The Aging Bull...

You got the right idea!
Thx. I definitely think I'm going to have to force myself to eat less. I'm definitely going to be burning less calories and I don't wanna get any fatter. My bodyfat is teetering on the line between bulking and fatass lol

Day 4 of quarantine, I'm running low on Oreos and swiss cake rolls and the snack aisles are empty. Milk is scarce and the electric scooter I ordered won't be delivered for 2 weeks.

Are you full quarantine and can't go outside? I took my mtn bike out on a 20 mile trail ride yesterday and it was amazingly peaceful and quiet.

No it's not that bad lol. Restruants as of now can still do take out only and drive thru. Grocery store has reduced hours. Everything else is closed. Everything in town shuts down at 8pm. But it's been raining the past 3 days so I've been stuck in the house. Did some deadlifts and pull-ups Monday and some overhead presses and floor presses Tuesday. But that's about it this week. I actually tried to go grocery shopping this morning and had to wait a hour for the store to open. Most stuff was sold out. No fucking half and half for my coffee . Gonna do some cooking. Chicken fajitas with rice and beans then go do deadlifts and pull ups again in my flooded basement

I've kinda fell into a weird diet. Skipping breakfast most days other then today. And eating 3 main meals that are around 700 calories each, plus a sandwich at night or pbj on a bagel. I polished off the snacks Monday so I won't be buying more because I will destroy them. Today is also my birthday. Got a ipad mini from my kids so gonna try to learn how to use it at some point today. I'm only 35 but when it comes to tech stuff I'm like a 80yr old man

Happy birthday! What a time to be alive eh?
Thanks, luckily I quit drinking because if I didn't I would be pissed that all the bars and casinos are closed. There's not much I could have done to celebrate even if the town wasn't shut down

You know what they say, when you hit rock bottom there's nowhere to go but up
Check your messages foo!

How you feeling since stopping the SD?

Lol. So here's a update.

I'm staying at 150 test 150 eq every 3 days. So 350 each per week or something like that. Untill I for see what this crazy doomsday stuff turns into I wan to make my supply last. Strength and pumps have not changed much from when I was on sd. Bodyweight is still 208.

I'm doing a pull day with 1 leg exercise at the end

And a push day.

My only heavy exercises are deadlifts, close grip bench and over head press on a flat bench.

My goals have changed drastically. I'm working on building my deadlift form and strength back up and building as much strength on those 2 pressing moves as I can. As soon as the weather gets nicer I will be doing clean and press variations outside and farmers walks with some heavy shyt I'm making out of concrete. Sd is being saved till commercial gyms open back up. And I still will probably double the eq dose after 6 weeks.

My reason for changing goals is mainly diet. I kinda got to eat whatever is available at the store. I did stock up on meat but I got 3 other mouths to feed and I may be out of work soon.

That means less meat and more rice, pasta beans and canned veggies. I still can eat fairly healthy and get enough protein but, carbs and total calories work better for strength then they do body composition. I'm literally the only person in my direct family that gives 2 shits about fitness. My brother even let him self fall off hard the past year and gain like 50 lbs of bad weight. And given the circumstances, I can't tell everyone not to eat the chicken and steaks or whatever till we better understand how this virus crap will play out

This log is dead till things go back to normal. if anyone ask me a question I'll answer it but I'm not going to keep updating. I don't really see much of a point. I'm just going to keep my log book and go about my business

Focus on beating that log book right now and you may surprise yourself!
That's the plan. I'm slowly working back up in weight on deadlifts, going hard on ohp, and say my last set of ohp is 185, then that's the number I start with on close grip bench working up to a 6rep max. My close grip is a lot stronger then I thought it was.

Ohp I usually do back supported, no more tho strict seated ohp. Numbers are lower but so far they seem to be coming up fast

So I know I said I wasn't going to continue this log but I have some pictures I wanna throw up. Not good ones.

I haven't really done any cardio, my workouts have been strength focused, and I've been eating way way too much and not the greatest selections. I've gained 8lbs and put a inch on my waist in the past week or two. Not happy but I'm making a point here to not only show pictures I think look good. I've also lost pretty much all definition in my back unless I flex as hard as I can. I'm going on a diet and adding volume days back in alternating between the 2. Also buying a mountain bike this weekend and hanging my heavy bag.

Just keep gaining weight and go for that power lifter look

Bro I’m there, it’s not a particularly great look lemme tell ya. Not the kind of thing you wanna bring into summertime
That's why I don't want to keep doing it. It looks great with a t-shirt on but not on the beach. I don't need a ripped 6pack but I don't want my stomach spilling over my shorts either. I also didn't factor in I'm not working as much as normal "manual labor"

I'm probably Overeating like 1200 calories a day

This is what I ate yesterday lol

1/2lb ground beef and 2 eggs

A family size Southwest salad kit and 12oz keilbasa

A large buffalo chicken grinder

1 scoop whey, chia seeds and a banana

2 bowls beef stew with white rice

Peanut butter and jelly on a bagel with coffee and cream

2 slices funfetti cake and milk.

A gallon of water with eaa's mixed in through the day

This is fine for me when im working 10hr labor shifts, lifting for 1.5 hours 6 days a week and doing some cardio. Not ok for someone sitting around, doing no cardio and 30min lifting 5xweek

Anyone here used transdermal dienolone? Just came across some for cheap, wondering if it's worth picking up for a future run

No but I’ve got some IM from NOS I am just waiting for the right time to use eventually.

Nice. Supposed to be a great recomp agent with some good strength and vascularity increase. Like a tren-lite, less sides, less extreme in every way.
Yep, that's y I grabbed it. Gonna throw it in right away after my diet is in check. Started a new meal plan today. I'm fuckin starving lol

I've put together enough equipment for a solid work out plan and I got a bike coming this weekend for cardio. Any1 interested in a new thread/log. I've been on roughly 300/300 test eq for I think 3 weeks almost 4, going to bump that to 450/450 and add 50mg dienolone per day for 2 weeks, 75mg for 2 weeks and then 100mg for the last 10days or so.

I'm still trying to piece stuff together...so far I have a bench, olympic BB, and 200lb of weights

I'm up to a bench, makeshift squat rack, barbell with 300 lb of weights, 20-35lb dumbbell pairs, a couple single dumbbells that are heavier, light cable stuff, a pull up bar, bands chains and a treadmill. And I have a bike on the way

That sounds good to go...may never need to return to a gym

I think a LOT of gyms are going to see bad dips in membership when they re-open. Between all of the folks who invest in home equipment and the many more less dedicated who fall off the wagon completely until New Year’s comes back around.

Yeah I think your right....I was kind of planning to sell off my stuff for outrageous prices; just prior to the gyms re opening...it may be difficult to forecast though

I'm excited to have more home stuff. And I hope gyms do loose members, I hate waiting on machines lol

Yeah, i could see developing my home gym as a cool hobby. I'm almost interested in reburshing old rusty weights and stuff since that's all I can find for a reason labke price...lol

Cheap fix, soak the plates in Coca-Cola for 24 hours. Then take a a Brillo pad, the ones with the soap already in them and scrub them up good. Rinse , dry and spray paint them.

Excellent...I saw a method online that involved white vinegar soaking and a few more steps. I like the sound of this much better.

Going from coke the first soak to viniger for a second soak is even better. The way I listed is not going to get you brand new looking plates. It's just a quick easy way to clean them up so there not a rusty eyesore

Thats fine for me...the dont need to be perfect...and that Rustoleum will make em look legit.

Still going hard I see. Noice
I've moved to a new log based around getting my bench press up to 350 hopefully by the end of the month for a bet, but yes. Working out 5 days a week and eating a lot although my weight has stayed the same. I think I might need to force-feed a few weeks to get my body out its comfort zone which appears to be 208lbs.

The reason I made a new log was to have it in the training section so I could attract a few strength oriented ppl to pop in
