She is from Ohio. Her and her friend Olivia (Hot as hell also, did some modeling for one of those like "Alternative rock" magazines) are coming down here to Florida the 3rd of July. They are staying until the 18th, then me and both of them are going to be living out of my condo in roughly a month and a half from now.

I'll be sure to get tons of pictures for you guys.

Also I go to New York every other month or so, so I'll pass by Dirty Jerz with some hotties for my Army Man.

Oh your in FL, thought you were in jerz for some reason o.O

I still need to fly over sometime

Where is she from in Ohio?

I was just tossing the tat idea around with the wife last night. As of now at age 32, I have none. I am currently debating a St Michael that might say "Defend us in Battle," but can't think of where I would want it. I have always wanted a sleeve along the lines of the George Clooney "Dusk Til Dawn" one.

Archangel Michael?

That is a rad idea man. I would recommend the front of your forearm, where the hair grows. As long as its not too detailed that it not a very painful spot. If there is lots of shading its going to hurt like hell no matter where lol. I think I am going to have "Let God sort them out" done about my archangel now!!

This is just why I made this thread, great ideas !!

Hell yea coolazice, I can't rep you any more lol. I am partial to eagles and patriotic things :D

Yeah, the archangel. He's kind of been a personal fascination since I was a kid. He's also the patron saint of the military. His prayer begins with "St Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle." It's also on the St. Michael medals on my and my wife's dogtags.

I wanted to get two tats but decided not to get it but this is what i wanted i wanted the greek word 'genomahi' on one forearm and on the other forearm would be the word 'megalous'. Done know if i spelled it right but what they stand for is "to become great". I wish i could show yall the picture but i have one on my back thats covers my whole upper back Its angel wings surrounding a sun and a knights sword stabbing through the sun. While catching the wings on fire from the sun. My back is soooo sensitive that i passed out when i got it done lol!! I told the tattoo artist that if i pass out just keep going haha. But yeah kinda sad i know but funny....

DO IT.

I'm not Catholic, but I think I may get one of these medals...

Ok here's my submission... Two main tattoo's, I have a couple of others but really they aren't worth photographing. I was booked in for a session on 2nd July, but ended up cancelling as I couldn't make up my mind on the next piece, so holding off for now until I make a decision.

that damn avatar! you're right, I must change it... thanks for the comments!

Cool idea for your sleeve, what's your timeframe?

Well my black sleeve, the one with the bear and wolf done, the Ram I drew up there^^^^
and a rhino up on my shoulder sometime....hmmm I am getting the ram done in July when I am home, then back to Iraq for an undetermined amount of time, in which I will draw up the rhino, and have it done on my return :D

The right arm color sleeve will probably take several more years, things on that arm MUST have significant meanings. I may get my dads death date, and I have plans for some hebrew text, but I need to perfect it still

this one was my mom's mothers day present this year

Any of you fellas know of a legit and preferably free site I can get get english to latin translations ? I found a company out of Manhattan that charges a flat fee of 50 bucks . That could be for on line/phrase or an entire page of stuff .If I can't find a site that is free and won't dole out a ton of malware/viruses and crap then I might get all my friends to give me anything they might want for a latin tat and make em chip in five bucks or something for the Manhattan place .

This one is extremely solid. Type what you want and it will show you a list of possible latin words. You have to try it to see what I'm talking about. I tested it with a bunch of crests and stuff that I know, but like I said up there^ Latin is incredibly open to interpretation, and I would bet you money that if you paid 2 companies to translate the same thing you would get VERY different results.

+ Latin isn't a spoken language anymore, so you could get away with just doing something that sounds cool (use the tool I linked, but pick words that flow together) instead of being perfectly grammatically correct, if you want it totally correct I would pay someone. Latin and Aramaic are two languages I would not translate online if I was looking for super high quality.

Example: My family crest says Vigila et Ora, Watch and Pray.

Ora in latin can mean: beg, ask for, beseach, plead, worship, pray, entreat, adore. Some of those are kind of the same thing, but some are so out of left field lol.

After looking some more into it, it looks like Latin has a bunch of cases and alternate endings. I would recommend paying someone, you will get perfect grammar at least.

Go here:

ProZ.com

You can make a job listing on there and someone will probably get back to you pretty quick, or you can post something on the forum, someone may do it for free even.

taken back a few years ago... And STILL havent gotten any more tats.

the pic is 35 hours in, just did a quick 2 more yesterday on left shoulder.

its a death theme based on my favorite album cover. my family's mausoleum and a pile of bones at the bottom. you have the reaper's face in the moon, his cloak blends with the clouds. and a wolf howling at the moon. the blank area bottom middle will be water, and the night sky/northern lights went on my left shoulder. the right sided tree will be on flames. have a good 16 hours left but we're entering this in a contest for my shop in October so i hope we do well. i'll stay updated :)

NICE! I have a new one as well, got it while on leave. Will post pics when I get back to my laptop!
