EliteFTS this morning and just had to get some of that. First time touching the SSB :LOL: I probably could have done more weight, but holy hell do I need to rebuild my muscle memory. Gym owner walked up to me and swore me out for not seeing me for over a month, then coming in and rocking out a set at 335 for squats lol.

Completely different note, Alpha Gel is REALLY fucking with my shoulders these days, I've had hives off and on for 2 weeks under my beard and couldn't figure it out, it's ungodly annoying. It has to to be the cause. Anyway, rotated it to my love handles, and carnitine to the clavicles and all seems well today. Not sure if it's the heat, humidity, or whatever, but I'm over the itchy!

Nevermind, my sides are broke out in hives... damn, I was loving alpha gel

might see if @sns8778 has feedback. Alpha Gel has consistently been the easiest TD for me. sometimes i put it on my feet but I know Steve recently mentioned that if you truly have a reaction then hives on the feet might be worse. such a weird reaction, I haven't had that issue at all.

Yeah I'm not too happy about it, especially after most of a bottle! I did send him a message as well.

I've only ever used a standard bar for them, so I'm not entirely sure there was a massive difference lol. Maybe if I did a side by side

I guess I have a problem with the bar trying to roll forward on me, where the SSB looks like it would just stay locked in place.

Oh that's a very fair point. I have done good mornings in a long while, but I liked to use DBs for the grip aspect

What I mentioned in that other thread wasn't related to hives, that person was having a reaction he equated to feeling like a sunburn to another company's product.

In that person's case, he was thinking of doing a skin spot test and I was saying that that may be a bad idea for his case because if it left him with a burn type breakout feeling, the feet would be a miserable place for that.

Completely different situation and context.

In this case, I think the feet would be a good suggestion, but also think rotating application areas may be as well.

Seems like a good all around stack to at least maintain health and still promote growth. Next cycle will be reintroducing:

No :( 4 walk throughs in the last 2 weeks, I was pretty sure 2 of the groups would offer but no luck. Of course, the market is screeching to a halt up here. It'll happen, my last 2 places sold VERY quickly so I'm trying to remind myself this is a normal situation lol.

It will for sure happen, I don’t quite understand the market here. Some houses I’ve seen sit and then others it’s like one day the sign is up next day the moving trucks are there and people moving in.
Seeing a lotttt of Washington plates around this year @Dustin07 must be chasing them all out of his state!

That's the reason I can't ever move back. EVER.

Some houses I’ve seen sit and then others it’s like one day the sign is up next day the moving trucks are there and people moving in.
It's similar here, I have one of the biggest houses outside of the country clubs in the area, I was sure that'd be a huge selling point quickly. However I'm seeing more houses on the market, prices dropping, all sorts of bad signs lol. It'll happen eventually, just disconcerting since I'm under contract on a place for another 76 days, but stuck here until it sells.

Seems like a solid approach. I can't recall if I ever ran AE + AXT at the same time, but have stacked both with PA. It's going to be a lot of daily caps for you to choke down though, hope you like to swallow.

joking aside, I split mine in half and try to take as many as possible when brushing my teeth and the rest at work thoughout the day. at one point I think I was at like 24-26caps per day. that's a job in itself....

yeah I've gotten to where I'm throwing down usually 3 at a time otherwise I'm going to need like 20oz of water or more if I do one at a time all morning long lol

Haven't touched the system in 7 years, or brewed on a big system since 2020, what could go wrong?! It's VERY physically strenuous, so coupled with lack of time, haven't trained much this week.

It’s definitely cutting season! Sounds like kinda a fun little time though brewing for a bit.

growing up cutting season meant I was going to earn $.15/bale bucking hay. Now days it means I'm taking my boy to grandpas to buck hay, lol.

First cutting wasn’t bad but that second cutting of more leaf and less stem was some heavy fuckers!
 
2024 SUCKS so far! A few weeks ago I was complaining about hives and had pondered Alpha Gel being the cause. I have no idea what's going on now, I initiated medical support yesterday and went to urgent care for some steroid cream. I don't have a primary care in this area and was hoping to hold off until I moved, but I'm seeing a Dr this week and hopefully getting to an allergen specialist, this crap is keeping me out of the gym and I don't want to be living on anithistamines.

Allegra and claritin help, but not by a lot. Zyrtec works well, but leaves me loop. Benadryl, of course, knocks me on my ass but works amazingly. The only thing that stayed consistent until this got REALLY bad is beer/alcohol, not even at an abusive level. Guess I'm just dealing with this until I can get clarity on a cause.

When I went through the big D I had something similar briefly pop up and I recall using some Benadryl while in Leavenworth one summer because of weird allergen type issues that magically faded away and never came back as time healed wounds. Hopefully yours is something simple too.... sorry buddy, not fun...

Everyone keeps saying maybe it's stress, and I'm not opposed to the idea. Specifically this flare up happened after 2 high grav IPAs, started getting flushed and hot then broke out in this crap. **** sucks.

This might be completely irrelevant, but off chance have you changed laundry soap/fabric softener etc?

certain brands will do that to me from my shirts and only on the shoulder neck area and it can happen immediately or after weeks of switching there is no rhythm or reason to it.

I have AFTER the fact lol, everything "free and clear" atm.

I've heard of that too, I recall in my 20s certain beers would do that. and when my wife and I used to visit wineries they talked about sulfates effecting people differently so some people were proud of their zero sulfate wine. But FWIW when my stress level is high, I'm susceptible to small stuff. When I'm high as a kit and riding the good life, nothing can knock me down. maybe you need some androsterone in your life lol

Not against it 😏 they gave me topical triamcinolone that apparently was banned because people were using it for weight loss lol.
