SNS Releases X-Gels, the strongest natural anabolic out there!

I'm getting some legit Doms with ARA, currently deloading this week and I somehow destroyed my hamstrings doing SLDL with 135 lol, my normal sets would range between 250-315. Also today I was curling some 17.5s like a boss and my arms got mass pain pumps. A little nervous to go heavy again haha, but definitely stoked.

lol, nice! :) First time ArA user?
I've never gotten major DOMS from ArA, just mild to moderate...currently using Xgels now...tweaking my training up some by adding some speed/power into the rep tempo....see what that does...

Damn guys...that Facebook post just bummed me out hard. I defended you guys!

I understand **** happens and it is super cool the way your taking care of everything... but this means I can't take my 2g a day any more :(

W.L. was right... evidently its 100mg per cap. They released a statement. It was an accident in manufacturing... they are making it right but it sucks I made my self look like a jackass.

I don't think you were in the wrong. If Llewelyn had simply PMed a rep rather than hinting at it over and over again publicly, this would have been sorted out sooner before more bottles were sold. All in all, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. X-Gels will be reformulated to have 250mg ArA, and with the free bottle deal we are offering on current purchases is still a killer deal when it comes to money spent per gram of ArA.

You can, you'll just need to take more pills (and you'll have double with the bottles were sending out) and you'll need to take 1g calcium with it.
 
I'm bringing this over in case anyone has missed it. It's in the main section as well.

I. Purpose & Intention of X-Gels
The intention of SeriousNutrition Solutions X-Gels product was to provide the same amount ofArachidonic Acid content as X-Factor.

II. Confusion & Error
The confusion on the X-Gels& X-Factor issue is that when we consulted a manufacturer to make a productfor us that contained the same amount of Arachidonic Acid as X-Factor, themanufacturer designed the product to match the Arachidonic Acid content ofX-Factor in accordance with the way the X-Factor label was represented onseveral online retail sites. This information was not represented accurately inthe places that they looked, and therefore carried over into an inaccuracy inthe design of the product.

It was not the intention ofSerious Nutrition Solutions to deceive any consumers, and we do not feel it wasthe intent of the manufacturer to deceive us. They began the project with afalse understanding of the product they were manufacturing for us. It was neverthat we/they released a product that wasn’t what it was supposed to be; it wasthat the perception of the dosage contained in X-Factor was apparentlyincorrect from the start.

III. X-Gels label
The supplement facts panel onthe X-Gels label is factually correct. It does contain 250 mg or ArachidonicAcid Oil standardized down to 40% Arachidonic Acid.

Even though the label istechnically correct, through no fault of their own our online representativeshave marketed the product to be the same as X-Factor when in fact it isn’t.Please keep in mind that it was supposed to be, and it was no intention ofSerious Nutrition Solutions or their representatives to misinform or misleadanyone.

IV. Apology
We are sincerely sorry for anyconfusion that this has caused to consumers, MN, or our own representatives. Wehad to wait for clarification from the manufacturing facility before releasinga statement because we had to make sure that the facts were in order before wedid so.

V. Product Compensation
X-Gels will continue to be soldand is an excellent value at the price point it sells for.

However, Serious NutritionSolutions would like to offer a free bottle of X-Gels for each bottle purchasedby our customers. This offer qualifiesfor products purchased on or before July 14[SUP]th[/SUP], 2012. For the record, I would not be concerned with using 10-12 caps a day if you are not getting zinc from other sources. If you dose it preworkout only (4x a week) as per suggestions and don't use supplemental zinc on off days, then I'd extend that number to 12-15 caps per workout.

Zinc depletes copper.

Calcium competes for absorption with zinc, hence co-ingestion if one was seeking to block zinc absorption. The dose would theoretically have to be >800 mg.
 
So I guess a1 wasn't the only one losing money off the introductory sales lol...
No big deal. It is cool SNS is compensating.

I sent my email for the free compensation bottle to sales@SNS, my question is if they are supposed to have 250mg per cap and they actually have 100mg even with a free bottle aren't we still getting shorted? 200 pills @100mg is still less that 100 pills @250mg. Or do we get the corrected dosage bottles free? So I should bump up to 10 xgels a day for a 1g/day dose I'm assuming as well.

We appreciate the support, we truly do. The labeling was wrong, we were all in the dark. All of us reps are eating crow here, we feel pretty bad. Things could have been handled differently on the forums and with other companies, but that's in the past. Now the goal is to get the correct X-Gels on to the market and continue to provide our customers with the quality and formulations they've come to expect from SNS.
 
Do you have a response for my question Rhadam? I'm curious to find out if we will be compensated so that we get as much ArA as we originally were told when we bought it. To me it appears that even after compensation, customers will only have 80% of the ArA we were told that we would receive. 5g missing out of 25g.

This is what I was saying, but it looks like the answer is no...what I don't understand is why SNS wouldn't just send out 3 bottles for every 2 purchased and just 1 for those who bought 1. Seems like an easy fix especially since they say they want to fix the problem even If its at a loss to them

Unfortunately it does not look that way. From a customer standpoint I wish that is how we would be compensated, but from a logistics standpoint it just doesn't seem feasible to do because what about the people who bough an odd number of bottles?

The way I look at it is with the extra bottle we still basically get a 20 workout run (roughly one month dosing 10 pills for 1g ArA pre-workout only if working out 5 days a week) for ~$30. That is still a great price, we just get shortchanged on what we expected. No way to say it doesn't suck, sorry and I am in the same boat as all of you as well. :(

Ok so basic deal I order 25 grams of ArA, I receive 10 grams, but to make it up to me I get 10 free grams. Consider me dissatisfied if that's the case. This is kinda shady tbh. Like not trying to be a d1ck here, but this is not right. I want my 15 grams of ArA that I'm still owed. Any SNS reps online to weigh in here?
 
Sorry, I've been dealing with non-SNS related issues for the past week. Randoja, uva, please PM me your concerns and I will get back to you ASAP. I just don't want them to get lost in this thread, and I will do my best to make this right for you guys
 
I also want to add that I am deeply sorry about all of this. I genuinely thought that the label had 250mg pure ArA, a clear misinterpretation on my part. The intention was never to mislead, but I agree that it is unacceptable which is why I wish to do my absolute best to make things right for whoever feels that they were not treated correctly in this scenario.

The same applies to anyone from bodybuilding.com or other websites who feel the same way. If you see someone who does not feel they were treated fairly, please let them know my email address ([email protected]), as I can completely understand where everyone is coming from and want to help.

Again, my apologies for all of this. Please let me help in making things right.
 
We Aussies pay $10 or do for each bottle shipped and you guys are complaining about receiving a free bottle which leaves 20% left uncompensated. Not had really. Not ideal but you have to realize sns is Doug their best. Just be thankful you don't pay $40 or so per bottle like we do for Xgels.

I know this is not the reps fault but it's a crappy situation nonetheless. Getting less ArA than expected even after the free bottle is disappointing.


Maybe a special discount coupon for purchasers of the botched batch when the corrected product comes out? Just a thought.

Front of bottle says "250mg arachidonic acid per serving" and that isn't the case

Yeah I actually looked into that. It is correct, legally speaking, as it is still referring to the ingredient as part of an oil (similar to how the label says ArA (40%) - 250mg). Remember, cargill approved the labels/bottles. The issue has been the unfortunate misinterpretation :(

i think they're going to sell the stock they have left, then when it's time for the next run the issue is going to be fixed.


hey coop, is the price going to be adjusted? seeing that now there are 10g of ArA in the bottle, instead of the supposed 25g. or is the current price a reflection of the actual 10g worth of raws in the bottle?

I'm going to jump in and say "probably not by much". The problem is that a lot of the cost of a bottle is in the bottle, making the caps, distribution, etc. Not that the raw materials are irrelevant, but there are other factors. And I'm pretty sure like most products, SNS based their web retail price on what it cost them to have it manufactured as it is. There may be some blowout sale to get rid of what inventory is left of this batch though.

I honestly have no idea and haven't asked Steve, but I can today and get back to you. EasyEJL's response is pretty sound though.

We cannot give you an exact ETA as that can be misleading if we run into hold-ups.

I can't seem to figure out an exact number, but on an average day for me I get 268% of my daily recommended value for calcium. Is that enough to offset the extra zinc from 10 xgels instead of 4?

I think the key is to take the calcium at the same time as the X-gels. I could be wrong, but that's what I am going to do.

seems legit, I wont be able to grab a specific Ca supp for a week or so, what happens if I get too much Zinc?

Too much zinc can be bad, especially for any length of time. Here is what I am going to do based on some advice from a wise man:

Take two Tums chewables with my ArA dose pwo. Stop taking my multi-vitamin during my X-gel run to avoid all zinc supplementation. Take Cissus XT to counter joint sides the opposite time of day from my workout. It might be cheaper to find generic Tums than a calcium supplement. You might even have some laying around.
