SNAGged and TORN..No More! (The Saga Continues)

So you are just making dough type balls and keeping them in the fridge Chef Snagalicious? They are not actually cooked correct. I have made some fun things like that with peanut butter and protein powder. Made a peanut butter fudge type thing with oats a little while back that was to die for.

correct, no-bake balls. :biglaugh:

did you get my PM btw Kleen? ;)

I sure did, I almost spit my coffee out. Damn, I forgot to respond I guess. I think I was on my way out to the gym or something when I saw it. Was too funny.

Man I wish I had the courage to stay out of the gym for 4-6 weeks. I would be afraid of backsliding. The work I do in the gym is what makes it worth me eating right. When not in the gym I automatically seem to backslide on the nutrition side of things. For a natural chubby like myself that is a bad combination.

see I don't have that issue..don't get me wrong, I'll have my cheats like the next guy (actually my cheats are extreme, cuz that's just the way I roll - extreme in everything!), but weights are not what keep me focused on eating right.
but that word 'courage' - yeah that fits. I hope I have enough to follow thru with my plan! :o
not just the mental side of things (release of stress etc.), but when I see myself kinda shrinking down and losing muscle fullness, I really don't know how I'll deal with that.

getting ready to smash the weight session today, feeling great! :)
didn't update yesterday, but it was a killa leg session, I was in da groove..short rests, couple supersets, cranking it out.
thinking about getting out and busting some sprints into the mix here the last few weeks, we'll see. I'll have my fill of cardio activity soon enough, so don't know if I'll implement these or not.

Yah I'm like Kleen, I tend to let things slide when I take extended time away from the gym but my reason for getting away is always not a positive one. Planned time off is a totally different thing. I just couldn't plan time off for this long as I don't have the extra activity to fill my schedule.

there's the key for sure - no way could could I just sit around twiddling my thumbs for 6 weeks without some kind of physical activity to do. :nono:

2-day progress pic.. :)
not a fully flexed pic or anything, moreso to show the abs coming in. lower abs are my trouble spot.
things are rolling along well..I'm having Prime carryover I guess - haven't really noticed any diminished effects to this point from ending the CEO superload I ran at the end, and another reason why I love that graduated dosing scheme, the carryover effect. ;)
again, I anticipate rapid daily changes this week, I'm entering the ZONE! :D :hammer:

lookin good Snag my man!!! Love the cannon balls... and all the balls jokes to boot!!

Looking great man! Yeah when I cheat it is BIG time. I do need other activities, I have my martial arts but diving head first into that won't heal me up any better. I would love to get a good road bike to ride some big miles on. I imagine you will not only get any lost muscle back quickly but probably even break another size plateau when you come back.

I see your Road bike and raise you a nice Gary Fisher 29er Mountain Bike with all the bells and whistles... give me a trail over the pavement anyday!!

I would have to ride a man made bayou to find anything like a good trail in houston. Well actually I hear there are some nice ones but they are a drive. I was thinking of getting a good lightweight mountain bike and some slicks for it so I can ride the MS 150 on it too.

a budy of mine does the same. They are great for all purpose riding, and if you aren't competing, then the extra weight of the mountain bike on the road helps the legs blow up faster

yeah that gets lost in the shuffle of what I do during summer, but I do enjoy the aggressive bike ride couple times weekly! :yup:

and that is the hope my man, for sure. :)

my balls are legendary.

that is the rumor... but then it's the rumor among nothing but dudes... :booty:

wait - Metroba doesn't count?

:lmao: ahahaa, damn I couldn't resist, sorry Rob.

I think he left my thread awhile back, got tired of being the butt of everyone's jokes (no pun intended).. :D

I live right by two of the best trails and do ride them as the weather improves; wet trails don't go well with the bike and my car. Besides that though, you can ride a mountain bike on the road though they are not very comfortable after 40-50 miles, no matter what tires or seat you have. Road bikes are purpose built and I will take one of those any day for a longer ride.

Well said oufinny, but my problem is when I see the mud... it calls to me almost like the iron does. In my mind, if I don't come back muddy and bleeding... I did something horribly wrong!!! :saw:

Man if you are gonna have a burrito at least make sure it is one of those bad mofo's. Oh wait you are in Utah aren't you? Not a lot of great burrito spots I bet.

Last time I was in UT in November 2009 I have to say the food left something to be desired in the Mexican department... I feel for ArmyGuy, doesn't know what he is missing.

luckily for me it was just something I threw together at the house as I was running out the door. Tried to get nearly a full pound of beef and beans... with just a little cheese... It felt like a rock in my stomach!!! If I would have had to pay for it... Alpha male would have had to come out!!! :rocketwhore:

LOL, I bet! That is an awful lot of Alpha too at your size!

sweet pump today in the back, felt like I was flying.. :D
kind of a weird pic, but I was enthralled with my pump and just pulled my shoulders back to flare the lats out a bit, nothing else flexed.
abs are starting to come in nicely.

King Cobra Snag...all flared out bubba!!

lil Pink update..
mine is on the way, shipped today. as a tester, I'll need to continue with the weight training thruout my trial, soooo..
not only a change in plans on the rest I was planning to take, but I'll also be making a new thread for this run. so when Pink arrives I'll make some supplement changes (gonna isolate this stuff), and I'll post a link at that time to the new thread..and that'll be a wrap on this one! :)

Looking badass Snags!

Yah your looking fuggin huge!!

ooooo man, HELLZ YEAH! :woohoo:
new cuts and striations abound this morning! :hammer:
this is the day I've been waiting for - crazy changes underway.
next round of pics will be notable..coming soon.

Nice..look forward to how you incorporate this into the plan and what it brings. The big thing with you is that the other variables are constant so you really can see the compounds results.

I'm multi-tasking like a madman right now, missed this..but AZ you bring up an important point that I wanted to touch on.

absolutely on-point with your statement.
the effort and clean diet are always there with me. that is a given.
it is really hard to control some of these variables with some testers, as they can be all over the place. and absolutely - if variables are not constant, then one cannot truly report results from a given product.

I have to say Snag your logs and consistency are not only motivating but really give me and all the other guys that follow along a snapshot of what the products are capable of if given a chance. Any review you give or log you run on anything new I always trust to be accurate and honest. All efforts in my upcoming Pink Magic log will be put forth to bring everyone the same.

thank you! I thrive on that compliment brother! :)

awesome man, cool deal you got picked! :wiggle:
fun times ahead..

Really interested in how the Pink is for you, then you can advise me the best time for me to use it. I am thinking right up to contest because of the talk of increase volume and vascularity but you can verify that when you run it.

sure thing bro..that will definitely be something I'll report on.
vascularity is not really there for me right now, despite coming into that 6% range..kinda odd.
so of course, if I see chnages in this dept I'll be tickled as well.

vascularity is not really there for me right now, despite coming into that 6% range..kinda odd.

Funny thing you mention this. I've noticed over the years how some pro's are just not vascular or veiny.
Tony Pearson comes to mind. And Flex Wheeler too. Lean as Hel, but not many veins showing. Not even the biceps rope as I like to call it.
Then I've seen somewhat fatter guys like powerlifters and strongmen who have big ol' biceps veins but big ol' guts to go with 'em.

So some guys can be lean but not very vascular and some guys can be kinda fat but vascular.
Strange.

yeah vascularity is a genetic thing.
there are certain supps that help produce this in ppl, but overall if you do not have the vein placement to begin with, you ain't gonna be roped out.
there have been times in the past where I've been veiny-er (is that a word?) than others, all things like bodyfat being equal..it's weird.

Yah it just comes and goes, without reason... or so it seems...

Yah it just comes and goes, without reason... or so it seems...

My buddy is crazy veiny and I am not really that much at all... I imagine it will improve the more I lean out but like Snags said, it comes and goes. Some days I have pipe in my arms, others I wonder what the heck is going on. To me it is like bicep curls, some guys get off on saying they can curl 50 pounds all day long or are crazy vascular, well who the F cares if you can't even do a complete rep on half your exercises?

switching gears..as someone once said, 'it's the end, my friends'..

after a rest day yesterday, kicked out a little fun session today for my last workout before I take a mini-break. biceps, triceps, forearms, and abs, 30sec rest between all sets..nailed it. :)

with Pink on the way and my requirement to run weights thruout the test period, decided to rest till it arrives, guessing middle of next week I'll resume.

altho I didn't quite finish out the way I had planned, this run has been an unqualified success.
I have reshaped the body, gained some strength, stamina, and most importantly I remain injury-free and feeling great!

weight finished this morning at 193.3 upon rising, bf I guesstimate to be @ 6%. wife is not around this morning to snap pics, so we'll do that tomorrow and I'll post up then.

I will also try to get some final reviews up of some of the products I used thruout, including TNA (yes Jacob - BRING IT BACK!)..

thanks to all who followed along..hope I was educational and entertaining.
