what is lupus?
what is lupus?
I don't necessarily buy this whole "gotta wait till you fill your frame naturally" talk... I do buy the "don't be an 18 year old moron" talk however.
The biggest issues are two things IMO. First, when you are 18-25 your test levels should be so freaking sky high that you should gain without help from any testosterone booster/hormonal product. But if you want to run a steroid after 21 I have no real qualm with it... it's your life, I started with non-methyls when I was 24. The thing you really want to make sure about is whether or not your growth plates have closed.
Teg- If you wan to run a really mellow cycle with (from what I can recall from my experience) no real side effects to note, try out M1D/MMV2 stack. Now it will probably be M1Dblack and MMV3, but regardless, I grew 12 lbs on my M1D/MMV2 stack. I don't know how much I really kept, since I had NO clue what I was doing at the time as far as cycling goes... but that is a great stack for a beginner, with low to no side effects, and an OTC PCT is COMPLETELY appropriate. During that cycle I gained crazy strength too. I went from moving the 85's on the flat bench for about 4-5 to moving the 110's for 2-3. As TG would say, it was like the light of Odin had shined on me. That was the best workout day of my life. I still remember the rush.
yeah gotta protect the growth plates... in my case
Humira can actually decrease the body's immune system's ability to fight infections. It basically works by blocking the protein found in the body's immune system that causes joint swelling and damage.
I think you should listen to people who have actually done cycles and not listen to people that havent done them. If there is someone that hasnt done them, but has witnessed change first hand (workout partner) you could take that info too. You can get more factual information this way.
I can give you alot of medical aspects and ive witnessed many of my old partners dabble in PH/DS/AAS. Hell, they all came to me to get their PCT's and more straightened out. And ive NEVER done a cycle. TL, G Money, Sunny and some others have a bunch of experience. They could steer you in the right direction.
As of now, its a waiting game. Those drugs could actually put your body in a more fragile state and irritate your GI symptoms. Humira works in nearly the same capacity as Imuran in the weakening of the immune system.
Ya , Remi works basically the same way cept it use's mouse proteins while Humira and Cimziause humen proteins, correct? *Edit* Arnt they all TNF Blockers? As far as i know they all are which is why it can lower the immune system, yes?Humira can actually decrease the body's immune system's ability to fight infections. Nobody is going to try this. I was explaining treatment including Humira and the use of PH.
Thanks! Ill be the first to say, its NOT EASY! Its mentally tough no doubt, and its VERY draining! I wouldnt rec. this for just anyone thats for sure! But i do enjoy it and will deff. come back to it again in the future!
That said, im thinking i may stop it next week or week after cause it is so draining, physically AND mentally! What do you think??? Ive been on it for a lil more then a month, but i FEEL like its been much longer! lol
already? boo.... seriously, that workout worked very well for me. you may need to find your own variation, because recovery must be harder for you with crohns and lupus - just from a recovery aspect and adequately absorbing nutrients. maybe the workout though will give you ideas on how to make your own program? or tweak it to 4x6, 4x7, 4x8, 4x9, 4x10 and then add weight? do what your body feels is right.
it is a beast of a workout though, i must agree.
Well its a thought. It is quite draining tho. And yes, that is possible! Im deff. happy with the strength gains for sure! The Weights just keeps goin on up! Tho im wondering if its to much for gaining weight for me like you said. Its something i was wondering about over the weekend or im just not pushing myself enough???
2 lean pounds per month is hard gaining huh?

Are you pushing yourself? I started my log to keep myself going. With my back injury and scoliosis I'm fighting to get my training done.
If your still going up in weights I would say keep it up. Do you use any vit B's say 12 or a multi B?
what is "scoliosis"?
Yes, he is right, I have 2 spinal curves my lower back curves in and my upper curves to the side a little.
It does not affect my training most of the time. My form may differ a little but I have great back development.
you also have to give mass time - 2 lean pounds per month is the most to expect under optimal circumstances. if the weights are going up, and your calories are high enough, mass has to come. again though, you might find something that works better for you.
Yes, em! Very Hard as Always! It seems like im never doing enough, but then i look back and im like, ya im doing quite a bit, and thats just it. I push harder then anyone i know only to gain an inch while others gain a mile. But i understand the differences. Are you pushing yourself? I started my log to keep myself going. Hahaha Will do, you want it for 2 times right? hahaha Ill get pics up when i hit 160pds and you guys tell me. I just look "leaner" in the mirror tho im gaining mass and getting stronger so that is a much appreciated bonus!Gaining weight and leaning out....sign me up for that! Nice job on the Iron fest Teg.
Many Thanks Borther! Ya Sure! Did you just say ya sure? No i said, ya sure sir! hahahaBravo homie... that's what it is all about.
Yup! Lets hope it stays this way! I wanna hit my squats for 135x10x4 soooo bad by 160pds! hahaha Why? I :dunno: just a new goal hehehethe scale is following your strength
leaning out and gaining weight. see, being an ecto is fun![]()
Try varying up that 135 squat number a little bit. Try throwing it up 15 times - then go at 155 for 5 or 6... Keep those quads guessing, and your strength (and size) will explode.
dont be dissing on the ecto!!!!! ecto's can get just as buff and we dont gotta worry about getting fat![]()
Going in to get my remicade monday, thought of you. I hate the I/V part but i have a hott nurse soooo its alll good. ha. Hope things are going well boss. Keep lifting big dawg!
