Dang Bro! Soild workout yet again! This is a run for the ages my friend! 55pd Front raises are flat nuts!
 
thanks :) got some work to do before i catch up to some of these guys. thundergod's curls are double what mine are, and russianstar's bench is almost double mine. got some work cut out for me :)

how good is your form with the 55s ?

very vague body english, nothing major though - the DB's start at my side, so there's no pre-movement rear swing. i pull the 55's up till i can't see my face in the mirror, so its raised to about eye level.

hrm, so friday is here. had a pretty good workout today - the gym was EMPTY. just the way i like it :) its GO time!! PR's in bold.


Friday
back/bi/rear delts

lat pulldowns (ultra wide) behind the back - 175x8/4/2 - up one rep and 5 lbs
lat "shrugs" 200x 3 sets of failure
pullups (ultra wide) BW x 10/5/3 - same
t bar rows 165 x 9/4/3 - lost 3 reps, up 5 lbs
straight arm lat pushdowns 130x 7/4/2 - up 2 reps. these are still very hard.
DB rear delt raises 40 x 9/5/3 - up one rep. couldn't get a set out of the 45's.
shrugs behind the back - 235 x 7/4/2 - up 5 more lbs, 3 reps.
preacher curls 100x 8/5/3 - up 1 rep.
deadlifts - 225x18. up 2 reps. hopefully i'll get a full widowmaker out of next week.

timber, do you think deads on tuesday (max effort 6-9 reps) and still doing a widow on friday is a good idea, or should i do the widows after tuesdays workout?

felt pretty good today, and looking at what i accomplished, i think i should have done better. i am my own worst critic though - progress is progress right? also, checked the scale - 201 today, so i've lost a pound (hopefully fat), though i'll let the pics on tuesday determine that. knees are feeling great now that i'm not doing leg extensions with that much weight - thanks AZMIDLYF :)

That is a soild work out to say the least brotha! Even looking back, progress is progress like ya said, and almost everything increased! You should be proud, which i know ya are, but still GREAT Job on killin it today! Im diggin the Lat Pull Downs and Preachers!!!

thanks man. i should have tried going up on the lat pulldowns today, but i'll push harder next time.
you taking anything for your elbow ?
just fish oil. i occasionally take osteo sport when my elbow/knees are more sore than usual, though its not part of my daily supplements.
 
The strength just keeps coming Sunny. This cycle seems to have kicked you into another gear...schweet!!

i've never really thought about it. i know when i wasn't weight training (in service circa 1995-1999) i could push the humvee when it broke down, but i've never really considered that.

that's exactly how i feel ! even when i'm not really feeling it at the gym, i can still squeak out one or two more reps.
 
I had actually thought about that..... Some of that Lemon Flavored stuff. Think they make an Orange to??? But i have 2bottles of fish oils still sittin here owell...

I have Orange.

I threw out the Nutraplanet garbage I bought... tasted not only fishy - but also like WD-40. Not worth it.

I just recently started following your log so i dont know how you've progressed over time but you're putting up some good numbers and I see you're up on almost all of your lifts thats major progress right there, looks like your strength is still picking up, good job bro!

Heck, I'm looking forward to what you will do on your next workout!

thanks man. basically, the NOS-FX got me very close to PR numbers (except bench), and the dienedrone/hdrol kicked those numbers sky high. now in PCT i'm trying to keep 100% of the strength gains :) i'll tell you that my PR (pre cycle) for deads was 245x8. on tuesday, i hit 345x7 :) still trying to hit my PR's for bench/incline and military press, but i'm getting closer.
 
I just took a look back and I can tell you done a great deal of progress since then, a picture dont lie.... your back has gotten much wider compared to back then,great job bro, and i like the write up you did on that page too... I gotta go back and read some more :thumbsup:

You can just put it in the fridge and no fishy aftertaste or burps. dont leave em out too long though!

bench 270 x 7/4/2 - lost two reps, up 5 lbs. almost within PR range :)
*new* chest dips BW + 90 x 8/5/2 - up 3 reps.
upright rows (smith) 190x 7/3/2 - down a rep, up 5 lbs.
incline bench 230x 7/3/2 - down 2 reps, up 5 lbs
CG bench 225 x 8/4/2 - same :(
military press 185x 9/5/2 - up one rep
cable crossovers 85 x 12/6/4 - up 2 reps
tricep dip machine
reverse grip - 220 x 10/5/3 - up 10 lbs, down 3 reps
overhand grip - 230 x 9/5/3 - down a rep, up 10 lbs
parallel - 250 x 11/6/2 - up 3 reps, and 10 lbs?

so i'm still progressing, even though it seems i'm slowing down a bit. i suspect the heat got to me a bit, but its something i'll have to power through. summer is going to be HOT! the pool will be good to go in two days, so that'll be my cardio probably for the duration of the summer :)

Nice WO bro! Heat or not, weight and reps still rising! Same for me today as far as zappin the energy, time i finally got home i was ready to pass out! Today was the hottest day we have had this yr, like 80+, but half the day i was in the hospital lol

Again nice lifts brotha!
