Ubiquinol and the whole CoQ12 family are used all over in the body - seems I can't talk to any professor without it coming up in their research in some way...
50mg - 100mg daily should suffice for non-therapeutic purposes. Prefer CoQ10 Ubiquinol to standard CoQ10 (Ubiquinone). Ubiquinol is considerably more bioactive.
