Notes

I've been drinking way too much coffee. I get bored and wanna go out and drink with friends sometimes and I resort to drinking a bunch of coffee instead. Just like everything else with me I'm not sensitive to stims so I don't notice any problems but it can't be good, 4-5 cups a day plus a pre-work out and superdrol in the mix.

On a side note, last year on March 9th I decided to go 30 days without alcohol. It turned into me saying il drink on the 4th of July, I didn't, then I said I will on Halloween, I didn't. Now it's been a year. I don't miss drinking, I just miss going out. I've learned that a lot of things I thought I liked to do, I really only like doing when I'm drinking.

Sooooo bored all the time lol
Great job cutting out the booze. I did the same. I've had a couple slip ups lately and I feel like ****

7 days in.

Gained 8 lbs.
Pumps are amazing.
No negatives from the sd I can see.
No change in body composition, just a little bigger.

Although the style I'm training feels great, I don't like training 1 bodypart at a time and I feel like I need more frequency.

I'm switching to a routine I know works for me but the training style and exercise selection will stay the same.

Chest and Tris
Back and bis
Shoulders and legs
Repeat.
Only taking rest days if needed

Ya, I'm hitting everything 2x per 10 days on this program, not liking it. I like 2x week. Honestly I'd train everything 3x a week if I could. Just not possible for me tho

Even if you take a rest before or after leg day every rotation of that, you’d still have 2x frequency e8d. 20% more often than e10d currently.

I see that, I'm just gonna go back to my 3 day split tho. At least I know it works for me.

Weight is the same today, girlfriend says my stomach looks flatter and a lil more defined as well as my shoulders. I'm going to eat a little more calories from carbs. I also am thinking about taking them intra workout and adding 1 more set per exercise

Ya I know, I was using talk to text, idk why the word tho is at the end of that. I also have a habit of typing and saying what I'm thinking and sending it without reading it back to see how it sounds lol. I got what your saying. Had a nice treat at work tonight. They had a bunch of sushi grade tuna and it was slow and some cancellation for tomorrow night. So my cousin made some tuna tar tar and pan seared a few other pieces real quick . So I had about 10 ounces tuna and a salad for dinner. I'm around 500 calories short tho today so I'm thinking a nice carb heavy dessert before bed. Legs and shoulders tomorrow

So I got some questions for everyone.

My gym for boxing and powerlifting/strongman stuff is closed till April 1st. In the meantime only have access to a fukin planet fitness and my home stuff which is a barbell, 300lbs of plates and a couple dumbbells. No squat rack or bench at the house. The welds on my old power rack are shot.

Do I put superdrol on the back burner and just do high volume **** at pf for the next 3 weeks? Then start over on sd when I have access to my regular stuff again. It's only been like a week. I just don't like the idea of only using machines, a smith machine and the dumbbells top out at 75lbs. Or am I just overthinking this and should stick to the plan

I would drop the Superdrol or any orals in light of the virus potentially coming through soon. Like you said Sdrol will be there.

You don’t need to go high volume for everything.

At home you can deadlift or do deficit deads or RDLs if 345 is too light for regular deads. Also Zercher squats, cleans & presses (strict, push, jerks), high pulls, lighter front squats, and good mornings (limited by what you can push over your head onto shoulders). Plus barbell rows, curls, skullcrushers, floorpress, Glute Bridges, suitcase carries. With the dbs you can do all your delt work/raises, overhead snatch, maybe some Arnold Presses, pec flyes w exaggerated tension. You can take the weights into the yard while training if height of ceiling is limiting. Easier on plates anyway.

At PF you can do any weight smith pressing from any angle, smith squats which feel awesome, and pinch dbs between your legs for heavy weighted chin-ups. Plus all the various machines and db work.

Both places should offer you ways to get big and strong AF if you just focus on what you have. Basically the only thing you don’t have is a way to test heavy squats, bench, and deadlift. But you can easily build all of those things.

And if you are worried about food in a quarantine, grab a couple giant bags of rice & beans now. Eat enough carbs constantly and you only need half the protein you think to bulk.

I'm not worried about caronavirus in the slightest. But I'm going to lay off sd and revisit it later. Stick with my test/eq at 300 each. I'm stocked up on rice, pasta and caned beans and caned veggies. Probably 30lbs of meat in my freezer and protein powders. Going to do my squats and benching and bent over rows in the smith machine. I skipped the gym today and will do legs and shoulders tomorrow at planet fitness.

Db clean and press
Smith machine hack squat
Smith shoulders press
Leg press
Side db raise
And some extra fluff stuff if im in the mood.

I wish just for once my cycles would go as I originally planned them, but something always seems to set them back. either way there's plenty of time till summer I'll figure it out.

I'm also going to drastically simplify my diet

1. 45gm whey, 2 bananas, 2 tbsp peanut butter.

2. 1/2 lb meat with rice or pasta and veggies

Repeat 1

Repeat 2

Eaa and simple carbs intra workout.

Sorry this log sucks lol

A lot of Bros logs are going to not be the same temporarily. That's okay. Muscle on! Good idea dropping the sdrol.

I figure if I keep going hard and maintain 208lbs maybe even lean out a little at this weight over the next 3-4 weeks. Then add sd back and hopefully put another 10 lbs on

It's not about managing. It's about maximizing. Superdrol is the strongest oral in my opinion and I want to get the most out of it because it should not be used often.

My gym schedule is screwed up a little as I gotta readjust for pf and go at times of the day it's not a madhouse there which is before 6am and after 9pm. I can't do after work there cus too many ppl and not enough equipment at that time. Heavy free weights are out, work shifts are changing slightly too because my day job is painting and I got people pushing jobs back because there getting worried about money with the caronavirus crap so I'm shuffling around stuff. My part time night job is bartending and business is slow so I'm kinda on call only other then Saturday nights which I got out early today. Kids are out of school for the next 2 weeks so I gotta deal with there bullshit more too lol. I can stop sd now like I never started and pick it back up in April with no loses. I'm still in a low dose of test/eq so it's not like I can't make progress. 1 want to get the most out of sd and now is not the time

My shoulders and traps are always my strong points. Even as a kid. Always been strong at picking up heavy stuff, all state wrestler, mediocre boxer but was known for punching power. Always worked some form of labor job from moving furniture to laborer to painter. My shoulders and traps have been worked hard my whole life

Starting fresh and simple

Meal 1. 1.5 scoops whey, 2 bananas and a scoop of peanut butter, 12oz water, 1/4tsp cinnamon.

Gym in 45min. Going to do 15 min on the elliptical then something like the workout I outlined yesterday. I don't know how busy the gym will be but if it's crowded il just swap exercises. I'm not one to sit around for 5-10 min and wait for a machine or set of dumbbells.

Following... Nice work.
Believe me I know, but I'm trying to accomplish all the things I should have did 10 years ago over the next year or two. 35 is pretty damn old when it comes to boxing and MMA stuff. The Aging Bull is my twist on Jake LaMotta the raging Bull

So going to planet fitness was not a terrible thing, as soon as I walked in I bumped into someone I know from years ago. They were doing shoulders and triceps so I worked out with him.

We talked about what times we can both go and we're gonna try to cater to each other by kinda combining our workouts splits into what suits us both. He's a barely ever train legs guy, squats one day a week and deadlifts one day a week normally and that's it for legs. He rides a bike a lot and calls those his leg workouts. Sense there's no real squatting or deadlifts at planet shitness he agreed to 1 leg workout a week. So I told him il make leg day and he can come up with the rest as long as it includes a few main lifts I want so we will see... We're gonna do back and biceps tomorrow as of now. We're very similar in pressing and pulling strength so should be good. I've not had a workout partner in over a year.

Stuck to my meal plan today, 1 meal left to go.

Pretty exciting about the new training partner!
It was exciting for about 12 hours lol.

Just sent out a group text two three or four people I know that workout, basically telling them they can use my house at certain times of the day if they want to work out with me. It's a damp moldy dungeon down there but I got a treadmill, a pull-up bar, a couple random dumbbells, does a barbell weigh 300 lb of weights. I also got a heavy bag I'm going to hang up tonight in an old Chuck NorrisTotal gym I'm gonna steal from my dad's house and modify it for cable exercises. I also found some chains and bands in my storage that I will throw down there too.

Going to train whatever I feel like and do random stuff to keep busy but I will use this time to fix my deadlift form, bent over rows and chins on 1 day. And build my standing overhead press strength with some accessory shoulder stuff on another day.

Idk what else. I'm playing it by ear.

I don't expect anyone to stay interested for the time being, I'm still going to use this to make notes of what I'm doing.

Home gym is limited. Going low Volume/high frequency till the gyms open back up. Dropping weight quite a bit while focusing on form and squeezing target muscles as hard as possible. but because of the frequency I will be adding weight back to the bar pretty fast. I've been wanting to drop the weight and really tighten up form for a while but ego stops me. In the basement there's no1 to impress.

Weighted chins 5x5 @ 10lbs
Deadlifts 3x5 @ 250lbs
Seated cable rows 3x20
Twisting db curls (rotation into a reverse curl on the way down) 3x10 @ 25lbs. That's it.

Extremely boring but I really made the weights feel heavy. Other then the deadlifts. They were super light but training this way I will be adding reps to the chins, rows and curls, and adding 10lbs to the deadlifts every 2-3 days. So within 20 days hopefully il be doing these with my normal weights and reps but with strict form.

And any training is better then doing nothing.
