Sunclouds 8 week PULSE : LMG + HAVOC

Thanks for letting me know, I am in on this. I think my first time will be a pulse...considering caffeine puts me to sleep, and sleeping pills get me wired..... I wanna double check my bodies reactions. lol. Might take phera and lose muscle mass....j/k

Nice combo with the LMG+ Havoc. What lead to your decision?

pretty much as TG put it. the size and strength from LMG, the strength and hardening (water loss) of havoc. this will cut down the bloating that LMG (phera-esque) will cause. if i do a straight cycle of both compounds, i'll probably have an issue with my liver, since its not used to these. also, my G/F would hate it if i lost my libido. wait, i'm the one that would hate it. its the only cardio i believe in, so if i loose my libido, my system will probably crash.

thanks for stopping by zero V! good to have you here too.

wednesday. day three of the pulse. took my LMG and Havoc, and went to court. i figured i was already unhappy, might as well show up jacked. finished that, went to the gym. numbers went up, but only a little. here we go

bi's / tri's
4 sets of 10 as supersets
dips BW + 35/40/40/45 (last set only 6 reps, up 10 lbs)
reverse grip preacher curls 45/45/45/45 (wrists really hurt on this movement)
close grip bench 135/135/145/145 (both 145 sets were 8 reps, up 10 lbs)
preacher curl 75/75/75/75
leaning forward cable curl 60/60/60/60
skullcrushers 75/75/75/75 (need a spotter to do more - can't lower the weight)
rope tricep pushdown 90/90/90/90

at this time, my reverse grip tricep pushdown machine is still in use. figured while i was waiting i'd do a dropset of:
hammer curls
pinwheel curls

supersetted with 30 lbs till failure, 25 till failure, 20 till failure, 15 till failure.

got some water, machine was STILL in use. bleh. did another of these
30/25/20/15. the last set of 15 lbs i only did like 5-6 reps - i was beaten. the guy got the hint that i needed the machine, and moved off.

last set
reverse grip tricep pushdown 110/110/110/110

if i have to explain how challenging it was to pull my shirt off after this workout, you haven't been reading. awaiting the DOMS!!!
thats it for today - off to pick up my son.

the song that inspired me for today was :

Circle of Dust - Deviate

long story. awhile ago, july for the first week when i blew my knee out, i started smoking again. i got pulled over for throwing an incendiary device from my car. i was "ashing my cigarette" and the police officer decided that the ashes were "incendiary devices". according to california law, the only things that fall under that category are things on fire, matches, and cigarette butts. not ashes. insane right?

here's the catch. california has decided that now you have to pay your fine to GET A COURT DATE. when you win, you'll get your money back... yeah right.... that gives them extra incentive to find you guilty doesn't it?

here's the problem. the fine is $2880 . yes, i have to put up almost 3 grand for the PRIVILEGE of a trial. maybe i can use my mortgage payment for it, so i can default on my loan. but its OK, i'll get it back... what a frikken joke.

so every month, i have to go back there, show them my bills, and explain that there's no way i can afford a trial. its just plain irritating.

i mean, we are in a recession, property values have fallen, cities can't make as much money on property taxes, they have to make their money some other way. what are the odds they would give it back, even if the law sides with me? i'm so bent about this.

the only thing i can do, is cough up the money, show up with a copy of my TS clearance, my graduation from Military Intelligence school diploma, discredit the cop, then come up with ashing data somehow. all that to prove my innocence would be OK - so long as i didn't have to pay to be proven innocent. since when was getting a trial something you had to pay for?

meanwhile, the G/F's medical bills pile up. last month 5800 for her stint in the ER. i'll probably be broke when this is all said and done anyways. at least i'll be ripped when it happens. :)

i quit smoking again at the tail end of july in case you're wondering.

Jesus. 3 grand. Only in the California.

So everything ended up ok?

yeah. told them i'm broke. g/f's medical bills are doing damage. they are going to leave me alone for another month. then i have to go back in, and do it again. its just a waste of my time, and really infuriates me. thankfully, i use it to my advantage - i go to the gym after, and tear it up!

i think if i spent too much time focusing on the negatives, i'd probably snap - my life is a walking disaster of problems. thank god i keep everything positive, and try to stay as happy as possible. opiates would probably help with this, but i frown upon meds now.

Dude, I got the exact same ticket in college, but from the passenger window of a car. Crazy thing was, I was under the influence of hallucinogenic mushrooms at the time (no joke) and somehow I talked the cop into just giving me a littering ticket... and he didn't notice that I was tripping my brains out.

I had to go to trial too, for the whole "incendiary" deal. But at the time I didn't have to put any money up, I just had to go to trial.

The fine for littering at the time was $1000. I pleaded guilty and ended up getting a $250 fine and 8 hours community service. Come to think of it, I think I had a pretty cool judge... sorry things are so much more difficult now, that really sucks.

i think its got something to do with all the forest fires we've had is why they're coming down so hard, but its still silly.

This is the only way to be. Be positive. Being negative never changes the situation for the better. It just makes you feel worse. And the stress it brings is detrimental to your health. Physical, mental, and emotional. I hate to hear of your unjustified ticket bro, but you're handling it the right way. Stay positive and channel that rage in the gym. And even it will turn into a positive thing. I'd liked it when you said you were already pissed, so you might as well go to court all jacked!! That was funny. Good luck suncloud.

thanks TG.

DOMS has set in like mad. biceps and branch's are messed up. going to do a nasty back and leg workout today, i guarantee that. those two exta sets yesterday did some serious damage, so i'm going to try to do a dropset with leg extensions today for gits and shiggles.

thursday. 4th workout of the pulse. legs feel ok walking into the gym - that will change quick! its raining in nor cal today, feel like i'm coming down with something, so i'm mega dosing vitamin C. in homage to dragonfly, i did my squats/deads as a superset. this is NOT fun. glutes are demolished. here's the damage report :

legs / back
4 sets of 10 as supersets
squats to 90 degrees 135/185/195/195 (up 5 lbs, last two sets 7 reps)
sumo deadlifts 185/205/205/205 (no change)
pull ups - body weight 0/0/0/0
one arm DB row 45/45/50/50
SLDL 115/115/115/115 (form is much better today)
close grip pullowns - 100/110/120/130
SLED 360/360/360/360 (knees to pecs this time)
straight arm lat pushdown 70/70/80/80
donkey calf raises 90/90/90/115
Wide grip Pulldowns 100/100/110/115

i figured i'll have all week to recover, so i tried doing a superset/dropset of :

leg extension 130/110/90/70
lunges 25/25/20/20

good god! those two really hurt the hell out of me. something tweaked on the left part of my lower back where it attaches to the glute. its only painful during the lunge movement though - no pain walking. though walking is bringing a pain all its own!

i expect this minor tweaking will be gone by the next time i hit legs. maybe lunges are no longer my friend. thats it for today brotha's.

Great workout suncloud! Sorry to hear about the lower back though. Do you wear a belt when training legs? You might want to icy/hot that area before your next workout. Maybe even get those big icy/hot patches like big Shaq advertises and wear one of those when you workout until it's better. Just a suggestion. Way to kill those weights though bro. I'm watching your results on this run. I have never ran a pulse cycle before, so I'm waiting to see how you feel about this one. I have all kinds of gear to mix and match with. Keep me updated. :type::thumbsup:

Why sumo deadlifts? Just curious...

its just a slightly different movement. since i train legs/back twice a week, i try to do a variation of them on the second day. its also really tough on your inner thigh muscles - i can't find any other exercise that does that.

Try the thigh/hip abductor machine. :toofunny:

don't worry brotha. it'll get better - just a minor tweak, nothing serious. i wear a belt for my heaviest squat/dead/SLDL sets, but thats about it. i feel a little silly wearing it, since the only other guy that wears a weight, belt keeps it on to use the bicep curl machine.

in retrospect, doing a very challenging leg workout the day before i have to take my kids walking door to door was retarded.

i'll probably hit the gym a little late today, but i'm going to make it.

thanks for stopping by easy.

today was an off day. i have zero motivation today, and i don't know why. went to the gym (what else am i gonna do?), here's what went down:

friday
chest / shoulders
4 sets of 10
DB bench 50/55/55/55 (up one set of 55)
Arnold press 35/35/35/40 (up 5 pounds)
DB incline bench 45/45/45/45
cable front delt raises 25/25/25/25
decline bench 225/225/225/225
cable side delt raises 20/20/20/20
cable crossovers 40/40/40/45 (up 5 lbs)
wide grip pullovers 70/70/70/70
cable upright rows ? 75/75/75/75 (still can't ID real world weight on this - this machine said 150)
cable rear delt raises 20/20/20/20

i'm just exhausted today. for no reason i can figure out. motivation is really low, had to force myself to go to the gym today. if this continues 7 days from now, i'll seriously consider dropping this cycle, in favor of another tren run. dunno why i'm so out of it today. is lethargy possible this early in a cycle?

lethargy is possible first dose.... if you want to try something to combat it, 100-125mg dhea taken maybe 1/2 hr before taking the havoc and lmg should help

easy. thanks for your reply. this is day 5 of the pulse, day 3 of taking the LMG + Havoc. i've never felt this tired in my life, and certainly not at the gym. on a side note, last night was the first night i've slept through in 4 days, so maybe that caught up with me, and threw me for a loop. i'm definately going to do another week with more sleep before i do something hasty like drop this pulse - i've been looking forward to this for some time now.

I definitely agree with adding in the DHEA, as well as a stim for pre-workout effects. Make sure you're taking in enough complex carbs as well. Good luck with this, bother! :D

will do for the DHEA trauma, and thanks for your input. as far as carbs, i'm pushing 450g a day or so, maybe more - 250g alone in pre/post workout shakes. i'll try adding B-12 every day pre workout and see if that helps.

sleeping this weekend i think will do wonders as well.

The DHEA is an excellent idea bro. I always recommend it. Along with 4 to 6 grams of Vitamin C per day. Improves energy and lowers cortisol. And the extra sleep will work miracles as well. Don't drop the pulse. You'll be fine. I wouldn't want you to regret it down the road. Carry out your plan.

ah its ergomax lmg, not the max lmg :) I'm still undecided on my upcoming cycle, was thinking about the max lmg again

I think you should loose more bodyfat before using something that could put more fat on you, the recent pics i saw of you it looks like you could do with a strong cortisol blocker, and a better diet.
Then when you come to use something strong like LMG you will be in a much better posistion to respond.

As somone who has used havoc, and know all about lethargy it gives, i found 6000mg of vitamin c sipped through the day, plus buy some liver tabs, dessicated liver tabs contain an enzyme that helps the liver function properly, helping metabolise food, this helps with energy levels, and a good vitamin b complex, i wouldnt use stims as you can make the lethargy worse bro when you crash, get a good amount of sleep at night, try some fasted cardio, as that gave me a big boost later on in my M-drol cycle, when lethargy really set in, after i did the above i had no more problems.

Good log keep it up buddy, Russian

are you talking about the pics in post 1?

No i was talking to easy, but after looking at your pics i think this cycle will work well for you, with the anti- e properties of havoc, plus the anabolic , androgenic effects of lmg, if you added a cortisol blocker like Xtreme lean, or 11-oxo, or make your own transdermal, with 7-keto, or such like, i think you will really, and dramaticaly improve your body comp, could you give me a rough idea of your macros bro?

Russian

will do russian. i have b complex, some b-12 pills by themselves, etc lying around. will see how fast i can get some dessicated liver here.

the lethargy i'm guessing is related to the kids - they keep waking me up. i go to bed around 11:30 pm, and at like 1 am they wake up (last few days). nightmare related. i make them breakfast at 7am, so thats when i have to get up. i don't really notice the lethargy, friday was a crash like no other, so it really surprised me.

i'll get the dessicated liver though, not like it would hurt to add it in. again, thanks brotha.

russian - this was me in 2005 at 126 pounds :

diet is retarded high, usually i don't deviate from it much, except for sat/sunday i don't have my pre/post workout shakes. here goes my diet:

breakfast - 5 eggs, two bowls of granola (organic version of honey bunches of oats) with whole milk, two cups of coffee with three cups of 1/2 and 1/2 = 1900 calories
snack - peanut butter - 2 tbsp = 180 calories
snack - string cheese = 90 calories
lunch - two double cheeseburgers = 800 calories
pre workout - 50g of protein, 120g of carbs = 650 calories
post workout - 50g of protein, 120g of carbs = 650 calories
snack - peanut butter - 2 tbsp = 180 calories
snack - string cheese = 90 calories
dinner - 8oz buffalo or chicken + veggies + rice = 400 calories (est.)
snack - two servings of peanut butter (4 tbsp) = 360 calories
snack - string cheese = 90 calories
bedtime meal - 6-8 oz steak - no veggies or carbs = 280 calories (i'm guessing here)

i'm a pig. 1/2 gallon of whole milk every day as well. i cook at home and buy mostly organic - except for the milk and cheese.

Man youve come along way, looking through this, i think i see where an adjustment needs to be made, cut out the string cheese, and the double burgers, add some fasted cardio before breakfast. Add more healthy fats, almonds, walnuts etc, after 6, go for slow release proteins and lean meats only, as this will encourage gh, and also you wont get fat storage, when you do fasted cardio..following a cup of coffee, and some fish oils, you will be primed to burn fat for fuel, and that means extra bodyfat will be burnt.
Im guessing you have about 280 grams protein with your shakes, its good your keeping carbs high, but your fats are mainly unhealthy, saturated animal fats wont speed up your metabolism, and dairy products arent great either, clean it up a bit, make a few tweaks, add the cortisol blocker, and i think you will see a huge difference in just a short time frame..

Well done though on your transformation!!!!!

Russian.

russian - i added the string cheese for the added cholesterol more than anything else. i also edited my above post, because i didn't mention the 1/2 gallon of whole milk i drink per day.

would you advise i got skim milk and skim string cheese instead? also, i cook at home, and usually get very lean meat. the buffalo is an exception - i like it primarily for the high amount of creatine in it, and never see it lean. would lean ground beef also be your recommendation?

thanks in advance brotha.

Firstly you dont really get enough creatine for it to be noticeable, herring has much more creatine in it gram for gram, but id rather just supplement creatine into my regime. However red meat is very anabolic so its a good choice.
The leaner the better, and go for the skimmed, cheese and milk, i think with even just these changes you will see a change, keep me updated bro..Russian

alrighty. i'll adjust my diet on wednesday, when supply runs out. man, i can't imagine dropping down to 5k calories. thanks for your input brotha russian.

My diet is quite clean, but to get noticeable loss I have to drop cals below 2000, as I dont have time for cardio and strength training both given my current job + family and all. And then loss stops within 2 weeks, so thats not working out very well. i've got a few ideas to try in the next few weeks, possibly doing the velocity diet again and not do strength training for 2 weeks and just do cardio to really strip a bunch of fat off. I've tried the cortisol blockers as well and nothing other than retain 2 made any noticeable difference. I do still have a bottle of retain 2 left, but was saving it :) If I did the max lmg i'd do it with havoc or epi as well.

It could be the lighting (very probable) but you appear to be more 11-13%. Not an insult by any means, but just my observation.

11-11.5 wouldn't shock me. my bicep vein is not as distinct as it usually is. 12 is uncharted territory. i hope i haven't gotten there already!

holy sh!t. today frikken rocked. tons of junk came up in my life (it usually does), hit the weights, and here's the numbers:

legs/back
4 sets of 5 as supersets
squats (ATG) 165/165/165/165 (no change, felt great though)
chin ups bw + 25/25/30/30 (up 5 lbs for two sets)
deadlift to shrug 205/225/225/225 (up 20 lbs for three sets.... wow...)
row machine 110/110/110/120 (up 10 lbs for one set)
lat pull down 120/120/120/120 (up 10 lbs for one set)
SLDL 115/115/115/115
SLED 410/410/410/410 going up next week for sure
bent over rows 115/115/125/125 (up 10 lbs for two sets)
donkey calf raises 115/115/115/115
preacher curls 75/75/75/75

i'm speechless. went to buy some stuff for dinner - making cookies for the kids tonight. the whole time, keep in mind its raining and miserable outside, i can't stop smiling. deads with what the TG warms up with!!! its a heck of an improvement though, and i've got the "gym high" today - that absolute feeling i can't put words to.

in case anyone here has kids - the secret to soft chocolate cookies, is to add 1 small packet of vanilla jello to the mix. it keeps them soft for a week, no joke.

why did you throw in preacher curls at the end?

biceps are a little undersized compared to my tri's. one set can't hurt, especially with chins throw in there already. they usually recover in 36 hours, so there's no issues with wednesday's workout.

Hey man, if it works for you, then it works for you. I was just curious. Remember, triceps are 2/3 of your upper arm... the bicep is naturally smaller...
