Ok I know some of you have tatoos that you are proud to display because they mean so much to you. Four questions:
1. What is the most you paid for a tatoo?
2. How much is the total cost of all the tatoos you have now?
3. Do you have a tatoo now that you regret getting, and why?
4. Would you or did you get a tatoo of a girl friend, wife, husband, boy friend? You get the picture.
 
being 17, i already have two, they both cost 150AUD, 300AUD total and are on the inside and outside of my upper left arm. XCI roman numerals for 1991 and TRP my initials both in Ye olde english.

with a third to come, but its still in the 3 month probation stage of mine still.

2. About $600? More soon. I have a half sleeve I want done.

3. i did but i got it covered up
4. soon only immediate family, and kids. GF's are temporary.. tattoos aren't!

#1- i dont wanna answer because i will cry,
#2- ill venture a guess around 3000 so far (ok now im starting to tear up)
#3- yea the on on my right arm. it looks too in the middle of no where, its tribal, and something i drew. so it has some meaning, but i wanna get some red tribal or something around it to make it look a little better.
#4- no, of my kids names though

1.$500 (rib cage)
2.3500 ( 2 half sleeves (including inside of arms), ribcage, calve, back, and traps.)
3.no
4. hell no!!!!

will definitely have 1 full sleeve by summer hopefully both will be done. so I'll be dropping at least another 1k.

damn son my half sleeve is gunna cost me almost 3k, but they are the best in LI, so i get what i pay for, but that sounds mad cheap. lucky

Yeah i have about 6 different artists that have tattooed me. a couple i just payed for the ink and needles. It's great having friends that tattoo. I had a decent amount of work done when i was stationed in guam. now i have a guy I beacme friends with through tattooing me and he hooks me up big time and is work is great.

yea i wish i had that relationship with my tattoo artist, my pocket wouldnt be soo empty

yeah I have my current wife's name, In my first marriage I thought it would be forever, but with my current marriage I know its forever. :lol:

actually no.. I am more towards the agnostic side.. little ironic huh.. my saying when asked and then get the weird look when I say now is "Well the guy who painted the last supper was a atheist and a total nut job"
 
Wow, you guys spend a TON of money on tats. I have one, and that is only because my ex GF got it for me as a bday present. I have to admit, it is addictive, but I promised my mom I would not get any more. When you get a tatoo, you cannot donate blood for a year. She figures if something happens and I have to donate blood, would not want that to get in the way. Oh BTW, my tat cost 350. You guys are spending house notes on tats. Have you ever spent money on one, then something really important came up, and you wished you had the money?
 
Money is no issue for me when it comes to tats. I usually just go in sessions and spend like $250 each time. My first tattoo was when i was 17 so over 7 years i spent about 3500 that's only $500 a year.
 
1)was around 250.
2) total for all tats, around 2000.00
3)A huge flower on the top of my right foot (hurt like hell)
4) nope, never happen

alright, i've got afew questions.

1. did any of you guys get tat's at 17?
2. do you still love them like you did on the day they were done?

i've got tat's now mainly because i want to be able to look at them in ten years, and remember where i was and what mindset i had at that point of my life. i guess i try to make it meaningful and badass at the same time lol.

I had my first one at 17. It's now my least favorite tattoo but i don't regret it. It just needs some touching up as the guy wasn't the best that did it.

I actually just made an appointment for saturday to get tatted. Getting my left forearm done, trying to ficish this sleeve up before the spring.

oh okay, good to know. but what was your first tat of though? i tend to put alot of thought into mine, and procrastinate for 3 to 4 months just to be sure i want it. like your birth year in roman numeral's i can't see myself getting sick of it, or my intials. pictures and what not i might be alittle cautious of though :think:

My first tattoo is a ative american chief, a wolf, and a falcon, with some mountains, and clouds and stuff on my back. I'm 25% native american and my whole left sleeve is basically native american style type tattoos that also incorporate places that i've been too and what not. When i get tattoos theres has to be something behind it. Now my right arm is all dark stuff like some demons, and theres also an angel That represents my dark side and i pretty much let my tattoo artist free hand his work on me. I love the dark work that he does and trust him enough to tattoo me like that. I do give him a basis though for what i want i just let him run with it.
