Slim Xtreme Mouth Taste Side

Alright since I've starting taking SX about 2 weeks ago, my mouth started getting really really dry, then I've began to develop a constant weird taste in my mouth that never goes away. It usually tastes like metal, or sometimes just weird. I will literally brush my teeth for minutes on end, and make sure that i brush every single part of my mouth without gagging like crazy. Less than an hour later it comes back.

Also, whenever I workout, or do more than 10 minutes of anthing, my mouth gets so damn dry I can barely move my tongue properly.

Are these common??

I'm thinking the dry mouth allowed some bacteria to grow causing the taste, so when I get home i'm gonna use some hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash to hope it stops it.

i notice the samething. no matter how much water i drink my mouth and throat are always dry. i guess i can look at it as a good thing. i stay hydrated

I think I read something about this, like you are lacking a certain vitamin or mineral I think. Maybe when a AX rep comes on they can answer you. Sorry you have waited so long.

Well the dry mouth is a common side effect. That just comes along with SX. However I am still waiting on an answer about why a taste could occur.

awesome thanks for all the help ;) .....I am going to the dentist today just in case its beyond the scope of SX, but I just thought it was way too much of a coincidence.

A weird taste huh? That sounds odd. Wait for bigsmith to figure that one out. Dry mouth is common as others have said, and I experience that often myself

I get a weird taste from protein shakes for hours after I drink one. Have you started a different brand lately? Never had that happen with SX.

I think the weird taste might simply be due to your mouth getting dry, and whatever salts or bacterias in your saliva are now at a high enough concentration to break taste threshholds.

Are you on a Keto ( low carb ) diet ?

bad taste you say? I eat tuna out the can all day everyday haha, anyway thanks for all the replies to this thread so I know what to look out for.

Tuna is really high in mercury levels compared to other fish because they are so big. I think they recommend only 1-2 servings a week of it. Just saying... Talipa is a good choice and it's cheap.

Mass FX, Hyperdrol, and SX all make my throat feel weird :worried: When I was on the first two, I thought I wsa choking a few times. Just side effect from the powder.

...or sometimes a side effect of the caps not washing down the whole way and "popping" in your esophagus. Herbal burps can be quite nasty, and I've had this happen with Hyperdrol unfortunately. Once...and only once. Now I know that 12oz or more of water with each dose is a must.

The odd taste from SX is a bit puzzling. When I think metallic taste in my mouth, I figure that I've either been chewing on paperclips again (yes, I do that, I'm weird...), or I may have bitten my tongue and am bleeding. Blood has a metallic taste to it. I AM NOT SAYING IT IS BLOOD!!! But if the dentist finds any gum issues or a cavity or anything, that could happen I guess. Still waiting for Kevin's official response on it, but until then, keep drink and nab a big pack of Orbit!! :D

I get the herbal burps very often, I just don't think when I'm half asleep in the morning and don't use enough fluid. Those things are nasssty and last for quite a while

ALRIGHT guys....so I finally made it do the dentist, and well pretty much all that weird **** going on in my mouth was due to an infection that I got because my mouth was dry =/ .....SO yeah, make sure you keep drinking water, or at least carry that mouth gel you rub in your mouth that helps produce saliva

On that note, I'll say this (not directed towards you, but moreso to anyone reading, who's experiencing similar issues):

Bacteria reproduces EXPONENTIALLY.

believe it or not, eating and drinking help to keep this bacteria colonies at bay by washing it down.

Especially with SX, since your mouth gets dry, and you're probably not eating as much/frequently, there's not as many times we're eating or drinking things to keep this bacteria under control.

I'd recommend getting some delicious chewing gum to chew on between meals. Helps keep the teeth clean, the bacteria down, and therefore your breath fresh. I've gotta imagine if you have a gross taste in your mouth, your breath ain't too pretty either.
